6. Why are you applying for a role in government? - I haven't interacted with Nationstates much outside of playing around with Issues and voting in the WA. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to dig my fingers in and learn more about the game and the systems it's working to simulate.

7. Why are you applying for this position specifically? - This was how Haymarket Riot got their start into the deep game. I joined Ridgefield because of their efforts in recruiting so I'd appreciate the opportunity to see things from the same position they once saw it, and have a chance to find things out from a council position that's a bit more beginner-friendly.

10. How will you uphold the duties of your office, as described in the charter? - The Speaker's position is primarily one of organization and communication. In terms of keeping all factbooks and legal code updated, I will regularly review and keep abreast of any changes to pertinent information. In terms of regulating debate, for a good-faith discussion on any policy or legislation one must always keep in mind both fairness and empathy. Whenever regionwide communiques are required, swift and efficient dispatches are the name of the game, and always accurate. In the case of a trial I'll put on my Kaede Akamatsu hat do my best to represent those who need my support and find well-researched and well-intentioned arguments for their defense.
