The region of India has been facing activity issues for the past few months and this has led to the current Prime Minister to be declared illegitimate and striping of all his powers. On The Fifth day of November in the year Two Thousand Twenty-Five, the President released a Presidential Order officially announcing the Illegitimacy of The Government, Dissolution of The Parliament and Submission of Report by the Caretaker Prime Minister. On The Seventh day of December in the year Two Thousand Twenty-Five, the Caretaker Prime Minister submitted and released the above asked Report to the President and the public after necessary redactions. In light of this report and further assessment of the region's situation, it was jointly decided by the Caretaker Prime Minister and the Honourable President that On The Tenth day of February in the year Two Thousand Twenty-Six, that the President shall and has published The Declaration of Emergency, Training, and Measures for Training, Capacity Building Ordinance, 2026 which is an Ordinance to issue a declaration of emergency, to amend the Constitution and the Election Commission Act of 2023 for the course of this said emergency.

The above said Declaration of Emergency, Training, and Measures for Training, Capacity Building Ordinance, 2026 shall serve as one of the holy grails for this announcement and further succeeding announcements that are meant to take place. This Ordinance was prepared due to the report that was submitted by the Caretaker Prime Minister. Keeping all the amended clauses in mind and the necessity of reviving the democratic process in the region, this announcement shall be declaring the following:

(1) Appointment of Election Commission:
The last general elections for the region was held in the month of January 2024 and a few special and bye-elections had followed in the month of February 2024. The Election Commission during that election has gone inactive and unable to perform their duties as of now. Hence for the smooth functioning of the democratic process, the following nations have been appointed to take over as the new Election Commission of the region of India. President / Governor Indusse shall preside over this commission with Akhand Bharatam and Indusians taking the role of the election commissioners and forming this three member commission.

(2) Appointment of Supreme Court Judges:
The Judiciary plays a major role in upkeeping the democracy in a state. Hence a panel of three judges shall be formed as the Interim Supreme Court of the region. Former Chief Justice RIHAAM shall preside the panel with Marvellia and Tamil nayaks joining in as the rest of the panel members. This panel shall remain as an Interim panel only for upkeeping the law of the land and shall be re-appointed if needed when the next General Election is announced.

(3) Announcement of Special Jana Sabha Elections:
In light of the recommendations made by the Caretaker Prime Minister and his demand for a Meritocratic Democracy for the region, it has been decided that the region shall have a Special Jana Sabha Elections in the month of March 2026. A Special Jana Sabha will be formed through this elections (composition announced later during the nomination period) where these members will be trained for being the future office bearers of the region. This Jana Sabha shall not decide upon matters that are of major effect on the structure and existence of the region and its actions will be consulted with the President. This Jana Sabha shall have the Caretaker Prime Minister to be its presiding officer and the tenure of this Jana Sabha shall last until the Emergency ends.

Before the elections are announced there is a need for auditing the Citizenship List which shall serve as the electoral roll of the region. Hence the Election Commission has decided on letting members of the region to apply for citizenship to take part in the elections. Any Member of the region joined before 15th of February 2026 1:00 AM IST is eligible for applying for citizenship in this announced auditing period. The below are the tentative and official dates for this process:

18 - 22 Feb: Application Period
23 - 25 Feb: Auditing Period
26 Feb - 3 March: Nomination and Campaigning
8 March - 13 March: Election
14 March - 16 March: Announcement of Results

All Eligible Members are now requested to apply for citizenship if they have not yet done from 18th February to 22nd February 2026 (Deadline: 11:59 PM IST) in the citizenship thread in the forums. The Election Commission shall take over the approval for the applications.
