Viktor Antonov (born 17 March 1974) is a Bardonian military officer and government official who has served as Minister of Defense of the De Facto Republic of Bardonia Islands since 2025. A career officer in the Bardonian Army, Antonov holds the rank of Major General.
Antonov entered military service during the final Soviet period and remained in Bardonia following independence. He subsequently served in a number of command and staff positions within the Bardonian Armed Forces, eventually becoming one of the military's senior professional officers.
In 2025, President Rogue Zorin appointed Antonov Minister of Defense as part of a wider reorganization of Bardonia's defense establishment and senior military leadership. His appointment followed Rogue's efforts to reduce the political influence of senior officers associated with the former Markovic administration and place greater emphasis on professional military leadership.
As defense minister, Antonov has overseen military readiness, modernization, procurement and administration of the Bardonian Armed Forces. He works closely with President Rogue, who exercises significant authority over national defense and security policy.
