Declassified: Project Facsimile

Project Facsimile is designed to spread Quasiphagi influence throughout the cosmos. It is a self-replicating probe that will land on a planet or asteroid, mine enough materials to copy itself completely, and fly in the other direction than the new probe, which will also fly away. This will probably result in slight discrepancies in the creation of new probes, allowing evolution to take place. These probes will eventually spread into habitable planets, where they will release Project Memory.
All information gleaned will be transported to earth via radio signals.
