King List of Linnuis
- "I Linnuices of Troy, son of Silvius, grandson of Ascanius, great-grandson of Aeneas, do claim this island of Gogmagoc the gyant, son of Bowen and descendant of Albion, for mine own. Guided by the prudence of Diana I found this land that is called Albion and now shall be known as Linnuis. Corineus the brave did slay the gyant Gogmagoc, son of Bowen, son of Kotope, son of Kox, son of Scofféild, son of Huddan, son of Slaiyed, son of Berethyn, son of Coban, son of Hyle, son of Hand, son of Guantok, son of Albina, wife of Albion, who was the first in the land and was the son of Riphath, the son of Gomer, the son of Japheth."
The text is written in the language of the Hittites, which probably would've been the lingua franca in Anatolia (which of course is where Troy was) at the time. Linnuan historians have debated the validity of the inscription for centuries but haven't reached an agreement. One side argues that the text is a forgery and is purely mythical. The other side argues that there is no reason to doubt the text since the giants it speaks of could've have just been very tall men. A third side argues that the inscription was written by Linnuices but the story of the giants was fictitious.
Linnuan legend tells of the twelve generations of giants who ruled old Linnuis and were descended from Albion and Albinus. Though formidable enough to see off any foreign invaders they couldn't prevent internal strife from tearing the old kingdom apart. A lack of new stock and high mortality rates led to inbreeding and the downfall of the giants. By the time of the arrival of Linnuices there were scarcely 100 giants remaining. Linnuices and his men defeated all of giants - usually by guile rather than brute force - except one; Gogmagoc, king of Albion. The final giant fought in a desperate last stand against the mighty Trojan hero, Corineus, at what is now the town of Trevena. Realising that he couldn't win by force, Corineus lured Gogmagoc to a cliff and, during the fight, tripped the giant to its death - the last of the children of Albion.

Upon the death of Linnuices the island was divided between his three sons; Locrinus, Kamber, and Albanactus, who founded the three kingdoms of Linnuis. The royal family ruled all Linnuis for well over a century, and ruled Loegria for over three hundred years. Local rivalries and distance between the kingdoms and the centre of Linnuan power led to the family's downfall in Albany and Kambria. Leir was the last of the direct male descendants of Linnuices, although he did have three daughters: Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia. After losing and subsequently regaining his throne Leir died and was replaced by his daughter Cordelia. The end came when Cordelia was captured in battle and the kingdom of Loegria was divided between Cunedda, who later became ruler of all Linnuis, and Margan.
Unlike many of the later kings of Linnuis the reigns of the Linnuan kings are well documented (at least in Loegria) due to the importance placed on them by the Linnuans. According to many sources the Linnuan kings always employed a record keeper so that their legacy would not be forgotten and that "their deeds would not pass from memory." Sadly, later dynasties did not keep up this tradition to the same degree.

The ascension of Caledonus did not sit well with king Efrawg and king Llud who often challenged his legitimacy. In response, Caledonus built Caledon castle around which the present city was built around. His son fully established the dynasty and named the region around Caledon after himself: Lodainn. Many places in Albany are named after these kings such as the Chlaid river, and the Cairn mountains.
Maglaurus married Gonerli, the daughter of Leir, and conspired with Henwynus against Leir. He ruled briefly over east Loegria before being defeated and killed by Leir and a joint Loegrian-Gallic army. His son Margan conspired against Cordelia with Cunedda and succeeded in regaining the lands his father ruled but made the kingdom poor due to financial mismanagement. He ordered raids on Kambrian towns to collect money but this soon incurred the wrath of Cunedda who made war on Margan. The defeat of the Albans and the death of Margan in battle spelled the end for the house of Caledon. Albany was ruled Cunedda the Kambrian for three decades until the Alban kings were restored by Cruithne.
