Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Constitution

Article I. Defining the Region
Section I. The region in this document shall be titled as the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Section II. The Regional name is the Church of Flying Spaghetti Monster. This is not the official name.

Article II. Electing Officials
Section I. The first Tuesday of each month elections will be held. Each member of the region has the right to one vote per position. If a region member has multiple accounts he/she may only vote once using one of those accounts. You may only run for two positions no matter what. If only one person they shall be given the position without a poll. Nobody may run for a position after the first poll is put up.

Section II. Positions and Their Responsibilities

  • Diplomacy Officer - The Diplomacy Officer constructs embassies with other regions. They are responsible for making sure we uphold our good relations with other regions. It gives someone the power of embassies.

  • Homeland Officer - The Homeland Officer is in charge of the appearance of the region. He/she must keep the World Factbook looking good. He/she needs to also, with regional approval, set a flag for the region. The flag does not need to change with each Homeland Officer.

  • Research Officer - The research officer is a combination of Communications and polls. They are required to set up polls for the region. They may only set up polls once it has either been approved or made into a proposal by the Legal Council. They are also responsible for making sure people are informed about regional news and answer questions.

  • Defense Officer - The defense officer has the job to make sure that region rules are followed. He/she needs to suppress posts on the regional message board that don’t follow the regional message board rules. The also can eject people from the region if they think they are not doing their job. If they are found ejecting people without a good legitimate reason, which must be sent to the vice-delegate, then they will have their privileges revoked and the founder of the region will take over that position.

  • Region Founder - The region founder can not be voted for. It will always be the Republic of the Araluen States. The Founder gives power to those after they are elected. If he needs to he may take away the privileges of people doing their positions. This should only be done in the event of an emergency. The Founder also needs to do the jobs of positions that either haven’t been appointed or of people who haven’t been doing their jobs properly.

  • Vice-Delegate - The Vice-Delegate serves as a leader for the region. His/Her job is to appoint the Legal Council members. The Vice-delegate also serves as a Legal Council Member (see below) himself. To be Vice-delegate you must have held a position at least once before.

  • WA-Delegate - The WA Delegate represents The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in the World Assembly.

  • Legal Counsel Member - Appointed by the Vice-Delegate (see above), they work on amendments to the Constitution and decide whether something should be added to the Constitution. They also advise the Vice-delegate.

  • Most Noodly Army General - The commander of the most noodly army will be in charge of conducting liberations, leading the army, and accepting new members into the army. He/she will have power over communications, border control, and appearance.

Section III. If you wish to run for a position you need to send a telegram must be sent to the Research Officer. The Research Officer can never reject a person to run for a position unless they do not meet the requirements. A member of the region can only run for two positions.

Article III. Amendments
Section I. Only members of the Legal Counsel may add amendments to The Constitution and may do so as they see fit. If the amendment gets the approval of two non-legal councilmen it shall be put in a poll. If that poll doesn't not get a 75% majority vote it will not be added to the constitution. If members of the Church wish to add new amendments they need to send a telegram to legal council members. Then they will write a law about it and then make a poll about it.

Disagreement over whether it is justified is left to the communications and polls officer.
