Overview

Aldion is an Constitutional Monarchy, that is home to over 625,000,000 people. Aldion is known for it's military strength, Retail Industry and mass amounts of skyscrapers. Aldion is also the founding nation of the once great alliance "N8T0", the alliance would grow to become one of TNP's largest alliances until the alliance was disbanded post-war with the Warsaw Pact

History

For most of Aldion's history the government had been ruled by the Monarchy, one of Aldion's major wars occurred in 1924 and was with the Republic of Yadon which lasted for 3 years with over 2 million casualties altogether. Then in 1927 the Aldionian Civil War occurred against the Loyal Monarchists and the Free Aldionian Republic, the war lasted 6 years with the Battle of Port Ranger taking place in 1929 a took over 650,000 lives, in 1933 a treaty was composed that banned Absolute-Monarchism in the government.

Geography

Aldion is located on the Aldion Isles which have an average tempature of 19 degrees, it also features many beaches and our most famous tourist attraction, Mount Hermes which is a 20,674 feet tall, and is the tallest point in all of Aldion. Aldion is also home to the Grey Vield which is a rare breed of dog only found in Aldion, they make great pets and some are even used as police dogs due to their high senses. Aldion is split into North and South, the North is mostly inhabited by cities and high infrastructure while in the South especially in the small city of Pajíp there are many ancient buildings and the Southern part of the Island are home to medieval castles and are a huge center of private homes. The Northern coast of the Island has a defensive line called William's Wall, the line was constructed during the Aldionian-Yadon War and repelled Yadon invasions effectively.

Demographics

The Aldionian people have varied cultures, due to the open borders and high immigration, 74% of Aldion's population are natives. The immigration has also made Spanish a national language in Aldion with kids by the age of 6 knowing English and Spanish (well at least the basics) the growth rates have skyrocketed now with the flowing immigrants and the population density rose from 39 people per km2 to 42.

Military

The Aldionian Armed Forces consist of the Army, Home Guards, Air Force and Navy. The Marine Corps and Special forces retain big roles in the Armed forces but are considered as subsections of the Army

In 2017, the military had 1.461 million personnel. Overall, Aldion has on of the the largest standing military force in Osea, and the 4th largest military in the World. Aldion is also the worlds most prominent arms dealers, taking in 450 billion annually from the arms industry alone.

Aldion has a large focus on it's Army and Naval forces, as it has to patrol many of it's overseas territories greatly due to the instability in Osea. The military budget of the Aldion in 2011 was more than $770 billion, 37% of global military spending, most of the funds spent on the military is used for R&D, with the Navy and Army tailing closely behind.

As of 2015, Aldion has a manpower of around 22 million troops, however it is estimated that around 4-5 million men can be fully equipped before the arms stockpile begins to deplete rapidly. Throughout Aldion's history Osea has been a warmongering continent with thousands of men dying every week. The most peaceful times Osea had was during the Cold War between N8T0 and the Warsaw Pact, after the War to End All Wars the continent has once again erupted into conflict, with Aldion even being involved in some of them.

Economy

The United States has a capitalist mixed economy] which is fueled by abundant natural resources and high productivity. According to the Global Bank Union, Aldion's GDP of A$21 trillion constitutes 18% of the gross world product at market exchange rates and over 19% of the gross world product at purchasing power parity (a.k.a PPP)

The nominal GDP of Aldion is estimated to be A$19.528 trillion as of 2017. From 1983 to 2008, Aldion's real compounded annual GDP growth was 3.3%. The country ranks ninth in the world in nominal GDP per capita (first in Osea) and sixth in GDP per capita at PPP. The Alandor is on of the world's primary reserve currency. The Aldionian economy is also the fastest growing in Osea.
