Miencraftic Liberation of Muh Roads

The Miencraftic Liberation of Muh Roads is a war between a coalition of nations led by Miencraft against Dred. The war was declared on the 16th of October, 2017, mere hours after Dreddite forces completed their conquest of the capital of Muh Roads. War was declared in an attempt to liberate the nation from the occupying force.

A day later, Minovdigon declared war on Miencraft - while technically a separate conflict, that war is generally considered to be a part of the Liberation.

The Miencraftic navy arrived on the eastern coast of Muh Roads at 19:42 local time on 18 October, 2017. Jadentopian drones were used to scout locations of Dreddite troops in Roads and Minovdi troops in the Miencraftic countryside.

The Jadentopian air force began a bombing of the eastern Roadsian beaches soon after the Miencraftic navy arrived.

Pevvania joined the war on the Advent side that same night.

A Raterian fleet decimated a Minovdi defensive fleet on 21 October in the Battle of Misovirek Bay as Dreddite and Pevvanian forces made progress in their rampages throughout Ravenshor Island. Meanwhile, a combined Miencraftic and Raterian defense force surrounded and shattered a Minovdi attack force in the Battle of Othrelmor, which ended on the 22nd. Syledsu Ductor was commanding troops in that battle but was able to escape before the Liberation forces had a chance to capture him.

Boes Othan left the war in a white peace on the 22nd of October.

On the 23rd of October, Dreddite forces used chemical weapons against Liberation forces, causing them to go mad and attack anything within sight. Infiltrators also contaminated the water supply in several metropolitan Miencraftic cities with this same chemical.

Raterian marines were forced to retreat from a siege of Misovirek on the 27th as they were outnumbered and lacked a way to return fire they were taking from the defenders.

Miencraftic troops conquered the archduchies of Castaraan and Taar and by the 30th of October had begun sieges in the northernmost cities in the duchy of Talisd.

Czekania joined the war on the Liberation side and Boes Othan joined on the Advent side on the 30th of October.

Boes Othan erupted into rebellion against the ruler, Santa, following the decision to join the war. Santa's forces surrounded the main island of Boes Othan and isolated the residents, promising that "these free thinkers will be cut off from everyone, until they have starved to death."

Emperor Syledsu was captured in battle in Misovirek on the 31st of October. His daughter took control of Minovdigon in his stead. He was brought to court in Ravenshor on charges associated with his previous assault on Miencraft and the assassination of President Scriptorium. A royalist was captured attempting to bomb the Ravenshor courthouse, in what was thought to be an attempt to liberate the Emperor.

Chief Badass XCIX McRussian claimed to have captured Santa Claus on the 31st of October, and the next day he appeared on television alongside a man claiming to be Santa. Santa declared that he decided to resign from leadership and joined the McRussians. The Boes Othanian Shadow Council confirmed these reports the same day and placed Adela Drache in control of Boes Othan.

Miencraftic soldiers intercepted a message from Dred to Minovdigon, expressing the desire to re-capture the Emperor. As a result, Syledsu was relocated to a secret location.

Emperor Syledsu was found guilty and executed on November 4. Later that day, the defenders of the siege of the Imperial Palace surrendered to the assailants, who discovered that Empress Thaara had been overthrown by Archduke Variis Theronolim. Emperor Variis surrendered unconditionally and joined the war on the Liberation side. Thaara and the rest of the Ductor family took refuge in Dred.

On November 8, the capital of Boes Othan fell into Dreddite hands and their leader, Adela Drache, was imprisoned. Rumors from the battlefield describe the Dreddite soldiers as "engineered monsters".

There was a month-long period of unexpected quiet as Advent forces stopped their push forward. Liberation leaders took advantage of this time to fortify their defenses and restock, preparing for an even more brutal invasion than before.

The silence continued throughout December. There was discussion in the legislature of the United States of Patriots regarding whether to join the war, but discussion was interrupted by a bombing at the capitol there on the 5th of December, killing 70 and gravely wounding the President and Vice-President of the USP.

In Ravenshor, President Ralof Luirmes and Emperor Variis Theronolim prepared their countries for the possibility of a massive surprise attack from Dred, and discussed the possibility of the war ending inconclusively should the battlegrounds remain quiet for too long.

The Miencraftic and Minovdi militaries began mobilizing for a defensive operation on December 20th after rumors of Dreddite invasion plans.

Several weeks of continued inaction had President Luirmes and Emperor Variis prepared to terminate the conflict in a white peace early January, even after receiving intel regarding Dreddite plans to strike the Seven Isles.

The war ended in a white peace on the first of February following a complete lack of any action on behalf of the Advent.
