Vote Against GA resolution Ban on Ritual Sacrifice
Resolution Analysis
The resolution does nothing that couldn't be handled under national law, as involuntary sacrifice is basically murder. The resolution also fails to consider the possibility that some religious practices may involve a person voluntarily offering themselves up for the ritual. An outright ban would be religious discrimination in that case.
For these reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote against the resolution.
