Roleplay Rules and Standards [20th Century]

Article I
The RP world operates on a timescale of 3 real-life days to one in character month.

Article II
The current RP setting is a pre-war alt-history world, set in 1908. (Alt History in that you may alter your history whenever you create your nation, as long as it is sensible.)

Article III
Metagaming (The act of using outside knowledge to influence RP) is strictly prohibited.

Article IV
Godmodding (The act of creating an unfair advantage by ignoring actions of other players, by instantly annexing other nations and other such activities) is strictly prohibited.

Article V
One line RPs, or RPs that clearly have no effort put into them, are not permitted, as they degrade the overall value of the regional RP, and provide no constructive input into the roleplay meta.

Article VI
The Discord channel "#diplomacy" can be used to RP diplomatic meetings in real time. The chat will be logged and posted on the RMB as a log of the meeting. This channel will be closed when meetings are not authorised, and nobody except those authorised will be allowed to speak in the channel.

Article I
The Cartographer is picked on a by-need basis, by the moderators, the imperators, or the founder. The Cartographer is given access to the Amnesty cartographer account and is required to update the map at least once a week when a claim is made or an annexation is RPed.

Article II
Max initial claim size is 450,000 km² unless otherwise stated by a moderator, imperator, or the founder. This does not apply when claiming entire nations (France, Germany, etc.)

Article IIa
While you can claim entire nations like France and Germany, despite claim size, the Imperator reserves the right to Veto a full nation claim if they determine that the claim is unfair or too unbalancing to the current map status.

Article III
There is no exact cap on expansion, but an amount of reasonability is key. Moderators will be expected to make sure what is done is reasonable before allowing new annexations.

Article IV
Puppet nations on the map are prohibited unless granted explicit permission from the Founder.

Article V
The point of divergence, meaning the point at which IRL history becomes alt history, is roughly 1856. Nations are not permitted to alter their history beyond this point.

Article I
Technology (through research) may not exceed five years of the techs IRL date. (Ex: You can research to make the M1911, but not the Browning M1919) (You still have to be reasonable, don't make stuff outta nowhere.)

Article II
Any and all technology, numbers, and information must be included within a factbook, or it will not be treated as canon. This includes weapons, army sizes, and general info about your nation.

Article III
A member nation may only remain inactive in RP for two weeks unless a specific reason is TGed to the founder and moderators.

Article VI
If war is declared on a nation, and the nation does not respond within a week, territory will be continually ceded to the attacker until a response is made.

Article V
It's mandatory to tag at least one moderator, as well as Arkhall, when making an RP post.

Article VI
If you annex land by any means, you are reqired to either telegram the cartographer account with the RP annexing, and a link to moderator approval, or send a direct message to the cartographer on Discord.
