Details: The Excalibur-class is a grand development since the Admiral Raktas-class. While the Admiral Raktas has an impressive speed of 30 knots, it is also lightly armored. This follows Ursian naval doctrine, to outrange and out speed an enemy, dealing extreme bursts of damage. However, testing shows that while the Admiral Raktas is impressive, it lacked defense. Now usually this is not a problem, a plane can simply go to the enemy, a carrier is not meant for frontline combat. However, to rely on distance alone is a foolish matter in Ursian thinking, thus the Excalibur-class was born. Able to carry 50 planes into combat, it is also as armored as the regular battleships today. The carrier acts as the "shield" of the navy, along with the still fierce Claymore-class. It's armored deck and sides prove to ward off enemy fighters. To captain this ship is to captain an entire fleet. General speed is 28 knots.
