Great to hear! Thanks for your TG, you can find our map and rules here:

ROLEPLAY RULES
  1. Any nations wishing to join the Blackstar roleplay may complete the application

    • This application is not necessary, but encouraged for newer members to help moderation establish basic worldbuilding.

  2. No nations may use weapons of mass destruction in any form on another player nation.

  3. Nations may declare war on any other player nations that have been on the map for a period of 5 days.

  4. Information must be declared in a Roleplay Post or in a Factbook in order to be canon. Telegram and Discord roleplay may be allowed, but the final outcome (trade, annexation, etc.) must be posted on the RMB.

  5. Nations may not use any information from a post marked as covert (or secret, confidential, etc.) unless they are explicity told this information IC.

  6. GDPs and other economic information should all be written using USD, or the Blackstar equivalent term of BSC. Otherwise, a reasonable exchange rate must be provided and easy to access.

  7. Map claims should be directed to the Cartographer (Current: Ladinacem Andia), and must be reasonable.

    • What is "Reasonable" is defined by the current Roleplay Admins and the Cartographers, and their decisions are final.

  8. Before entering into any period of warfare, nations must have at least one approved factbook with troop numbers and equipment laid out.

  9. Nations may not use unapproved factbooks in their wars, or their post will be voided.

  10. The attacker/winner does not dictate troop loss/territorial loss/victory after a battle, it must be reasonably dictated by the defender/loser or by the Roleplay Admins.

  11. If a nation refuses to comply with the rulings of the Admins, their RP posts/factbooks may be rendered null and void.

    • If a nation continues to refuse to comply, they may be warned. Nations previously warned will be removed from the roleplay pending moderator discussion.

  12. Nations using custom equipment must have at least one approved factbook detailing design and statistics for that piece of equipment.

  13. Nations using IRL military equipment must have at least one factbook detailing which IRL equipment they are using.

  14. Military RP MUST take place on the RMB, any other RP may take place on the Discord server or RMB.

  15. Nations that do not make a valid roleplay post for a period of 3 days will recieve a warning from a Roleplay Admin. They will have four days to post, or they will be removed from the map. This gives players a total of one week to make a valid RP post.

  16. Nations may not go to war with NPCs without the approval of a moderator.

  17. NPC nations will be controlled by a team of moderators and will receive boosts in military ability when fighting a large player nation.

  18. Roleplay posts are generally expected to be over one paragraph in length, whenever possible. Posts are expected to be written using coherent English, following all basic grammar conventions, so that the post can be reasonably interpreted by a Moderator.

    • All military-related posts, including tech development, troop movement, and actual combat, must be both lengthy, wordy, and detailed in nature. Moderators may, at any point, request that a post be redone if it fails to provide the necessary information.

    • Roleplay posts that fail to meet the above stipulations can and will be voided. Posts responding to these may also be voided, depending on the context of the reply.

  19. These rules may be added to, expanded, or removed at the discretion of the Roleplay Admins. Moderators may make rulings that do not necessarily reflect the rules written here.
