2021 Budget and Economy News
This year, the economy rose 6.92% due to large subsidiaries, trade deals, and the influx of exports. This puts the FRGT GDP at $4.283 trillion, one of, if not the highest in the world.

For the past month, the Senate has been in debate with how to allocate the Taggartarian Budget. The total spending is increasing to an unprecedented $1.18 trillion. This money however will be used to further develop the economy, increase welfare programs, and maintain the strongest global military. From 2020, there was a surplus of $148 billion. The senate has decided to use $28 billion to pay some of the nations debt, and the remaining $120 billion to fund various vocational programs, educational assistance, and other welfare programs. The full budget can be found here:

After some discussion, Taggart and I have decided on the rules for the first Wargame, hosted right here in Italy! There will be 6 participants in this wargame, not counting Taggart and myself. Applicants should submit their COMPLETED military factbooks to myself by 11:59 PM (Central Time), on March 2nd (IRL). Winners will be chosen based on the quality of said factbooks.

Winners will send a delegation of a maximum of 10,000 infantry, with the only allows vehicles being unarmed LAVs, Helicopters, and Boats. Absolutely zero live ammunition will be allowed. A coin flip will determine the spot of the nation as a defender or a attacker for the first round of competition. Defenders will be given points across the chosen area that they are to defend until either the end of the time period or the elimination of the other time. Likewise, the Attackers will recon and attack those places, attempting to seize and hold all of them before the time runs out or until they eliminate the enemy.

As of now, applicants are welcome to send their COMPLETED military factbooks to myself for review. Winners will be announced on March 3rd (IRL)! Thank you!

With the hostilities in the Mediterranean, near the ancient island of Rhodes, the TAF will continue to send its 10,000 men for training, but will be sending an additional 7,000 infantry to provide security for the event, since the participants are prohibited from using any live fire. Additionally, we will be sending the carrier, 2 cruisers, and 1 Corvette currently stationed in California to provide security, with the permission of the Italian Military of course.

Welcome to the Federal Republic of Greater Taggart!

The Federal Republic of Greater Taggart is a relatively new nation located in Eastern Asia. It is a huge and prosperous region known for its technological achievements and military might. Remarkable for its social, political, and economical mixture of equality and liberty, the FRGT strives to be the antithesis of its parent Chinese Communist Party to its south. The FRGT is made up of three major branches of government: The Executive or Ministerial, The Legislative or Senatorial, and the Judicial or Imperial. More will be discussed in the History page.

This is the official website for the FRGT and all pertinent information related to Greater taggart. This is only used for Roleplay information for Blackstar and replaces outdated and ugly looking factbooks. Additionally, this website layout better consolidates our many, many dispatches into several large factbooks. In the coming weeks or months, we will be working on streamlining the factbooks and dispatches to be more easily accessed to to public. Please note that due to the nature of the Roleplay and the goal to have most, if not all dispatches available to read for Roleplay enrichment, there will be some documents labeled as covert with this given warning:"This information is highly covert and will only be allowed to be accessed by individuals with the proper clearance. No Nation, Individual, or Organization will be allowed to access these files or the information within without the express permission from the Taggartarian Armed Forces top officials or Prime Minister.". If this, or any other text is labeled as "Covert" it must be treated as such, by the rules of the Roleplay. Nations can still read said factbooks, but are not allowed to use any information within, unless explicitly stated otherwise by us, or the Roleplay moderators.

The FRGT would like to graciously extend its thanks to our close ally and friend to our south, British imperialis for setting up the backbone of our website for us to use and modify to fit our need. Their website designers made it easy and simple for us to use, so we hope that other nations can look at either one of us for examples to add ease and transparency into what is going on in their nation.

Tourism

The Ministry of Culture would like to invite any and all tourists into the Federal Republic of Greater Taggart. Below you can find a list of popular destinations and brief summaries of what they have to offer.

Beijing
Welcome to a capital city whose story goes back at least 3000 years. In Beijing, you'll find a wealth of history, both ancient (the Hall of Preserving Harmony, Summer Palace, Forbidden City) and more recent (Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square). For the best market experience, choose the Dirt Market over the touristy Silk Market. A visit to the Great Wall, the longest manmade structure in the world, is absolutely essential.

Xian
Today the walls of the Ming dynasty and the Tang palace walls hint at the Xi’an’s glorious past. Stare in awe at the Terracotta Army, 7,000 terracotta statues of Qin Bingmayong Bowuguan warriors and soldiers. Dating from 210 BCE, they were discovered in 1974 and are still being excavated. Don't miss the Shaanxi History Museum or a chance to heat up at former imperial bathing spot, Huaqing Hot Springs.

Busan
Busan is Korea's second largest city. Tourists often come to this region to hike and to visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting the Dongbaek Island, or bird watch at the Nakdong river estuary.

Seoul
Seoul is the business and cultural hub of Korea, where skyscrapers tower over Buddhist temples. Take it all in from the N Seoul Tower, built atop a peak in Namsan Park. The teahouses and shops of Insadong give you a taste of Korean flavor, which you can further experience with a visit to the grounds and museums of Gyeongbokgung. UNESCO World Heritage Site Changdeokgung Palace is a fine example of authentic ancient architecture, or visit the UN headquarters to see where top diplomats from around Blackstar to discuss global politics matters.

Maybe? What is the 95 military ships? Also, you still need to provide the details on your equipment. What guns do you use, what tanks, planes, Helicopters, ships, etc. You do not have to list the specific details if you use IRL equipment, but you need to tell us which ones you use. From what I see though, nothing too bad, it just depends on your equipment.

Trazsia

Trazsia will not participate in the upcoming war games due to the Treyan rebellion
The Trazsian army needs every troop and vehicles available to quickly terminate the Treyan threat and it cannot afford to waste valuable time, troops or equipment or leave the city vulnerable, the government apologizes to the other nations of Blackstar in advance
