It appears our isolation has come to an end. The Electric Governor has been seeing delegates coming from other nations to prepare for an international summit. According to the government, you should not be worried that your paradise will be modified by new relations with other nations.
So far, 4 other nations have been identified: Morriband, Comackia, Emargo, and the Paradise Peninsula. We have yet to determine what their modes of governance are.
ComackiaWelcome back to the Imperialist Information Station or IIS! The government has been rocked by sudden news that other nations on the planet wish to meet for an international summit to discuss where our relations will go. This will be the first time in all of Comackian history that we will have to communicate with other intelligent societies. The leaders of the nations have gotten together to try to agree where the meeting should take place, and while most nations agree that they should meet on an internationally neutral island, Cisarovna Catherine has had some issues with that. It is said that she stated, "Our people have been on our own for our whole history and we have only ever known of ourselves. We have only heard about your nations a few weeks ago and you expect me to go on some huge trip to an unknown island with a bunch of people that I know nothing about? Either we have this meeting in our glorious capital of Saint Catherinsburg, where we have had decades of economic and military prosperity, or I must be allowed to bring my own elite bodyguard unit (the Valkyrian Guard) to the meeting."
It remains to be seen how the other nations will react to our Empress' opinion on the location of the meeting, but we all know that the people of our capital city are already getting prepared for having other leaders visit. The citizens started putting out many more flags than usual and a select few have begun organizing a fair to show the culture of the Comackian people. Though, people in the outer lands of the empire have been seen staging protests in outrage that Catherine would even consider meeting with the other leaders, especially if she were to go to a neutral island. Good evening, Morriband. Unity and Peace or War and Chaos? Tonight, we feature a story that's been the buzz around the nation - and even the known world - for a while now: The upcoming world summit. After our forces cleared out a small island in the south, we established it as an international holding. That was a year ago. Today, the leaders of the world have decided to convene on that very island to discuss the future of their nations and our planet as a whole. This era of splendid isolation is over for us all. Chancellor Hayden will be among the heads of state that attend the summit. Whatever happens there, we will have to wait and see. We hope for peace, but are ready for war, in the unfortunate event that it occurs.
Here are your headlines of the night. The new comedy horror film "Teenage Psycho Clown Demon" has reached box office records, with its odd, parody take on the horror genre. The Army Corps of Engineers have finished upgrading the Border Wall which separates our nation from the wilderness beyond. It now features a series of reactive turrets, early warning systems, and upgraded IFF systems. The company GalaxyY has been announced as the contract winner to create a series of new spacecraft for the Space Force. The Navy is stepping up its coastline protection mission to protect and prepare for international trade. The winner of the National Junior Science Fair as been announced. Johnny Stevenson (17, from Bastion) won first prize with his prototype Portal Gun. The GalaxyY CEO, A'aron Stench, has gone on to offer young Johnny an internship in the company's central design lab in Morriband City.

ComackiaWelcome back to the IIS! Today, we have more news on the upcoming international summit. Despite the wishes of Cisarovna Catherine, the summit will be held at the international island. Though our Empress has gotten an opportunity to show what Comackia has. As citizens pack up their stuff from the fair, Catherine's hologram lit up across the capital city. She stated, "The other nations of the world wish to meet in a neutral zone instead of seeing what our cities hold, but Comackia will still show what it has. The Valkyrian Guard will join me in going to the summit along with our latest military technology; we will demonstrate to these sovereign states that we are more than just a land of stitched together cultures. The expertly trained soldiers that guard me and our country will go through a military exercise over there using their signature high-tech swords, shields, and (most importantly) wings along with those new weapons in order to get our point across. After this summit, the world will know that we are more than an empire that can conquer local tribes; they will see us as the empire that has the best soldiers in the world that are ready to lay down their lives for the homeland and for the order of their country."
Cisarovna Catherine has mentioned in the past that she wanted to enlist some of the military to be used as mercenary forces, but she has also shown a wish for growing the empire itself. Is this message a threat to the other nations, a display of Comackian brilliance, or PR to get other forces to pay the government to help bring their wars to a swift end? Time will tell, but we all know that the First Empress will do what is best for the empire.
In other news, the famine in the eastern outerlands has come to an end with the introduction of government-based supplies instead of private-based ones. This has brought the issue of private ownership of businesses and land into the spotlight and the Parliament is debating if the government should be the one making all the economic decisions or not. Along with that, a new breed of dog known as the "Bear dog" has been made. These dogs are, as you can tell by the name, just as big and tough as bears, but also maintain the social bonds that dogs tend to have. Many households (especially in the more rural areas) have already taken some into their families and even the Royal Family has adopted one. The military has even shown interest in using them in military operations. Wouldn't it be incredible to have a nice home dog that can also double as a powerful force of security?! Bedetopia"Display the Rainbow" - Preparations for a military parade are underwayHello Bedetopians. You may have noticed more frequent troop movements in the streets. Nothing to worry about, according to the government they are preparing a military parade for the summit. The Electric Governor especially said that they were going to "Display the Rainbow". But what do these words mean? Let us explain it for you. The Bedetopian Army is notorious for using a wide variety of colors to identify its units based on their specialty. The Blue Soldiers you see in the streets are the most common, using energy weapons and also taking care of law enforcement. But there are also Purple Soldiers who use kinetic weapons for example. Hence, when the government says they are "Displaying the Rainbow", it means they are showing the strength of our army and their wide coverage. When asked about their reasoning, the government said they aim to create an atmosphere of mutual non-aggression to ensure the protection of the nation.
The Electric Dictator is coming to the summit
We have another piece of news regarding the international summit. Our beloved leader, the Electric Dictator Bedebao, said he would be coming to witness the summit. He will be accompanied by the Steak Squad for protection along with plenty of ships and soldiers. After the summit, he is expected to visit various places in the colony to monitor our advancement these past few years.

Good evening, Morriband. A new age is dawning on us. Our Chancellor and delegation have arrived at the first International Summit. Upon arriving, our delegation made our national technological prowess known to the other attendees. There were reports of displays and demonstrations of everything from advanced combat systems to our breakthroughs in medical research. As a gift of goodwill, The Chancellor even gave the other heads of state their own personal holocommunicators - which will be used for future communications after the conference. Now, with the opening ceremonies complete, the time to get down to business has begun. Chancellor Hayden had suggested a defense and economic agreement, which would be open to other nations joining in the future. This would include a mutual defense clause, and a preferential trade agreement.
Here are your headlines of the night. GalaxyY stocks continue to rise as news of the Summit comes out. The online shopping mall company Daintree has announced that it will be beta-testing a new portal-based delivery system to make order fulfillment happen within minutes. Experts say this type of technology would have vast economic benefits, as it would allow for long-distance business to be conducted with no delay. Opponents of the idea, however, say it would be too costly in terms of energy and manpower loss. The Senate and Popular Assembly are having a joint session in the coming days in order to prepare for the possible outcomes of the new international accords. As usual for these types of sessions, the popular assembly is open only to those who have attended at least one session in the past 6 months.

It has been reported that the Valkyrian Guard expertly showed of why they are trusted with being the most elite protectors of the homeland while also displaying how even our common soldiers have the potential to bring in great military might with the use of our great weapons. It has also been said that the leader of the nation known as Morriband gave the Cisarovna a small mobile hologram that has been called a "holocommunicator", perhaps she plans on calling her best buds using that personally? Either way, our leader is still very impressed with what the other nations had to offer despite the early confrontations.
To further emphasize that, Cisarovna Catherine agreed with Morriband and Chancellor Hayden for once. The foreign leader proposed a defensive and economic pact that would be open to other nations to join in the future. Cisarovna Catherine has stated, "Even the Imperial Empire must agree that the world is a dangerous place and, as long as other sovereign states remain respectful and honest, deserve independence just as much as us. We may support helping others in wars even if they have nothing to do with us, but that is a two-way road. Yes, people can use our mercenaries for bad, but they are there to protect too. Only through being united can we fully establish that the nations remain sovereign and that we continue life as our founders wanted us to."
With other news, the Comackian military has gone into its third official war game in its history. The air force, navy, army, and special forces have all started exercise on north-western area of the empire. The reason behind the exercise is unknown, but it is speculated to be Catherine's first warning to the uncolonized land on the continent that Comackian forces will soon be rolling them over just as they did a few decades ago.
