Welcome to our new members! I am still in the process of crafting a new welcome message, so you still might have received the old one from last year. We had around 70 new arrivals in the past 3 months, which is just about our average rate for most of 2020, but our staying percentage seems to need some more work. This is by far our largest single promotion event yet, and we hope to further expand membership soon. From an inaugural membership of 15, we now have enlisted 38. A new division will be created once we further increase our operational capacity, but certainly PEFToN is already part of the overseas missions we have been conducting recently. Member nations, I am currently mulling to have the third edition of our Philippine Olympics in commemoration of our 10th anniversary. Last time we featured major Filipino sports such as basketball. How about we feature other emerging sports such as football? We can organize the teams now and have a speedy implementation with simulators. Need not to be a grand revival, just for fun of the occasion.

Count me in commander. I would also like to announce that PEFToN will be holding war games in conjunction with the EDSA People Power commemoration from February 22 to 25 of 2021. Other interested parties could pronounce their intent to be included in the roster. This is just a simple demonstration of the ready power for peace that Ariusgrad has espoused for so long in this region's history. Kalayaan War Games are up and going next week. Declaration of Formation: Philippine Council of Affiliated Regions and Institutions
In recognition of the existing Philippine community in NationStates, the following regions and institutions have the agreement and mutual understanding to unite their energies in nurturing and promoting the Filipino agenda for the betterment and well-being of our member nations:
Philippines - founded 2003
The Philippines - founded 2013
The Socialist States of the Philippines - founded 2015
Republic of the Philippines - founded 2017
Philippines polomolok treatise - founded 2017
Manila - founded 2017
Philippines for Jesus Movement - founded 2021
The Remiferian Armed Forces* - founded 2020
Philippine Defense Force (PDF) - formed 2020
Philippine Expeditionary Force to the Nations (PEFToN) - formed 2021
In consideration of this formal declaration of affiliation as the Philippine Council of Affiliated Regions and Institutions (PCARI), the aforementioned regions and institutions have resolved the following:
1. The lead shall be the regional government of the Philippines, as being the largest and the historical pioneer of creating a platform for the community in NationStates, whereas collective actions using the Filipino theme must be brought to the council, subject to the lead's approval.
2. Regional and institutional autonomy shall remain to be respected. Thus, unilateral and unwarranted actions that may affect the image and reputation of the Philippine community in NationStates shall entail the exclusion of the rest of the council members from responsibility.
3. Notwithstanding the event that such individual actions shall not mean the general will of council members, the council may act decisively to prevent and resolve similar incidents in the future.
4. Prospective members shall have to undergo council lead approval within a reasonable amount of time. Membership shall mean having a conference with mutual council members towards further cooperation and coordination for solidarity, sustainability, and anticipatory governance without prejudice to regional and institutional sovereignty.
5. This council declaration may be revised or revoked as seen necessary by prevailing circumstances.

Congratulations. The East Pacific has agreed to have a consulate with the Philippines. The two regions used to maintain embassies from 2017-2018. Hopefully this is one step forward in raising our international profile in the NS world.

New Clark City, Philippines: As if by auspicious purposes, Luzon need not to face the wrath of a powerful tropical storm which had disintegrated into a low pressure area on this day, February 22, 2021. And so, the 3rd edition of the Philippine Olympics meets a peaceful, if not chilly, inauguration with what seemed to be the largest yet in regional history. The regional meet, first held in July 2013, had always been conducted primarily in commemoration of the Philippines anniversary as a refounded region in NationStates through the initiative of Delegate and President Ariusgrad.

The Luzvimindan Islands, and 
United Adaikes were raring to go participate in two major events of the Philippine Olympics. One is basketball, the regional meet's mainstay since the first edition, and the other is football, a new addition this year to stress the growing interest of Filipinos to the sport of international acclaim.
Excited crowds, properly observing physical distancing and wearing of face masks, join the millions watching from the comfort of their homes to welcome the Olympics. In its opening address, Ariusgrad expressed hope that the latest iteration highlighting the sportive tradition of the region will be a means towards unity and solidarity between members and non-members alike.
