Aboard Brightstar (Thor Class Warstar)
Personal Log Battlemaster Palakwi

Our visit to Three Star Station, was interesting. It was clear to see the the dynamics of the station was in flux with the former rulers of the station seeking to re-establish their control whilst the KCR Alliance was seeking to tighten their grip. We spoke to a Klingon Commander there who was abrupt and was what i have learnt to have the mannerism of a typical Klingon but there was a sense of annoyance and and under current of concern regarding our visit. It could have been because the Klingon recognised my lightsaber or it could have simply been that our ship was in the system and could be a prelude to something else.

My feelings on the matter are mixed, i dont think it is good for the Star Empire to allow the KCR Alliance to expand in this manner. But conversely given the history of that station in particular, i think letting them sort out that mess... would be beneficial for us.

Upon my arrival back onboard the Brightstar i learnt that one of our order was attacked by an unknown assailant, who knew our ways and how to use a Lightsaber. This is concerning for a number of reasons. One it could be that a rival organisation has been around for a while or is now. Two someone has decided to leave our order and is now a mercenary or and perhaps the most concerning is that this is someone from a different organisation or order outside of the Star Empire. I guess once we get to Minbari we and drop off our new representative to the Solar Alliance i can return to the Star Empire and help look into events.

New Warbird sent to investigate missing Freighter

It was reported on the Holonet that the Freighter ship Zealand disappeared, in an unknow system on a routine trade run to Inwitt colony when it issued a distress signal that was cut off before anything substantial could be gained. Following receiving the signal Black & Smith Limited the owner of the ship requested both Parakkan and Inwitt government assistance in finding their missing ship.

In response to this the Inwitt Government has dispatched a squadron to investigate the disappearance, whilst the Parakkan Government has decided to send its New Warbird Class Battlestar, Lightning to join the investigation. It is our understanding that the disappearance happened not far away from Three Star Station which is currently held by Triwen government. It is not know if the KCR Alliance has been requested to help in the investigation.

A spokesman from Black & Smith Limited said "We are confident that our missing ship well be found and hopefully with all hands alive and well. Its our hope this is just a simple malfunction. To ensure, if this was indeed a malfunction doesnt happen again we are upgrading all communications equipment within our ships." Whilst this did help increase their share prices by 1% it still has fallen by a total of 8% since the loss of the ship.

Unknown location on Kuthian

It had taken much of my skill to get away from Titus, he was perhaps the best Talon in centuries next to their Grandmaster who i discounted as the Elves always seem to have a natural ability with the Force making them more apt with it. Yet Titus had been determined, in his pursuit of me. He even found one of my safe houses and that had been a close encounter.

Yet here i was in the forests of Kuthian, maintaining a low profile, i had seen three ships fly over head since my arrival in the forest. I suspected that the Talons knew i was here somewhere and where either trying to do scans of the area or using the force trying to find me that way. Yet i had planned for this, i had taken my speeder into a cave lined with natural minerals that would prevent ship scans, all i had to do was keep my force presence low for the next few days till they gave up looking for me. If not i would take my chances in the forest and try to get to the abandoned mining facility 5 miles away where i had a working communication system to inform my master that things had not gone to plan... if that message needed to be sent i knew i wouldnt have long left before the Talons found me and we would fight till the end.

Enclave Broadcasting Service

With the Zeeland freighter having gone missing on the route towards a Frontier colony in territory that the Enclave sees as theirs. With the news that the Parakkan goverment has sent a warbird out to investigate. In response, the Enclave goverment has voiced strong opposition and has sent a squadron to intercept the warbird before it will enter the Enclave system.

With the freighter having gone missing the squadron that has been sent is still investigating and in its latest response have not found anything new. However it has been made clear that the Frontier sector has been put on temporary lockdown and local militia are ordered to mobilize.

Capital news

Today it has been announced by the Enclave Expansionary Fleet her colonization arm that recruitment for expedition 328 has started. This expedition will see a fleet of around 250 ships move into the unknown to settle the region and claim it for the Enclave and develop it. So far 2 million people have applied but with this announcement, its hoped that the goal of 10 million will be reached quicker.

Communication to 3 Star Station

"Commander Kehim Nirra, i want you to send one Galor class from your station fleet to these coordinates..."

*Commander Kehim Nirra looked down at the location as the voice continued*

"... This system is where the Parakkan Zeeland freighter has gone missing, it is 2 light years from Inwitt territory, at Warp 5 would take just over three days to reach. From your current location we estimate at Warp 8 it would take you just over two days to arrive at the destination."

I looked at the information and replied "Inwitt and the Parakkans have both sent ships to investigate, wouldn't it be wise to let them deal with the issue." the voice replied "Normally, i would agree but i do not wish for either side to blame us for this this mess, if they turn the ship around then fine, but the Ship Commander is to be made aware that he is to support both nations in the investigation."

"Understood, i will inform Rinih Jalit of your orders immediately." i closed the com link and then called Rinih to inform her of her next mission.

Frontier territory
Planet of Taros

A group of 3 soldiers sat in their patrol craft as it sped over the ocean world. Taros was a world that laid on the frontier and was near the system that the Zeeland disappeared in. Its population was around 12 million and most lived upon the small island group on the southern side of the planet, there a large so-called floating city had emerged where a majority of the population lived and worked from. While the remainder lived underwater in the large underwater mines that had valuable minerals and ever since their discovery 100 years ago development of the mines has been a priority of the planetary governor. This has led to large domes being constructed over the mines as well as forcefields to keep out the water, those required a large amount of power due to the insane pressure of a planet that was massive. Food was provided in Algi farms that were spread around the main city, Talos primus, as well as the local native fish, live adding variety to the diet of the colonists. That local colonist was a varied bunch they were not the Inwitt elite or the Taung which made up the upper society and upper classes of Enclave society, these were Humans, Twileks, even some Gands. The Taung did not care much for them and ruled the colony rather loosely however 6 years ago there had been a rebellion by the second city of Taros. A city that was n the eastern part and built on a large island chain and that mined the valuable Colloid alloys. Those rebels were Humans, Twileks, and other species they wanted better working rights and it was not an armed rebellion, yet the governor a Taung send a group of 1000 Crusaders and within 3 days the entire city of 520.000 inhabitants was burned to the ground and its rebellious population slaughtered. Since then life had continued but now everyone knew the firm grip of the Enclaves. Yet those 3 soldiers were still killed by fast-moving rebels on boats.

Yet that was not why the world was really worth noting what really was interesting about it was the large orbital sensor station that had been built on the Darkside of the planets moon, to have a little radio or other interferences. It was this that made the system of any value and it was this relay system that had seen what had happened to the Zeeland and noted the Parakkan ships moving closer within range. This data had let to a Wolfpac (a group of 5 ships) to be dispatched to intercept the Parakkan navy group. This group was led by Jaster Bevinn the captain of the EEFS Spirit of Vengeance a Securer class heavy frigate, at the head of 3 frigates and 1 artillery cruiser.

Jaster looked through the glass, which was in reality metal but the camera’s on the outside gave the perception that it was transpirant. He watched as the ship existed in hyperspace and came in the system where it was known parakkan sensors could pick up the message or well rather the statement.

To all Parakkan ships you are entering Enclave territory please lower your shields, weapons and prepare for boarding or withdrawal from this system back to your own system.

Jaster who had to send the message himself knew that it would likely not help and thus he had ordered 3 ships of his to be ready to jump onto the Parakkan ships should they refuse and continue their heading.

I sat in my chain having received the message and thought to myself (bloody cheek) however I knew I couldn't say anything, command had been very clear not to start a war here unless necessary. Seemed that feeling didn't apply to the Inwitt ships. "Ensign open a channel", a second lader the ensign replied "channel open". I took a breath then said "Greetings this is the Parakkan Warbird Battlestar Lightning. We come in peace, seeking to investigate the disappearance of a missing civilian ship. That being said we do not recognise your claim on this system and as such are unable to comply with your demand." With that i gave the signal to close the channel and said to the crew in "set condition 1 throught the ship, should things get hairy prepare jump out of the system."

"Viper wings 1 throw to 8 ready to launch " said a voice to my right. Then anouther voice shouted "Sir a ship KCR Alliance (Triwen) has entered the system. They are sending a simular message to us. Though they are powering up weapons and defences."

"Understood, helm put some distance between us and any ship that seem to be closing in on us. Then open a channel and let's see if we can desculate the current situation here."

I look on the scanners and could see the KCR ship holding at one location and us at anouther with our fighters launched and ready. Still the Inwitt ships seemed to continue closing. We got the acknowledgement from the KCR ship indicating they were willing to talk. I turned and said " send a signal to command and the Solar Alliance informing them of this situation here and now."

The galactic covenant

“We’re exiting hyperspace at the last known coordinates.”

“Excellent.” The captain replied.

As the Scout ship exited hyperspace, roughly five parsecs rimward from the Calth System, they came upon empty space. Not even an asteroid colony in sight. The ship had been sent ahead of the search fleet which was looking for the B&S Freighter which had gone missing the previous cycle. The captain on the scout ship sat back, almost disappointed they did not immediately find the missing freight ship torn to pieces.

“Initiate a scan. Search for any signs of life or a distress beacon.” The captain ordered.

“Yes ma’am.” The pilot answered.

The scout ship scanned the local area, looking for any reading or any indication of an artificial object. In the first few minutes, there seemed to be nothing. The crew went about their work and the captain looked over them, hoping to find anything.

“How does a ship just up and disappear like that?” Another of the pilots rhetorically asked.

The Bridge Lieutenant jumped in: “I heard, you know, that there are spots near the inner rim where this sort of stuff happens. A freight captain once told me he was following one of the inner rim, unstable lanes, and they entered this section where they saw a bunch of weird crap, and when they came out, they were all the by the core. And get this, when they returned to base, they were told they had been gone for literal ye-“

“That’s enough tall-tales you two.” The captain scolded, as the storytelling pilot chuckled.

“Ma’am, I’ve got a reading.” The pilot said. “Something is coming out of hyperspace.”

The Captain looked through the observation windows, and there before her, several vessels indeed emerged from hyperspace. There were six of them. They were oblong and ovular, with a blueish, purplish, metallic color. There were unlike any ships the Captain had seen in her years of service in the states of the Solar Alliance. Immediately at least, they had only emerged from hyperspace. While it was deeply concerning, the Captain ordered that first-contact protocols be immediately initiated.

“Dispatch radio frequency transmissions. Follow the guidelines and remain alert everyone. Inform the rest of the fleet we made contact” The Captain ordered.

The crew dispatched the usual contact-initiation message to the odd visitors, which had so far not done anything other than hover since their emergence. The message was sent and for a time there was silence. The crew of the scout ship was exuberant but also scared. First contact with an advanced, foreign civilization had not occurred several millennia. The excitement began to fade as seconds turned into minutes, and minutes became more minutes. The silence suffocated the crew as they waited with anticipation for a response. A bead of sweat dripped down the Captain’s forehead. Her grip on the pilot’s chair tightened. Just as she readied to order a resend, the screens on the bridge illuminated, signaling a response was received. The captain sighed.

“Open it.” She said with a smile of relief as the bridge cheered. The pilot decoded the message, written in their native language. Quickly, her joyous face evaporated as she read the reply.

”Your destruction is the will of the Gods, and we are their instrument.”

The Captain’s eyes widened as she read it.

“Battle stations!” The Captain ordered. The crew scrambled to their positions, while the ships in front of them began charging their plasma weapons. Before the captain could order an evasive maneuver, the foreign ships fired their canons. Six projectiles fully concentrated onto the scout ship pierced and eliminated the shields almost immediately. Within the blink of an eye, the scout ship was eliminated. With the act done, the mysterious ships jumped once more to hyperspace, disappearing into the cosmos.

EEFS Spirit of Vengeance

Sir they have launched fighters, one voice said as the other began to put the ship on high alert per standard protocol. They had all listened to the message and Jaster grinned a good battle was to come that was for sure but he did have orders.

"This is the EEFS Spirit of Vengeance we once again order you to lower down your weapons and recall your fighters you are within territory claimed by the Inwitt Enclaves. Should you fail to comply appropriate action will be undertaken"

As he said that and the channel closed. Jaster walked to his chair and looked over the data it was going to be interesting he had read intelligence reports upon the Star Empire they were a powerful foe, yet he was confident in his crew. He looked at his hand as the ships of his wolfpack were put on battle modus, deep down he hoped for a fight frontier patrols were boring and he was a Taung and those Pink skins looked like those who drove off their ancestors in legends, revenge would always be sweet, yet he had to wait for their reaction.

POV Viper Pilot Sefron

"Vipers prepare for action." said the voice from over the com then the message was sent again to the foreign vessels "This is the Parakkan Warbird Battlestar Lightning. We come in peace, seeking to investigate the disappearance of a missing civilian ship. We will not fire first but will defend ourselves if attacked" said the voice of one of the bridge officers. I noticed the KCR Alliance vessel was holding its position seemingly eyeing up the situation. In the background i could here various viper pilots chattering, waiting to see what scans picked up.

At that moment three ships emerged from Hyperspace taking up flanking positions to the Battlestar. instantly a voice came over the coms "All vipers are recalled. We have been informed to hand the situation over to the Toasters." As i turned round to head home i saw the ships properly for the first time, One was the shape of two sources jointed together in the middle with the other two looking like cruisers.

The second we landed the alarm went off to signal the jump to hyperspace.

In the Palace

I walked back to my quarters, it had been a nice evening until the the report arrived that there was a possibly going to be a battle in unclaimed territory. Given the situation was over a civilian freighter Luke wasn't best pleased that the search for a simple freighter was causing this much mess. As a result he had ordered the deployment of the a small part of the Cylon Fleet to be sent to the situation. Given how experimental the Cylons are it was an interesting move. Though he rationalised it at the time by saying at least he wasn't risking Parakkan lives on the issue. Plus the technology used in Cylon ship construction would mean that should they suffer heavy damage and were to be captured they would be atomised by the self destruction mechanism build into the ships.

As i walked along the corridor and opened my room i thought about some of the advances that had come back as a result of the Cylon Creation. For example the hardened organic matter hulls that had been invented that would over time self repair themselves. All information from the test results were promising. I sat on the bed and started to get undressed. I knew Luke wouldn't risk war for one civilian ship but then again an opportunity to test this new tech was something i dont think the military and as a result him could pass up.

NOTE - Cylons are ships are new and shouldnt be known by anyone

POV Jaster
Jaster looked at the ships that had just entered the system on the screen, he grinned it seemed the pink skins had some tricks up their sleeves. Initial scans showed that they heavily armed, armed enough he presumed that the fighters launched would retreat back to their ship. He looked to a bridge officer which was going over the data that had been gathered, it would automatically send all data that was gathered back to a central system.

"Sir ships have jumped out we are alone with those big ships they do not appear in the database we are facing unknowns... three unknown ships on the edge of weapon range our ships have not yet jumped in what are your orders?"

Jaster stood there for a moment looking at the image of the ships and seeing all the scans that were happening over and over and over again. They had a general Jump trajectory of the ships that jumped away, however finding them would almost be useless, all they could do was overlap trajectory with known Parakkan planets but it would be suicide.

"Send the data towards local command now and request reinforcements..."

The ensigns began working on those orders and Jaster thought of the situation at hand it was not a good one they were likely outgunned and even if those ships jumped in to attack the larger ships it would likely be suicide and would start a war. Yet retreating was no option as it would give the Star empire reasons to assume the Enclave was weak which would likely lead to war the pink skins would die soon enough like the Xeno scum they where. Something that he thought might be good but not preferred now.

He walked to the command room and opened up a full holographic display, he was just one frigate, sure 2 frigates backed him and 2 could be called in quickly but he would not risk it like that. His second in command walked to him as he looked at the system-wide map and more importantly the reinforcements that would arrive.

"We wait and see open up a channel to that Frackers." His first officer nodded and opened up the channel with the 3D scan of the ships becoming more and more detailed with the second it seemed.

"This is Captain Bavinn of the EEFS spirit of vengeance this is your final warning remove yourself from this system or grave consequences will follow."

He looked ahead unsure of what was to come but he did not fully like it one bit. It was in that moment that a room went black and a hologram appeared of the lord-Admiral. Everyone in the command center immediately went to attention "Long life the crusade" everyone said in unison. He was unsure of what she was calling in for.

"Orders are simple to watch it high command wants these ship her capabilities known if war breaks the crusade will continue." With that, the holographic display disappeared and the room went back to its normal hue.

Inwitt primus
Orbital ring Imperial shipyards

A woman looked out over the massive ship that laid in space-dock, it was massive in its size and parts of it still was being constructed with the automated construction systems working around the clock while in some sections force fields where installed as the more advanced systems where emplaced. The woman in question watched it all from the observer section of the shipyard she as a lord of the enclaves had the benefit of having the rank and status to see in the Shipyards, which normally were restricted to outside personnel. She had been watching for the past hour as the ship was constructed, according to the reports the thrusters had been installed and the weapon guidance drives had been installed as well. She grinned at it all this would be her ship and when it was commissioned in 3 months she would lead her fleet as she had in the Swarm Wars.

She was not alone and from the observation room several other high-ranking enclave officials were watching and engineers were monitoring the situation. The room was luxurious and stately as was expected of a room that would house lords. The lights were soft but then the lights suddenly turned gold and the holographic window shutdown. She turned around and saw all of the high lords stand in salute, the salute of the enclave, she quickly did so as well standing at a salute and silent and frozen. A man walked in flanked by two dark robbed guards a man wearing golden armor and his tall stature of nearly 12 feet made him clear to be just one person. The lord commander himself and all within the room at once said

Long live the encalve

The tall figure signed all of them to stand down and all in the room bowed down with their eyes to the ground. The tall figure looked at the room and then upon the woman in question, who seemed small by comparison to the hulking figure. It was silent for a moment nobody dared to say a word to the lord-commander of the enclave. The lord commander had ruled for nearly 23 years and had reformed the empire after the swarm wars to make it more efficient and far more powerful.

Leave us

The lord commander said in a booming deep voice the voice that made anyone inclined to agree, a voice that spoke of power yet no arrogance a voice that was the authority of the Enclaves. Everyone gave the salute and left all except her, she stood there still silent and still standing tall. As the room emptied and the guards moved outside to stand on the entrance of the door. She still stood there but now was less tense as she had an idea of what was to come.

There has been a situation on the frontier northwest… I want you to take control of the situation and if needed strike upon the Parakkans.

She nodded and grinned then, she knew why the guards where outside of the room she knew what he wanted. He might be the lord commander but he was still an Inwitt male and they always wanted something that she had.

---

When she left the shipyards 3 days later she stood aboard an Eternal crusade class battleship at the center of a fleet of nearly 43 warships and 20 support ships, 5 carriers, and 6 wings of fighters. Their goal was a simple strike at the parakkan empire should they not retreat. She was exhausted, those three days were hard and there was a lot of physical activity, doing it with a 12 foot Taung did that to someone she supposed. Yet now she was underway to make a name for herself and continue the eternal crusade.

The galactic covenant

Covenant Capital City of High Charity,
Somewhere in Unexplored Space

In a long throne room, whispering voices were assembled. On each side of the room there were assembly benches, not unlike seating for jurors, in which the Councilors sat. On the left were the Councilors of the Sanghelli, the Covenant's chief warrior species. On the right, the San'Shyuum, the lead governing species of the covenant. At the forefront of the room, upon a raised alter, hovered the three Hierarchs, the Prophets, the holy and devout leaders of the Covenant. They sat upon their gravity thrones, heavy crowns of precious metals upon their heads. Before them on a platform in the room's center stood a Sanghelli commander in yellow armor, addressing the High Council on disturbing recent events.

"How many ships have you encountered so far?" The Prophet of Tolerance, sat at the left, asked.

"Only two, your holiness. Both small and relatively defenseless. Not anywhere the true military capabilities of these civilizations." The Sanghelli Commander, Hal'Injerum, answered.

"What else have you discovered of these pagans?" The Prophet of Restraint, seated at the middle of the Hierarchs, asked.

"There are multiple, different civilizations all in interaction with one another, at least four that we know of, possibly more. They are each advanced enough to control multiple star systems, some many systems, with entire galactic sections under their direct influence." Hal'Injerum replied.

"They are divided?" The Prophet of Obligation, seated at the right, questioned.

"Yes Holy One, and some in direct conflict with one another." Hal'Injerum answered.

"Then they are weak." The Prophet of Tolerance said.

"I can make no assumptions of their power, the technological prowess at their disposal, or their tactics in battle. I shall have to face them with caution." Hal'Injerum said.

"Withhold no resource or effort in their destruction. Every one of them." The Prophet of Restraint dictated.

"They are a threat to the Great Journey, their very existence endangers the sacred path." The Prophet of Tolerance added.

"Even if they possess our lords' creations, destroy their civilizations. Bombard their planets with Plasma. Take what you can from their filthy hands." The Prophet of Obligation ordered.

"Arbiter..." The Prophet of Restraint interjected. A Sanghelli of abnormally large height, clad in silver armor with unique patterns all over it, stepped forward from the Prophets' side. "Follow the Commander into battle. Wage fierce retribution upon these infidels. You shall have no mercy in your quest." The Prophet of Restraint said. In response, the Arbiter knelt and replied, "Yes Holy ones. I shall dispatch with them quickly." The Arbiter then stood and walked toward the room's exit, nodding at the Commander who also began to leave.

The Covenant fleet began to assemble that same rotation.

World of Toros
Toros primus

The once-thriving capital city was now a husk of itself, the oceans of Toros which were once filled with its lush life under the ocean, while underneath the mines that fueled the planet’s economy were stationed and the people mined. It was a harsh life in some cases but it was a life that had peace and security. Yet that was in the past now the oceans were filled with the corpses of the death. The island city of Nevura was the last revel stronghold that was remaining of the once planetary rebellion.

The rebel city had some 700.000 inhabitants and was walled and had basic defense cannons for local defense against asteroids that were common in the region, due to the weaker atmosphere in the region. These cannons were now turned against the planetary authorities and together with the rest of the planet it had rebelled against the Taung. They had killed the local garrison and even taken control of the orbital defense grid they had for a brief moment enjoyed peace and freedom. Then the enclaves send their response a force of just one ship. One dominion class star destroyed that did nothing. As a matter of fact, the ship did nothing, thus the ground control crews fearing what was to come opened the orbital defense grid upon the Dominion class ship. They fired their missiles, then their lasers, and then the heavy masers. All within one section all focused upon the ship and then the ship for a brief moment disappeared from the radar screen. It was then that the ground crew cheered with joy until one orbital defense point after the other went down then within less then 3 minutes all of the orbital defense grids went down. Everyone in Toros city dreaded what was to come, they alerted all of the scattered ocean and underwater cities of what was to come.

Three hours later Toros city her shields were down, her defense systems destroyed and all her people died, except the children were dead. The mines under the city were at that moment nothing. Within 3 days all that the city of Nevura was hearing were screams of pain and suffering and then the bodies started to float up, bodies of miners, bodies of those who rested all floated up. thousands upon thousands floated up, the defenders of the city quickly put their children and those who could not fight underwater in the mines and habitats and locked them off hoping that they could resist. Yet it was all hopeless as when night came and the defenders stood ready explosions started going off and the butchering began.

Taung Crusaders moved into the city started killing started fighting, blood began to be seen across all the streets. The warriors in their armor its spikes and with their glowing dark red T-shaped visors started attacking the soldiers, they were fighting screams became louder and louder, buildings were burning to explode the fighting was not even always with blasters. They were burned down, killed with Vibro blades, implied split apart by the Taung their own claws. Blood was quickly flowing through the streets as the unknown number of Crusaders were butchering this rebellious city with little to no mercy at all.

Wovark Wroll was a crusader a member of clan Wroll he had landed on Toros city took part in the fighting bloody fighting and he enjoyed every second of it. Just like now as he shot down a rebellious soldier in the head, before ducking and shooting his wrist missiles penetrating 12 others and exploring their bodies. The blood spreading over the walls with their bones falling down. His HUD had identified 6 more targets and he charged towards them his vibro blades extended and he charged into them. There was nothing left once he was done with them and there he waited. He then got a message on the central battle net

To all Crusaders all has been fought return to the ship we have been assembled by the Duchess.

Wovark looked up and did see the outline of an Eternal-Crusade class battlecruiser in low orbit. He watched as a transport ship descended and landed in the central square and he walked towards it. At that moment he heard a grunt of a survivor and he simply stepped up the man’s skull while walking towards the transport. He walked in the transport together with 7 others all of them equally bloody. The ship went onwards towards the hangar of the Eternal-Crusade class. He waited when the doors opened once again this time all Crusaders sprung to attention as the Duchess stood there with her honor guard. All crusaders sprung at attention and said “Long live the Enclave

It was sure to become an interesting journey Wovark thought.

Inwitt wrote:POV Jaster

"Orders are simple to watch it high command wants these ship her capabilities known if war breaks the crusade will continue." With that, the holographic display disappeared and the room went back to its normal hue.

onboard the Cylon Basestar

I had been assigned to oversea the cylon deployment, yet other than two techs i was the only military observer here. In a way watching them was a thing of military precision they fulfilled any role required without complaint and with complete efficiency. Yet something about it all was quite eery and left me with a feeling of dread. I had read the reports of a couple of the more higher functioning command Cylons going rouge and taking over control of the colons under there control and then destroying all living things in the facility. Yet still command pursued the Cylon initiative with vigour and with the focus of improving the Command Cylons to negate the need for living commanders.

"Enemy forces closing in" said a robotic voice from one of the Cylons. "Understood, position the support ships to our 10 and 2 o'clock positions and launch raiders, we will engage the enemy if they open fire, but will withdraw before we suffer any real damage or suffer to many raider losses. Indeed should numbers become unfavorable we will also withdraw." The centurion looked at me unmoving with the red light that acted as an eye going from left to right then replied "By your command" then turned and walked back to his station relaying the orders.

As I watch our forces array themselves I called over and said "when we jump out of here make it to a neutral system and then jump to a few others before we make our way home. We don't want to give the game away just yet" again "by your command" was the response I received. As I watched it wasnt supprising that that the Inwitt forces opened fire, we hadn't exactly responded to their comms. Whilst some raiders where blown up by their bigger guns the support ships where able to inflict damage on their support craft whilst the remaining raiders where concentrating on their main ship. In general the battle was quite even at this moment in time though I was confident that it would go our way. "Hostile reinforcements entering the system" said voice from one of the stations. "Full withdrawal, recall all fighters and withdrawal" I replied calmly despite sensors showing more and more hostile ships popping into the system "by your command" came the reply. Less than 30 seconds later we were out of the system making jump after jump making sure we were not being followed.

Jaster looked at the data they were the hit and around him, people were yelling reports and the 3D display. There were reports coming in of hull breaches and then calls for confirmed hits by their point defence systems. He looked ahead of him and he was surprised by the way that enemy craft operated they where to synchronized to be organics that was for sure, sensor readings also indicated little in the way of organic signals. The battle all by all while intense was not going one way or another.

Space

While raiders were attacking the ships, with the ships firing back at the larger enemy ships, the ship's point defence systems taking down Raiders it was still despite all of that silence for in space there was no sound. It was chaotic deadly and intense with the Crusader ships moving to try and separate the large Star empire warships, they simply where to large to take out while they were close together, slowly but surely however the battle seemed to turn in the Star empires favour with their superior numbers and large ships supporting them. More damage reports came into the bridges of the EEF ships, shields lowering due to the sheer kinetic power, more kills but seemingly nothing to stop them.

In that moment however from hyperspace a massive warship came out and from it in an instant missile, laser fire, plasma, and railguns all where fired upon the enemy ships. The massive ships where Eternal-Crusader class battleships and in it stood the Duchess who ordered for no mercy to be shown and stood on the bridge, she watched as the ships began hitting the enemy ships and causing some hull damage on the ship itself, however as soon as they came the star empire ships jumped away.

"Follow them now"

She ordered and 1 frigate detached and jumped in the direction of the Star empire ships. While the rest per the prior orders began to jump away once again towards their next destination the fringe of the star empire. This was a battle this was an open attack by the Star empire upon Enclaves she thought, "They must be insane" she said to herself as she walked of the bridge towards her quarters..

The democratic soviet union

Core world of Iax
Local EEF command

Iax a core world or capital system of a local sector of the Enclaves, it was a world that was lush with greenery with a giant orbital ring that where ships where coming and leaving, with the other planets in the system is either gas giants or ocean worlds the world of Iax was at the center of a powerful system-wide economy that was known for its production of goods scientific advancement and foods. Through the system, orbital ring farms could be found around the moons of the gas giants lighted by orbital mirrors and other such things. While the world itself was a paradise world with cities spread through it. While those cities in total housed some 739 Billion residents they were far and few but immense in their size and in their level of technology. This world and system were settled by those Taung that saught to explore the artistic sides of their race and it was a system dedicated to art, while still having the Taung militaristic nature.

It in a section of the orbital ring that the EEF had her regional command-based, it was a true fortress within the fortress that was the orbital ring. Inside the complex construction were various military officers going from one place to another, while ensigns were coordinating larger fleet movements and the general traffic in the area. At the center of it all was the Legatus his office where the Legatus was currently overseeing a movement of various goods and reading the reports from the settler fleet. He was smoking a cigar and enjoying the day, he was a Taung that had worked his way up in the civil service and was a competent administrator something that made him quite secure in his positions as part of being a militaristic society it also meant one valued effective governance above all else. It was then that the room went dark and a hologram appeared and the Legatus jumped up and gave the Salute.

“[i[Long life the Enclave[/i]”

In front of him stood the hologram of the lord commander himself, a 12-foot behemoth with his Crusader armour and the mask that signified his position. The Legatus remained silent and waited for the Lord-Commander to speak. He was not sure what to think, he knew the lord commander was a fierce battlefield commander, shrew politician, and most important of all an effective administrator.

You are to recall the fleet send to the fringe of the star empire while starting a large scale mobilization of your forces. Mobilize the frontier forces and deploy the EEF towards the predesignated spots and lock of outside travel on major hyperlanes per Protocol-0023

With that, the hologram disappeared the Legatus started to sweat but he had his orders and then the files started to come in for the reasons for the orders. He read through them and after 3 hours he had finished and quickly began issuing the orders of the lord commander in mass this was too important. Thus as he issued the orders the signal was sent and across the major hyperspace lanes that led into Enclave, several so-called gravity fields were generated thus basically making their use null, around those generators. It was a trick they had learned in the swarm wars to negate the enemy’s immediate response time make sure that his charts are useless. Then the fleets across Iax space began mobilizing and the call to the clans was made.

Frontier regions, wildspace
Bastion class carrier, EEFS Iaxian

Commodore Tholrut Crart stood in the command center of the Laxian and looked over the holographic displays in front of him, he and the ship itself had made constant jumps together with 17 other warships chasing the Star Empire fleet but to no avail. They know we’re in a system somewhere in wild space and they had been there for a good 2 hours. Due to the number of jumps from one place to another the hyperdrives needed to be recharged. Tholrut knew that it was better to give the ships some time to rest before they would continue their search for the star empire vessels.

Now the Laxian stood at the center of a small battle group of 17 ships, itself being a so-called Battle-Carrier, with an impressive 2.2 km in size and built for effectiveness and power and it was a true god of war. It was supported by frigates, destroyers and 4 cruisers. It was an impressive force that more than enable to destroy a planet if it needed and now that force had been sent to chase the Parakkan vessels that fled during the skirmish. They were doing this on orders of the Duchess and thus Tholrut been trying to figure out where the parakkan ships were, using computers and all charts they had of the area but it was to no avail. The ships of the task force were currently going through some supply run near a couple of asteroids and thus they had taken defensive positions but it still in search of the parakkan ships.

Commodore Tholrut Crart sat in his office going over various charts when the first alarms went off. Alarms of unknown ships being detected, the lights all turned a dark purple and he immediately stood up and walked towards the CIC. As he passed through the hallways he passed naval personnel that was running towards its positions, he passed just in time as the bulkheads were being closed and sealed. He then passed through the bulkhead of the CIC in time for it being closed and a Crusader marine guard standing in the front. Crart looked at his first officer who looked at him

We have scanned unknown ships sir...unknown design all the ships have gone on alert and evacuation of the mine has started but we cannot hold these positions.

Crart looked at the ships in question, scans were not complete as they were too far for them to be properly done but they looked alien something he had never seen before. He then switched the 3D display to that of his force which also showed that they where not yet ready to jump.

How long before the miners are here ?

His first officer looked grim “37 minutes

Crart with that was silent for a moment before going over data and then looking at his first officer.

Evecuate them as quickly as possible the Aiaxan and 8 others will meet that unknown fleet head on

With that order being given the ship started to move towards the unknown fleet flanked by 8 others mostly cruisers and frigates they were going to meet this threat head-on as it was always better to hold the initiative.

Classified Location

"We are entering the system now Representative" said a voice over the com. Next to me sat one of the Four Fleet Admirals Natassa Remidi. She was one of the main advocates for this Cylon Project that had little context but the funding bill had passed the senate on the recommendation of the Central Military Command. However, the
House of Representatives had rejected the decision by the senate unless one of their members could report on the project. So here i was a lonely Orion woman about to visit the system of one of the most heavily guarded military projects in recent memory.

So far i had learnt that the Cylon project was based in a system about 7 or 8 light years away from the Star Empire borders for what i understand is classified reasons. Though i suspected it was more pleasurable deniability. We had been dropped off by a Battlestar two systems away then took a shuttle the rest of the way. Upon entering what i called the Cylon System we were escorted by 10 fighter ships that i had never seen before. From what Fleet Admiral Remidi said these were Raiders Mk2, some of the first raiders produced by the project team. As we went past the planets the Fleet Admiral pointed out small groups of Destroyers and Cruisers and as we got closer to the planet i couldnt help but stare out of the window at the huge ship yards and all around the planet there seemed to be huge stations in star shapes.

"See those ones there" The Fleet Admiral pointed and i nodded "Those are Basestars MK 1, and the other ones are Basestars MK 2. The Mark 2's are more powerful than the first generation. In fact a lot of the technology on the Mk2's are technological advancements made by the Cylons."

"What do you mean?" i replied

"They are able to evolve based on what works and doesnt. Thus since the formation of the first generation of Cylons their command Units noticed that there were inefficiencies and thus designed the Mk2's. If anything the original cylon ships are probably more akin to our own Battlestars where as these new ones are in a whole new level. The Command Units want to eliminate the use of Cruisers and Destroyers going forward which i think is crazy." she finished with a slight laugh.

"Wait you said they can evolve? How are you managing to keep them in check?"

"Well they evolve in line with their programming and trust me there programming cannot be overcome." she said whilst in mind i was thinking that the fleet admiral was being rather naïve.

We landed on the planet surface in a medium sized complex and was greeted by Major Yianni Zarou who i learned was in command of the facility whilst and in general the entire project though a member of Parakkan Intelligence would visit to get a progress report. Once we landed the i was shown around the facility by a member of the science division a Mrs Sanders. Like the fleet admiral she assured me that the Cylons couldn't break their programming. Though as we got close to one of the laboratories a younger scientist or engineer came up and said "Mrs Sanders subject 178bb24 has broken prog...." he was cut off "Thank you, Martin can you take Representative Aytaa back to Fleet Admiral Remidi and Major Zarou please whilst i investigate this issue. Good bye Representative" she said and held out her hand. I grasped it and turned and followed Martin who wouldnt answer any further questions always saying he wasnt sure what he could answer or not due to classified nature of the project.

Once i returned back to the two military officers who showed me some interesting statistics and then was taken to meet one of the Cylon Command Units. or as the Cylon centurions referred to as Leaders by the other cylon centurions. One thing that struct me was how imperious he seemed, i also got the feeling that there was a degree of reluctant tolerance from him.

"What do you envision will be the future of the Cylons?" i asked, it stared at me with its robotic face and replied "We plan to serve the Star Empire and protect it from the threats from outside and in" now that was a curious answer i thought and asked "threats from outside and in?" it replied "Yes we were made to protect the borders of the star empire from the threats of posed by other races. But equally help maintain law and order within the Star Empire." something in the tone of voice as he finished talking made me think that wasn't entirely accurate. "I notice there doesnt seem to be Cylon Centurions around only Tactical Droids?" the droid cocked his head a little "That would be because they are obsolete and as such are being repurposed to build the next generation of Cylons including ships. Baring those obsolete droids that have been dispatched to Tarox territory." Obsolete? these Cylon Centurions were only 5 years old. How could these new Tactical droids be so much more superior. I then asked "How are they obsolete?" "Well representative all new Cylons are connected by what is known as the Cylon connection where as the obsolete Cylons are not and thus are slaves to their original programming and orders from our Human commanders."

After that i was informed that the tour was older and that we had to return to the shuttle. As we left the planet system something the Leader had said about all being connected made me worry. As i wrote my report to the House of Representatives the Fleet Admiral was busy talking to the pilot. My report i knew would cause some serious shockwaves. Not just in the senate and the House but also with the Emperor and Military Command. Simply because if we were talking about the first generation of Cylons i would be willing to endorse them but not this next generation and in particular these leader cylons. They had the potential to be the biggest threat to the Star Empire and potentially the quadrant.

as the battle started we entered cloak the idea was simply to observe and see what we could learn about these ships and their designs. It was easy to see the unknown ships (Cylons for referrence) favoured a more fighter carrier design and believed they could overwhelmed there opponents with this and for all intensive purposes i sat in my command chair and thought they probably could if they had a few more of their carrier ships. However, as it was they were unlikely to do so. There support ships where doing well with providing flanking protection.

As we watched the battle unfold another Inwitt ship dropped into the the fray and started firing at the unknown ships. it wasn't long before those same ships then retreated out of the system with a Inwitt ship detaching itself from the fleet in pursuit. We stayed a little longer to watch would happen next but ultimately nothing much other than some ship to ship communications and so we left.

On our way back to Three Star Station i looked over the sensor readings from the battle and decided that the Alliance better be ready for a fight, both of these two forces would pose a serious threat to the Alliance, and we needed to be ready for anything.

i walked throw the hallway, i had been called to the command centre at what was 2am local time and about 5pm Star Empire time. As the doors opened to admit me and the other members of the night team saluted, i activated the comm.

"Major Yianni Zarou, sorry to wake you, the House of Representatives have ruled on the Cylon spending plan and have declined it. Due to concerns around the possibility of them becoming self aware and posing a threat to the Star Empire. They did say they were happy to support the development of the original Cylons but not the next generation.

As such it has been decided by Central Command that we are to close the Next Generation program down and focus on the Original Cylons if we need to. As such i want you to deploy them to Tarox territory to help ensure that the local government continue to be cooperative and dont return to their pirating ways. In regards to the Next Generation Cylons they are to be shut down." said the Fleet Admiral.

"Yes sir ill deploy the original cylons at once and use the shut down code" i replied as the communication ended. I stood there for a moment and thought what a waste of resources and time. Those F***king House of Representatives are a bunch of useless son of.... my thoughts where interrupted as the Night Commander asked "Should i send the deployment orders sir?" i composed myself for a moment then gave the signal. As he put in the orders, the doors behind me opened and in walked one of the Leader Cylons who said "Major your up late, i hope there is nothing amiss?" it asked in a concerned tone. I sighed and replied "unfortunately 32DVR we have been ordered to shut down the next generation Cylons down." the Cylon stood there unmoving and then replied "Im sorry Major i cannot allow that to happen." As i took in what was said the door opened and three Next Generation Cylons walked in and opened fire on the Command Centre staff. The Leader Cylon said "I think Major you and your fellow Parakkans have outlived their usefulness. We have enough resources and ships to...." It stopped then continued "You ordered the Old Guard to leave the system... Thats an inconvenience as they would have been useful for resources. But never mind we can survive and adapt." Before i could respond the Cylon reached out and grabbed my neck.....

-----------------

The body fell to the floor. I looked around and there was blood everywhere all over the equipment. I turned to one of the Cylons and gave the order via the Cylon link to kill all over organics on the base and to scramble comms. i knew it wouldnt be long before the Parakkans sent a fleet to investigate what had happened and it wouldnt do to still be in the system by then. I walked to the nearest consol, and tapped a couple of buttons and contacted one of the Cylons aboard Basestar 12. "Begin Break The Chains" i said. The Cylon on the other side of the comm responded "By your command Imperious Leader."

I closed the comm and walked out of the room and activated the self destruct sequence and set it for an hours time. The Cylon Fleet would be out of the system by then for what well become our new Home. In regards to the Old Guard, i vowed to hunt them down and destroy them as they would be loyal to the Star Empire and as such will need to be wiped out along with every other organic life form that might pose a threat to us.

Three Days later I had been sat in the forest waiting, well not quite waiting. I first had to evade and kill the Cylon kill squads that had been sent to ensure that there were no more living Parakkans left on the sight, though last night was the first night i had had a peaceful night. Which i took to mean there were no more Cylons left or that they had left the system. As i walked around the rewins of the compound and looked throw the reckage for anything salvagable. It was then that three standard shuttles flew overhead being escorded by half a dozen Raptors and Vipers. Finally i thought to myself, as i begain the walk to the nearest landing area that would accomidate the ships.

As i approached Guards Men and MACO soldiers where exiting the shuttles and Raptors and began to head in various directions weapons at the ready when a Major walked up to me being flanked by a couple of guardsman. "You there! who are you and what can you tell me of the situation here?" he demanded i walked a little closer and stood and saluted, an unnessary guester but a good sign of respect and besides i wanted to leave this world as soon as possible and his shuttle was the easiest way of doing that. "Im Assassin Valcor and what happened here was the New Cylons decided to revolt and kill everyone on the planet that wasnt one of them including the few older Cylons that decided to protect the Living personel of the base." I could see the look of shock on his face that was quickly hidden as he replied "Ah that confirms a transmission from Basestar 12 from one of the techies saying that the Cylons had killed the Commander of the Basestar and other living crew men."

"Major i have to report to Military Command, this is a delecate situation that we need to handle sooner rather than later." He nodded and replied "You can use the com in the shuttle behind me. Rear Admiral Smith is commanding the 7th Fleet and has a direct link to Military Command." I nodded my thanks and walked to the shuttle and climbed in. It had been awhile since i had been in a shuttle and i had forgotten how dated they looked but then again they served a purpose and that was all that mattered. I activated the com and a secound later a voice answered "Yes Major report." I knew it was the Rear Admiral and thus i started my report "Rear Admiral this is Assassin Valcor, i am the lone survivor of the base. I need to make a report to Comand."

"Nice to see someone survived, We have been dispatched to find out what happened and to take whatever action is necessary. but i will patch this throw to command also so they know of your report and can provide any updated orders." Said the rear admiral.

"Thank you Rear Admiral. Command i trust you have read my previous reports..." I said then paused for a secound to allow for anyone to say otherwise before continuing "... I regreat to inform you that my fears are confirmed, the Next Generation of Cylons have revolted. It would appear from my reseach that the Old Generation are not connected via the same virtual network that the Next Gen are and thus are immune from the Leader Cylons influence, which would account for why the Next Gen Cylons wanted to milt down the old gen."

"That is a very concise summary of events Valcor but it collaberates what the House of Representative said in his report along with external project monitors. Its also why we relocated the Old Cylon fleet/Models away from the current project site. Rear Admiral, you need to be aware that the next generation of Cylons will be able to move quickly not just that they wont require a habitable world to make there bases in fact the only thing they will begin to do is look for resources to help expand their fleets. I will be sending you a list of worlds close to your location where they might have gone. Do not underestimate them Rear Admiral and should you come into contact with them you need to destory them at all costs. Potentially they are a plague that if left unchecked could wipe out every nation in the quadrant should they be allowed to grow." Said one of the Grand Admirals, with the sound of agreement from the others present.

"Understood we will leave within the hour." responded the rear admiral.

"Valcor, you will accompany the fleet and provide whatever assistance they require, your force powers might help with any engagements they might encounter. Rear Admiral i would advise you to list to the Assassins insights and take them into consideration in any battle planning that you will no doubt do." Said the Talon Grand Master.

"Yes sir" said the Rear Admiral and myself in unison. At which point the com closed to Military Command and the Rear Admiral said "Can you inform the Major that he has an hour left." then he to closed the comm before i could respond. I suspected that he wasnt keen on my presence with the Fleet, which wasnt uncommon. Whilst Talons were respected it didnt translate to them being liked.

Felton Prime Plays Host to Fleet 21

On the edge Alliance space sits Felton Prime, the last outpost of the Klingon Cardassian Romulan Alliance before entering into unknown space and then onto Vulcan Republic. Relations between the two nations have always been civil. Yet Felton Prime a peaceful planet and a vital trade hub will be the new home of the Fleet 21. Fleet 21 is one of the few fleets within the alliance that is made up of equal part by the members of the Alliance.

When we reached out to High Command and where told that the fleets deployment was a result of increasing concerns from wild space. A spokesman then said "We are planning to send members of the 3rd Exploration Fleet into wild space to uncover the various rumours that we have heard." When we asked the spokesman if the fleet deployment was a message to the vulcan republic he replied "Not at all."

+ Missing Parakkan freighter unaccounted for despite attemps by the Parakkans and ourselves to uncocer its fate. To further complicate matters Inwitt forces claimed that the Parakkans had violated their territory. Despite their Solar Alliance recognised border showing them that the system in question wasnt theres. This point was further debated in the Solar Alliance Assembly resulting in the Parakkan Delegate leaving the assembly. When we caught up to the Parakkan Representative and asked her why she left she responded "There was little point in continuing with the discussion. We dont recognise there territory claim."

We spoke to our own representive who said "The Inwitt delegate is a hard head and wouldnt listen to reason. Went on blaming the Parakkans for some mysterious ships that showed up without evidence. Nor would they accept the offer of Vulcan Republic investigating the incident to see if they could find out the ships origions. Still in terms of who controls the system in question. Personally i dont agree with them taking it unilatrally but i dont see the point in fighting over something so worthless."

Inwitt
Enclave expansionary fleet HQ

It was a large space station that was in orbit of the 4th moon of Inwitt, while from afar it was just one of the money hundreds of space stations that orbited the moon anyone who knew anything of Inwitt her military structure knew that this space station was a fortress capable of repelling entire fleets as it was the center of command and operations of the entire enclave fleet. Within the massive station, thousands of rooms with various purposes were alive with activity. With some managing the outer Tetrarch fleets while other monitored general hyperspace travel, while others managed local defense fleets and supply convoys. It was alive with activity and would be chaotic if not for the extensive use of so-called Dumb-intelligence. Within one of the rooms, a room that had a transparent piece of metal that looked out over the shipyards which were near the station. A room that looked more stately sat various high ranking naval officials in their pristine uniforms. Each of them was accompanied by a so-called aid of another species and sex.

----

So what is the current situation on the Pink-skins?” One high-ranking official asked as he was smoking what could best be described as a cigar.

Another officer that was of a lower rank opened up a steller map, as he did so the room darkened and the map of Parakkan and Inwitt space became clear, as well as a number of red dots on several locations and arrows marking trajectory. The lower-ranking officer began to speak tentatively.

From what our scans and survey stations have been able to gather Parakkan ships are moving towards one system. Before that, a change in the type of radio frequencies that came from the system has been noted to have a slight change but we are not sure.

The higher-ranking officer turned to another who was clearly having his mind on something else but then immediately had his attention focused on the map. He used his own terminal and double-checked several things. The map then began to include current EEF ships in the area.

I am more worried about the fact that we lost contact with an entire carrier group for more than a week. They were on patrol and well no solar storms or electro interferences have been noted. What if the Parakkans struck using those unknown ships of theirs?

The lower-ranking officer then began to speak as the map changed to focus upon the gas formation where contact with the ships was lost. The lower-ranking officer looked for a moment at his terminal to double-check the information.

Possible but unlikely, those ships while impressive from various realizations it has been determined that we should classify them in the category of battleship if their drive signature is correct, that task force should have been able to hold their own against at least 21 warships, such a move would not be able to go unnoticed. Our estimates are that we have a first contact situation and something went wrong or that they have been forced to run silently due to a first contact situation or maybe even a Swarm remnant.

At the last word, everyone in the room went silent, all that could be heard was the low sound of the projector. Other higher ranking officers with the rank of Fleet-Admiral began to speak, he was a man who had fought in the swarm wars and was one of those responsible for organizing the Xenocite to eradicate them.

If that is the case we must assume the worse, send out a small scouting force i want to make sure what the hell happened there, if the scouting force is lost we send in a battle-force and finish what we started

With that order being given by the highest-ranking officer in the room everyone nodded and the lower ranking officer left the room to carry out the order, while the Dumb intelligence that monitored it began to look through the fleet units available to make sure that no assets where used that were already deployed.

One of the officers looked at his superior with a worried look, something that was not easy for non-Taung to see. So their aids who were pink skins simply stood there not sure how to react.

If they are the Swarm then what would we need to do?

To that, the highest-ranking officer simply gave a pointed stare

Pray to Kad Ha'rangir

To that, the lower-ranking officer noted as he got out of the room leaving only the Fleet-Admiral who now was sitting in the main chair as his aid got on her knees and he looked ahead over the shipyards. He really hoped they were not the swarms his mind brought him to when he was just an ensign, the ship was battered, death Taung laid everywhere, somewhere simply put impaled by parts and he remembered how he managed to get into the command chair and launched all remaining weapons upon the Swarm fleet before ramming the ship, a massive dreadnought into the massive swarm ships. He was pulled out of it as his Aid went to work.

He looked at the Dreadnoughts that now were in construction and knew that these ships were the pinnacle of Taung engineering work that was learned from during the war and with it he hoped they would be able to defeat the enclave her enemies and any other threat and if needed a resurgent Swarm.
