The LKE is renowned for being one of the greatest forces in all of NationStates. If you are new to the game, or just returning, we are glad you have chosen to bring your nation to the LKE. We hope you will aid us in securing greater victories and making newer strides.
Below you will find a guide to getting started in our region. If you have any questions, comments or concerns we would be to hear them, please do not hesitate to post in the Regional Message Board (RMB) or telegram the Prime Minister (whose nation is identified on the World Factbook Entry).
For those who want to do more than answer issues, the best way to get involved further in our regional government is to register on our off-site forum and apply for citizenship (membership of the Electoral College). Below are the following steps to do that:

here- Register an account on our forum.
- Apply for citizenship/electoral status by filling out and posting the short application. This will give you complete access to our forum and all the benefits that come with it.
While waiting for your citizenship application to be approved. You may wish to make introductory remarks in the
City Gates.
Note: We try to review all applications as quickly as possible, but the process can take up to 24 hours to complete. We appreciate your patience during this period.
Congratulations! Your application has been approved, here are the things you can do next:
Play some spam games on
Maximus Street, or join/start a discussion on the Imperial Square. If you have an idea for a roleplay game, start one in the Stories on the LKE.Do you like reading, writing, gaming or debating? Then our
Regional Societies have exactly what your looking for.Interested in politics, visit
Faction Avenue and join one of our political parties or start your own here.Does the thought of raiding and conquering regions appeal to you? If so, then perhaps a career in the
Imperial Army is right for you. We are always looking for new recruits to lead our region to greater glory!What about being a diplomat in His Supreme Majesty's Diplomatic Service? Then apply
here. This is the easiest way to gain experience while serving the region. Do you want your voice to be heard or have an idea for a business? Then check out the
Golden Mile and request a business today. The
University of The Land of Kings and Emperors is currently running a law programme and a political science programme. Be sure to check them out!
Don't you see anything you're interested in? That's okay, we are always open to new ideas and suggestions. Feel free to post in the Imperial Square or telegram/message the Prime Minister.
Aside from answering issues, participating in our regional forums and chatting with the other Electors of the LKE in our RMB, another thing you might want to consider is joining the World Assembly. By joining the WA, you can submit your own resolutions, vote, and endorse other nations. By becoming a member of the World Assembly, you also help the LKE grow its influence in the world stage. All WA Nations endorsing our World Assembly Delegate Nulkia increase the number of his votes in the body.
You need to a valid email. Go to your nation's settings and check if you provided one.
Go to the World Assembly page and click on "Apply to Join" at the top.
A confirmation email from NationStates will then be sent to the address you provided. Log in and look for the message from NationStates. Click the link and you should be directed back to the game. Note, the rules allow you to only have one nation in the World Assembly. While you can create as much nations as you want (you can even move in more than one nation to the LKE), the game prohibits you from having multiple nations joining the WA.

how do Government positions work exactly? you're elected and then appointed or some other way? what about other positions? for example crown prince and prince imperial

Hiya there - I'm Tinhampton, the co-author of this resolution.
On your first point: This was originally designed as a resolution protecting the rights of women in the workplace, but was later expanded in drafting to cover all workers. The grounds you cite as not being covered by this resolution are likely implicitly covered by GA#35, the Charter of Civil Rights.
On your second point: In the multiverse, not all sapient beings are humans - some nations may, for instance, be occupied by sapient cows (and one prolific GA author's nation, Bears Armed, was inhabited by sapient bears). On your third point, I hope you do because of the previous two points I've just raised here :P

To be elected as Prime Minister and others position in government. First you need to gain Electoral status inside the official off-site forum where all the LKE Activities take places.
You must atleast hold the status as Elector in minimum 14 days so you can run as either Premiership or Estate General. There will be more details in the Constitution XII.
The details and separate of powers are regulated inside the Constitution XII.
But for quick explanation, the Imperial Government is consist the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. Prime Minister is elected once every 5 weeks in effective term. It's same with Legislative body, the Estates General.
For the Imperial Crown, the crown prince and Prince Imperial are choosen and dismissed only by the Emperor that reign over our Empire.
So we work same as the Monarchy in the real world, only have slightly different.. To be more precise, an Constitutional Monarchy

My nation is a nation of some of the highest levels of freedom. This includes religious freedom. As some of you may have noticed, my moto is in Arabic. My nation is currently phasing Arabic into schools as a second language behind English. (I am learning Arabic as a second language in real life.)
