Common knowledge yes. Also common knowledge but on a more covert scale that Russia is really propping up the Greek military via extensive military sales. So your move is rather concerning and will spark conversations in Moscow on what to do.

However, like yours and my Lebanon's attempted meeting regarding naval equipment, you always said you need some sort of tactical advantage or some sort of edge. Like you want whatever deal to go in your favour.

HISTORICAL TREATY BETWEEN LA PLATA AND THE UNITED-KINGDOM OVER THE MALVINAS

| FALKLANDS/MALVINAS — This is truly a day that will mark history, mark my words! Our dear President, Mr. Mandrake, has announced the most important treaty signature for La Plata in decades. Indeed, La Plata signed, with the United-Kingdom, the Treaty of the Falkland's reconciliation with La Plata (Argentina). This treaty is said, by officials close to President Mandrake, to be the last nail in the coffin of the Guerra de las Malvinas. Moreover, this marks the era of a long and lasting peace and cooperation between La Plata and the local government of the Falkland's and the government of Her Majesty, in the UK. Here are the terms of this treaty:

• La Plata will resume air and sea transit between the mainland and the Falkland's, resuming the cargo and people transportation and making the delivery of goods more stable and less expensive for the Falklanders

• Ancestral Argentinian (Platino) families who lived on the Island before their forceful displacement with the British take-over will be able to return on the island.

• Families of fallen Argentinian soldiers still buried on the island will be able to come see their kin's graves without restriction.

• Falklands will keep the 12km territorial waters, but beyond that limit the seas become Platinan waters, part of its Extended Economic Zone (EEZ)

• In order to help increase the wealth of the Island despite losing their EEZ, La Plata will grant Falklanders free access for fishing to ALL Platino waters and visa-free access to La Plata proper. In addition, UK will keep all its rights and economical aspects in the region. Any deal made between La Plata and the Falkland's local government will be automatically applied to the UK. Former Falklands EEZ (including shale oil/gas current exploration within those waters) will still be accessible for current UK economic activities.

• La Plata officially revokes its claims on the South Georgia and South Sandwich islands and will officially renounce, in its constitution, to try to retake the Malvinas by force.

As we can see, the major drawback of this treaty, in the eyes of staunch Argentinian nationalists, is that the Malvinas are still under the rule of the UK and not in Platino hands. This should infuriate a part of the MPs in the People's Chamber towards the President and his party and it is sure that many MPs of the Partido Justicialista will turn against Mandrake. This move by our president is surely a long thought one. What could prove that it was one of the last resort for the President is that since December 2019 there are bilateral negociations about the status of the islands. Many MPs, less nationalist or simply not Argentinian, will surely applaud the President for securing a long and lasting peace with this former regional rival. Such peace should be excellent for business and for the image of La Plata in Europe and around the world. Indeed, with the imperial wars going on in Europe and the Middle-East, La Plata stayed civilized and did not enter the band-wagon of invasions and insecurity going on. La Plata also respected the UN resolutions since the Malvinas War by engaging in peaceful negociations through diplomatic channels.

I will repeat that, but: Peace is finally achieved! Yes, we did not have the Malvinas. Yes, we did renounce claims that were justified in the past for Argentina. But, this deal also secure what is REALLY important for La Plata: diplomatic stance, and access to the Island for the mourning families and families who inhabited the island back before 1833. This shouldn't cause a massive move of population into the Falkland's as La Plata became a successful nation with a good life rating. Moreover, the officialisation of La Plata's claims about the EEZ is the biggest win for La Plata and one in accordance to analysis of many committees from the UN commissions. It also opens for a long and lasting cooperative relation between the island and La Plata, but also between the UK and La Plata. I will underline this, but las Malvinas are still a claim of La Plata, but also this treaty confirms the diplomatic and peaceful struggle for a future possibility that the Falklanders rejoin La Plata in the future. They will be welcomed in open arms! But, peace is secured, with the inscription of the last clause in our Constitution, along our claims on the Malvinas.

About this last point, I am sure that the People's Chamber will have a hard time passing it in the Constitution and it may cause the government to go in early elections... Or maybe a popular referendum will happen? Who knows, but let's not worry, now is time for celebrations and reconciliations.|

What a glorious day for La Plata! Peace is achieved finally! This is the pinnacle of my achievements. La Plata is indeed Glorious Again, to retake what my friend @realdonaldtrump says often for Paramerica. Anyway, I officially announce that La Plata asked to rejoin NATO. With peace achieved for good in the South Atlantic, nothing blocks us to join back our former close allies and fight for justice and peace beyond us. If we are accepted, this new alliance should pair well with our South American duties with DOSA. My vision of a strong and peaceful La Plata is finally a reality. I am proud of all of you. Our long lasting efforts finally pay. La Plata is safe, La Plata is strong, La Plata is proud and La Plata is united more than ever!
