Tubbius begs to differ. They are both inferior to MMPH Soda.

This is a one off roleplay.

Alakis was led into the visitation room by the guard. Looking across the booths, he could see the man he had been expecting to see. His lawyer, Martin Trudoin was already seated on one side of the booth, the lawyer's expression giving away nothing of the urgent tone with which he had requested to meet Alanis. Alanis crossed the room and as he was sitting down on the other side of the see-through barrier, flicked the microphone on.

"Good afternoon Mr Trudoin. Has there been a development in the case? I notice you do not have anything with you."

The lawyer nodded. "I do not have anything, and yes, there has been a most notable development. I did not want to yell you on the phone because I thought this news might merit greater effort than that."

Alakis nodded, not sure what to think. "You do know how to keep a client in suspense, Mr Trudoin."

The lawyer smiled. "My apologies. During my communications with the prosecution, it seemed that they have come to a realisation. They are dropping the case against you for lack of evidence."

Alakis sat still for a moment before taking a deep breath. "Are you sure?"

"I got a call confirming the prosecution's decision yesterday evening."

Alakis smiled, trying to keep his emotions in check even now. He thought for a few moments about what to say next. "I cannot thank you enough."

"It was my pleasure. Your wife knows of this and wanted me to pass along a message." The man slid a note out of his suit pocket.

"My dear Alakis, I have just been told of the news of your confirmed innocence. I'm so glad that the prosecution finally saw sense and I can't wait to have you by my side again. Unfortunately, you may have to come to my side. The doctors say that I won't be released from hospital in time to see you, but that lawyer I hired says you will be released much sooner than I. I would love to have been there waiting outside for you, but alas, the gods have other plans for us. Nevertheless, when I am better, we will go on a holiday and get away from it all. We both deserve it.

Your ever-loving wife,

Sasha

Alakis leant back in the chair with a happy sigh before asking "When can I see her?"

"Now, Mr Monshi." A voice behind him made Alakis turn around. A man he hadn't seen before was standing in there. Alakis turned back to his lawyer who nodded.

"I've already arranged everything. There's a car waiting to bring you wherever you want to go. It's been a pleasure working with you and it I could shake your hand, I would."

Fact of the Day
The camel is usually described as "the ship of the desert" because of its ability to negotiate the difficult terrain of long sand dunes for a long period of time without food or water. Despite the name, the hump-equipped animal cannot swim at all in water. But it can float !

I'm back after a long break from this simulation game. How is everything going fellow brave leaders? Good to see you all in early stage of 2021. Hopefully this year would go better than the previous ones we had endured.

Hmmmmmm, something is wrong. You claim to believe in God and be a holy empire, HOWEVER your national religion isn't turtleism! Hah, your nefarious scheme has been revealed, and you thought you could deceive the children of the Holy Turtle!

Tubbius the Fat has a lovely view of birds landing in tree branches outside of His bedroom window. The branches sag a bit at this, though, for, in Treadwellia, even the tiniest of birds are pudgy little creatures.
