There's an intense frustration and sadness that comes with seeing your life slip away from you in front of your eyes. And frankly with all the other pressures that a young adult has to go through during his life, adding this s*** on top of it puts you on a mental tightrope that I'm personally clinging onto with the skin of my teeth. i don't know what's going to happen in the future, country's don't want to take migrants in (especially economic migrants), this effectively maroons us in this pearl shaped dystopia , left to squander the rest of my life away

at least the west has functioning institutions, that to a extent mitigates the retarding influence of policymakers, effectively making sure that they can't do too much harm

Speaking of nuclear power, with the 2020 derecho the last nuclear power plant in iowa shut down. Good day.

It was a mildly sketchy plant. Thankfully it was on the other side of the state from me, good riddance Duane Arnold Nuclear

Ah yes, good ol' EU politics, good thing I live with the 2 party incompetence that most American politicians bring. That's why I have no political party that I follow.

I just looked at family names with Sargk because I can remember someone said it is a popular surname and now I know that there were 21 John George Sargks living in Upper Hesse during the 18th and 19th century. And all of them lived in the same town except for 2. What are the odds for this that I name my country without any knowledge on Upper Hessian names after a name that 19 people had during the same time frame in the same town and another 2 in the same region? What are the odds?

Good news guys, I just finished registering as an unaffiliated voter in NJ! The 2022 general elections is going to be the first time I am eligible to vote.

I ask the Founder of the Liberty Alliance to update the constitution as quickly as possible. The amendment vote has been verified by the Chief Justice

PASSED

The Constitution has been amended, with the resulting numbering changes to the articles subsequent to former Article 5.
Thank you.

Probably not but if you were to translate it, it would mean: A god sent Sargki farmer.

I didn't want to take a too serious name but a sorta dumb name so I just thought: hmm... what name would be edgy and stupid enough but still secret enough so that nobody would get it?
I just went through many dumb ideas until I ended up with the German word for grave, Sarg but too give it that extra secrecy and that pinch of edginess I added the K in the end, resulting in Sargk.
I know it's stupid but hey, it has become a classic and a fan-favourite.

Oh! That... that's bad. I mean we have some of the highest prices in the world here but that's nothing compared to no petrol at all.
Well, whatcha gonna do now?

Hola Senor o Senorita!

Is the coffin dance a cultural staple of Sargk then?
