The Right Honorable Ambassador had this to say to the HBC upon learning of his confirmation: “Obviously, I’m delighted. Establishing normal relations with the World Assembly has been something that I’ve pressed His Majesty’s Government on for years now and I’m glad that someone beyond me has recognized its values. I look forward to the ability to represent His Majesty’s Government at this prestigious international body.”
Sir Peter Gaynor-Williams is the former MP for Havant and was the Chairman of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee from 2007 to 2017.

I have a tie between 4. Louisiana because its my place of birth, good food, good people, great sports teams (Geaux Saints and Pelicans!). Virginia because its a pretty diverse state in terms of demographics, rural vs urban, and education. West Virginia because I'll be attending WVU and its a state that actually takes care of their roads. California because of the beaches and warm weather.
