Good poem, happened on Tuesday. We also did a shooting scenario with a shooter in a school holding a teacher hostage and we popped the dude in the head, but apparently when the teachers saw that they got really butthurt and now most of the scenarios aren't technically allowed.
No I extremely hate this MoS, i was pushed towards intel but I wanted to see a deployment; instead I'm stuck in TRADOC. Now I'm in a PT program for PsyOps so hopefully all goes well.

Yea good luck man. I waited a long time to deploy (and now am pulled back early for ALC) and now I am at the point I cant reclass.... warrant sounds nice. I have to finish my degree though.

It's not really, they get the easiest training, the most freedom, the nicest equipment and barracks; because they are the recruiting tool for the military and every other combat or combat support MoS gets ignored. The Armor School general literally told a bunch of almost-graduates of ABOLC that scouts are useless and a tank can do a scouts job, and so they refuse to teach us anything but Vietnam era tactics, give us a trash pseudo-tank, and infantry tactics. It's the same with the SoF side of the house though; they get ignored because they do things that doesn't "look good" regardless of the lives they save and instead use Rangers as a tool. Their is a reason why nearly everyone at the top has a Ranger Tab, even generals in an armor MoS.

Warrant is a godsend, if you get into that you deserve to skate around like a ballerina.

Warrant is a godsend, if you get into that you deserve to skate around like a ballerina.

I feel like the infantry get treated like absolute children. I def wouldn't want to do that. I get the best of both worlds... but also double the field time Haha, which isn't bad. I enjoy the field.
