Exactly. But the church lasts forever.
They never defeated Elisa, they kinda defeated themselves.
Yeah ok.
I’m all for rp sh*ttalk, but don’t make stuff up that make me look bad.
Yeah im not making it up. before I asked you to join the ILSN, back when the conflict first started, we exchanged several tgs of you asking me to switch sides to help you, even though the rest of the ILSN didnt trust you.
I do have the ones I sent saved. You had offered an alliance, protection, and if memory serves free weapons if I helped you.
Yeah, I negotiated with you, the whole thing fell apart because neither of us were willing to compromise on certain things. I wasn’t some desperate loser.
Dredging up old tgs to try and embarrass me is rather petty and mean-spirited. I’d rather just keep our conflict inside of rp, and using private conversations to mock me go well beyond rp.
"Listen, I am willing to offer a collateral to prove my loyalty. I will put Sænt Hannrik on the line, if I betray you, it’s yours."
-Rothaland.
Good thing I quoted the TG's when discussing it with my other allies at the time
Holy crap.
Dude, I said I wanted to keep private conversations private.
Wtf is your problem.
As far as I was aware, those were IC negotiations.
What? They didn't trust Astrid?
There is nothing to be ashamed of in needing help badly.
Shocking I know, and now in hindsight, they had good reason
It is still considered a political faux pax to quote private discussions. Then again, the diplomatic status with you and Rothaland isn't exactly marvelous at the moment.
If I wanted everyone to see our negotiations I would’ve had them on the rmb or the forum, they were private conversations for a reason, and sharing tgs is rathe low imo, like I got shat on by GV for doing a lot less.
There was no point here other than to simply make fun of me and make me look like a desperate loser, and I don’t appreciate that. I don’t know why you couldn’t just respect what I wanted. There are plenty of ways to insult me that I would’ve been perfectly ok with.
Fair enough.
And yet you all agreed to become Rothalands henchmens just after?
I can see the discussion:
"I dunno if we can trust you but since Anacodia say you are okay, I guess you are in."
"Great, you are all my henchmens in my great plan to starve the entire world" *mad laughter*
"Okay, that sounds fine".
Pretty much yeah. I was letting my ambitions take control of rational thought.
Thank you for the apology.
To be fair did you share part of an Ooc conversation.
But yes, it is considered an diplomatic insult to share private conversation between 2 leaders with the world. That however is an in game thing and are something solved in game. We seen a few nations in the past sharing such things and there have of course always been diplomatic consequences.
Im not going to lie, I did it because of what Rothaland did to Reyma Asari. Yeah, yeah I can hear you all saying I dont have definitive proof, but of the two prime suspects (Scalesburg and Rothaland) Rothaland is the only one I could see doing something like that.
Also: Sharing private conversations do mean other nations might be less likely to talk with you in private.
We do however know that many nations might secretly share information like that with allies but out of sight, out of mind.
Not like im going to be in any large alliances any time soon, but very true.
