And idiots still try to raid us simply because we are one of the few founderless regions.

Raid protection policy: If you are here to protect our leadership during a raid, be sure to endorse at laest a majority of if not the entire ruling council so that we know that is your purpose. Otherwise you may be mistaken as being part of the raid.

lol how do u even endorse

I feel you. I wished they would leave our regions alone tbh.

Step-by-Step Guide to Joining the World Assembly
Step 1: Click on your nation's Settings.

Step 2: Verify that you've provided a valid e-mail address.

Step 3: Click on the World Assembly.

Step 4: Click the Apply to Join button.

Step 5: You'll be redirected to a page verifying that your World Assembly activation e-mail will be sent.

Step 6: Check the e-mail you provided in your Settings for your World Assembly activation e-mail.

Step 7: Click on the link found in your World Assembly activation e-mail.

Step 8: You'll be redirected to a page to confirm you're joining the World Assembly. Click the Confirm button.

Step 9: Congratulations, you're in the World Assembly! Now if you don't mind, please take a minute to endorse Dragonisia, our World Assembly Delegate, to help keep St Abbaddon secure. Just scroll down to the bottom of his nation page and click the Endorse button.

If you don't mind, please also take a minute to endorse the rest of the Council of Elders: Niktobr, Platinia and Draganisia.

Very Important!!! Remember that you can only have one nation in the World Assembly at a time. It's against NationStates rules to have more than one World Assembly nation at the same time. As long as you use the same e-mail address for all of your nations, the game will prevent you from accidentally joining the World Assembly with more than one nation, so it is highly recommended that you use the same e-mail address for all of your nations!

Don't hesitate to let any of the Regional Officers know if you have any questions!

Thanks to Wymondham and Cormactopia primefor help in putting together this dispatch!

Heyo friends of St Abbaddon!

The Free Nations Region is hosting a debate session on Saturday, August 1st at 19:00 UTC, and we want YOU to come on over to our discord and participate in some lively discussion. But, first things first, we need to decide what we will be debating.

In this dispatch, I have outlined in detail eight questions. These questions are presented in four groups of two, each of which contains questions related to each other. In the following poll, you can decide which two questions we will be answering on Saturday:

I hope to see you there and I can't wait to see what topics the community decides upon!

Minister of Culture, The Free Nations Region

Would you want to know you are going to die before hand or die suddenly without warning? Why did you pick that choice?

suddenly die without warning. I'd get severe anxiety if I knew I would die and probably a mental breakdown.

Statement from the new interim government of Thalassia

Statement from the Interim Council on the Reorganisation of the Regional Government

Our fellow Thalassians,

Recently, Thalassia has not been the force it once was, with the government falling into inactivity, and the resulting administrative and organisational atrophy leading the region at large towards a similar downward trend. The failure of the government is not the fault of the Prime Minister or the Cabinet, instead the responsibility lies with structural issues with the region’s system of government, alongside certain long term trends that have plagued the region since the beginning of the year. The lack of government activity is due to the long term trends described below which are systemic in Thalassia’s structure.

The vast majority of the productive activity within the region has been driven by the same 4 or 5 individuals, since the end of 2019. With the current system of government encouraging short term bursts of activity, with no coherent plan being developed with regards to the region’s long term future on internal or external matters, due to the constantly changing governmental leadership. This has created a single point of failure for regional activity which is almost solely dependent on the availability of no more than 5 or 6 individuals to drive the government and organise the region. This is simply not sustainable and places the region's long term future into question.

As explained above, the problems are systemic and thus cannot be resolved via a simple amendment to the Constitution. While the established methods for altering the Constitution would lead to further instability and place the region in limbo for an indefinite period. Furthermore, Arenado and Wymondham, who have been the most prominent authors of legislation in Thalassia since the beginning of the year as well as possessing extensive external legislative experience, have both concluded that the current system in place for repealing and replacing the Constitution would be unworkable for the purpose for implementing a new Constitution to resolve the difficulties outlined above.

With this in mind, the Founder, alongside members of the newly appointed Interim Council, Arenado and Wymondham, has made the decision to dissolve the government, constitution and suspend all policies of the previous administration pending review. Save for the proviso that, for the purpose of honoring the region’s treaty obligations, the Interim Council retains legal continuity with the former government of the Kingdom of Thalassia.

We thank the residents of Thalassia, in advance, for their patience and understanding at this time as well their willingness to co-operate and comply with the new, temporary, regional structure. We also thank our friends and allies for their upcoming acknowledgement of the new governmental structure as the legitimate government of the region and we reiterate that we intend to fully abide by all of our duties under all of our treaties and agreements. We hope to have an interim constitution established in the next few hours.

Signed

Due to dwindling game interest and distractions. I am hereby announcing my intent to resign my position as Emperor of St. Abbaddon. Jesbro is still WA delegate. But my resignation will call for a new election for a new head of state. Upon resignation I will be moving to a foundered non-competitive region where I may or may not continue playing the game. I am thinking I will continue but in a much less active state. Candidacy for the Chief Elder of St. Abbaddon is open, please post your interest. Reminder that you must have been a resident of the region at least one month to be a candidate and remaining elders must be relatively at ease with your candidacy.

I am hereby putting in my resignation from the Council of Elders, effective immediately. My decision was not an easy one but i feel that my position will be better suited for another due to looking forward with my commitments and interests. I wish you all the best in your continued work on keeping St Abbaddon going for as long as NS continues to run.

The work you put into getting St. Abbaddon to where it is now is appreciated by all who have served with you. It is a time for change. Elections are over-due.

I am interested in the Chief Elder position of St Abbaddon. And I agree. Elections are overdue. Even if I get involved with the government or not. I'll still be a part of St Abbaddon. Though you guys leaving is a big loss to St Abbaddon. But I respect your guys' decision. I hope all goes well wherever you guys part ways. And if you ever need help. St Abbaddon will be willing to help old friends.

Update from Thalassia
This is a little late but here is the new Interim Constitution
page=dispatch/id=1421858

We are going to allow you to elect your leaders by endorsing them.. as we do not feel polling would work well. If you're intenting to hold the new positions you may want to gather support so you can defend the region. My guide will remain for your use until someone makes a better one.

Me and Greater kopmakia tied. Anyway. I would like for people to endorse me. I want to attempt to revive this region and also expand the relations with fellow regions to establish friendly communities. I also want to work on Dream World more and attempt to revive it. With support from other fellow nations and their help. We can revive this region and turn it to a lore rich region it once was once again. St Abbaddon must not fall to inactivity. So please endorse me.
