My oldest nation has been around since like late 2014
Reedian, Equalitaria and cascadia, and Millbush city
Wow, "On the beach" is a pg rating and ..."Threads", is only a 15.....Wow, never noticed that before (threads gives grown ups nightmares (possibly less an us gen Xers...but still)...Neither should be watched by anyone young due to the nature of what they are about.....
On the Beach was less horrifying in book form, but still disturbing. I remember reading it on Kindle in my junior year of high school. Threads was a different story. It created a realistic vision of the raw, animal patchwork that society would degenerate into if agriculture, industry and governmental authority failed.
Welcome new comer, I don't know the whole welcoming spiel, so imma just say hi.
Riviere Renard and Millbush city
I could imagine much worse things than lack of government. Without electricity tho, the civilization would pretty much collapse. It would be even worse than medieval ages, since back then everyone were used to lack of something like that.
if enough people were considerate enough of each other, governments would only be needed to enable the construction and maintainence of infrastructure.
but that's one cart that cant be pushed before the horse.
tearing down all the good ways in which they make themselves useful isn't a way that can remove the existence of hierarchies.
the most it can accomplish is to replace one odious reality with the same in another and quite probably and most often worse form.
the most false equivelance is equating aggressive inconsiderateness with freedom.
i'd rather have what i would define as civilization, which is not about technology levels,
but preventing the dominance of a blind and arbitrary aggressiveness.
the intersection of infrastructure and environment is my principal focus of interest. each seeming to me less then complete without the other.
infrastructure needs to do two things, to respect the needs of the environment, and to serve everyone.
and being its about the only thing one person alone can't do entirely for themselves, governments, or at least social organization in some form,
and that doesn't have to be hierarchal ether, but for this reason makes governments useful. even these too need to be kept within bound of respecting nature's need, dependence upon diversity, as everything in depends upon it, ourselves whatever our form, as well.
Happens , I hope you lot have registered to vote..in what ever way.
You kinda get chased down the be on the reg here...they don't care how you vote..the civil service kinda has the job to make sure every one can vote.
They have no idea how you vote...it's just a thing they want to make sure everyone can...kinda their job.
fursona; a green furred anthro-cat-weasil-alien-sapient furson. felid+mustalid mix. cheetah lepard spots plus red panda markings, dominant colors are lime and avacado green. although possible pumpking/omaha orange and frost white highlights. nolo-gapians are born green catlike, but on reaching adolescense, undergo recombinant crisp-r dna treatments to give themselves any form they care to imagine or design.
Also, if anybody’s wondering why I left the group (and Discord entirely), it’s because I left all my social media accounts for reasons I’d rather not go into detail about (they’re very personal, long, and I figure I would rather not just clog up the message board with personal and emotional drama, but rather leave it open for more important things).
Oh, and my fursona’s that little stuffed wolf with the bandanna (which I put on myself) I used on Discord, although I have slightly better looking drawn versions I used on other apps, which had my name on the bandanna and were seen much more often when I was on those apps. Sometimes, I also role played as a bear as well (since I really like those too), and my species was a hybrid between a polar and grizzly (a grolar bear, if you will), but usually with the same attire I had as a wolf, which wasn’t much.
