I don't think the rest of the world has banned Tik Tok, the only countries that have banned it are Indonesia (first one I believe), Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and finally India. All of those countries are in Asia, but I do think it's a step towards a global ban on the app, because India is literally the first global power to ban the app.
Don't get me wrong, I really hate the app, but it's too early to declare a "world victory" against the app.
