No, we give them their rations, and we hail the udarniki as well. They work hard in the factories and farms to display communism's superiority. They live in the communal flats to increase companionship.

And the ones who don't want to be there go on strike and refuse to work, leading to poorly made food and necessities.

We love those who go on strike, they are showing how communist they are. As long as not everyone's on strike, that's totally fine. We have the days of the proletariat (May 1-2 and Nov 7) explicitly for that purpose.

But what if it turns out they go on strike permanently and try to escape? What if they don't want to be part of a happy communist nation?
And... your workers... have 3 days off. 3 days. Only 3 days. All year.

(Also I had a dream that you moved to Nebraska. Please don't move to Nebraska)

Hi its tori this is my dystopia

Yes, they love to be more and more liberated. They are happy proletarians living peacefully in a mighty communist nation. They have many holidays, and all of them have multiple days off every week. (Some emergency workers take shifts on holidays, but they get other days off to compensate.) We just have special days for glorifying the proletariat when the workers may be even more jubilant.

But what if they don't want to be communist? I don't want to be communist. What if I was living in your country and rebelled? People don't work when they get the same fee for working as they do for not working.

We will show them how great Marxism-Leninism always prevails, and the proletariat will simply fall in love and communism. Their warm communist hearts will power their work.

BUT WHAT IF THEY DONT WANT TO BE COMMUNIST. Will they still be treated fairly by you and the other more equal animals?

Communism is a little like slavery tbh everyone is forced to work a lot for not nearly enough.

Not saying slavery is a bad idea or anything I mean...

(im in character ofc i dont really think slavery is a good idea)

Non-socialists will be treated for their false consciousness in appropriate rehabilitation facilities. There they will be taught to appreciate their liberation. If they still hang onto their capitalism, they will be assimilated into industry, agriculture, or they will be escorted to the nearest Change Block and given a job there. Non-communist socialists will be accepted into normal society, and may even take a low position in the Communist Party.

Okay so basically people are punished for not believing the same thing you do? Bc that sounds like the left wing version of my parents.

Also, how come there are lower and higher positions in the party if everyone's supposedly treated equally?

But of course people should be punished for that... if they don't bow down to the Goddess or her son, we burn them at the stake!!!!

It is not punishment, I would never punish proletarians. It is rehabilitation. The lower positions have less power and responsibility. They make the same amount of money, and they are treated more like udarniki when they work hard than apparatchiki.

My WA category is a Civil Rights Lovefest 10/10 my work here is done

According to our dear, dear friend Mx. Google: "Rehabilitative Care” is a broad range of interventions that result in the improved physical, mental and social well-being of those suffering from injury, illness or chronic disease.
Capitalists dont need to be /improved/

But if they're all equal how do some have more power?

1. Capitalists are psychotic, cold-blooded, and should be treated as severely ill with no kindness for other sentient beings.
2. An apparatchik is no better than an udarnik, just the apparatchiki are more suited for leadership, politics, and academics, while the udarniki are more suited for industry, agriculture, and war. You can choose which one you want to be and which subcategory you want to be assimilated into when you go to our free state colleges. The apparatchiki are more intellectual, so they may lovingly organize the udarniki. However, the udarniki may display their proletarian might in a cultural revolution or simply by refusing to work for a bit, and are more prominently featured in propaganda. Both are paid more for more and better labor in their fields. The apparatchiki are also expected to reproletarianize in vacations to the beautiful countryside labor camps of rural Gretial, while the udarniki are not expected to do so. They have different powers and responsibilities, and eventually they will fuse even more in a magnificent communist society. Long live Jesset Versetschi!
