"Not so fast I still have one more trick up my sleeve." Hito said as he got as crystals started to form around his body as it completely covers him like a armored suit.

"You think that armor would do any good?" Kali asked as she charged at Hito punching him at full force. However, Hito was not sent flying the punch Kali delievered only made him move one inch.

"Nice try kid, but now its my turn..." Hito said as he formed a crystal sword on his right arm ready to cut Kali in half.

That was until someone kicked Kali away from the attack and that person was Nano who was cut in half by Hito's sword attack Aylokin, Kali, and Future Sabi gasped in shock as they saw the Android fall on the ground circuits sparking.

"Mom!" Future Sabi called out as she saw her past mom took the hit for Kali.

Flaz was stood there, frozen with shock as he watched Nano hit the ground after being cleaved in half. The world seemed to slowed to a crawling halt, hearing his heartbeat in his ears as he saw back to when she first appeared in their lives. So many years ago now when she joined their community with the little saiyan girl in her arms. In the years that followed when she became a sturdy pillar of the community, when she became a valued friend that was loved by all of her friends and loved by the daughter she was raising now, he made her the chief of the Crimson Ranger police force because he knew she was ready and now she risked her life for his granddaughter.

A red cloak of aura surrounded him as he looked down at Nano before the gaze lifted to meet Hito, his muscles start to expand as the red aura around him waned and expanded, even flickering with a rose colour in places "You..." Flaz leaned forward before he exploded with movement, far faster than he was before. With a feint frontal charge he quickly appeared behind Hito to kick Hito in the side of the head, the leg he was kicking him with expanded and became golden, stopping just above his knee. Both hands filled with red ki as he released a full powered Ki blast volley right into Hito's face. Nano would definitely recognise that kind of transformation , if she was still conscious, but it was incomplete, a false transformation if you will.

Now, I know this may be a loaded question. But where do we stand on the rules when using Anti-magic? How far can we take this?

Depends on the magic it antis. I've already done some work with antimagic fields used scientifically in regards some of my TAS work. Such things can either be focused on specific types of magic or cover a broad spectrum to some extent. Some magic types, like traditional and some witch magic (witch alchemy is for example not included) can be nullified rather simply, but to counter old magic you must specifically stop the connection to the patron entity, as the entity itself is most likely made of magic or spiritual energy and cannot be antimagic'ed. The only way to counter primal magic and instinct is to be stronger in either respectively. Spirit energy for the most part can only be canceled by itself.

Resistive properties of the Doumi (Mage and Hayes in the current year) are examples of personal nulls/counters against magic and spirit energy. The Crossed King is another example of f*ckyou powers against both spirit and planar (Paradise/Perdition/Veil) beings.

The main unspoken rule with antimagic is that each version has an upper limit. The most common versions are game changers up through G, an example being the demon containment spell Celecia used on Imps, Yolg, and the Knight of Hell that became part of Hellknight Maria. It can be used on anything G and below, but once you start getting into the gray area between G7 and the S ranks the spells start getting overwhelmed by the potency of the being that it's containing. Yolg again being a great example, as he never had an issue leaving the spells of his own volition multiple times.

Once you get into S ranks, and in our area Aura comes more into play, you will have to start getting more specific. Antimagic at this level will either have to be spells at the specific rank tou want to stop or higher, and/or cast but someone at that level or higher. And once something or someone breaks through the S3 barrier, like Sam has, even a S3 anti-magic spell would only make him struggle for a bit. If he was still a vampire anyways.

Some things are also impossible to antimagic, even under S. A number of creatures and beings are bound to a plane or alignment, and can only be stopped or harmed by specific materials. The Gilpwarg for example can only be harmed by Lawful weapons, materials, or spells. As antimagic is not an alignment based magic, it wouldn't stop the alignment requirement. Probably the most (IC) infamous example would be the Howding, which can only be harmed by a weapon dipped in the blood of its victims. Truly mythical/supernatural abilities cannot be countered by antimagic.

Though overall antimagic is an excellent tool against most magical creatures and spell casters and should be used a lot more. I'm always happy to see new ideas and applications for it.

So my lizardfolk is legitamently about to threaten to kill another party member do to their in character behavior. They have been responsible for the parties most damaging spell caster near death three times. If it happens again My character is going to kill and potentially eat him xD

As of lately, there has been a trend in forums to add memes on flag - apparently anime flag trend is out of fashion by now. I decided to jump in the bandwagon, and add the glorious bald eagle on my flag.

So say, weapons with antimagic properties could only go so far before being useless against higher up creatures?

Pretty much.

If you had a common anti-magic sword made to cancel out spells or effects on a strike, an uncommon or rare spell or effect would only be minorly effected if at all, where as a common spell would be cancelled. (As generic an example as I can make.)

Basically if you are making an anti magic weapon the source of the anti magic must be equal or greater than the magic you are canceling. As far as my understanding of it goes.

Huh... Well at least now I have this to think about when going into some new upgrades for characters later on.

That about sums it up, yeah. The same applies if you have innate anti magic stuff. If the magic exceeds your own ability, well you can't limit it.
