Synnadine wrote:OOC: Hope you liked it. As per usual it's not as good as I had hoped I'd be able to make it while typing, but that's cause I'm never able to write things out near as good as I have them in my head. If only I could animate :P Alas, that post was not about the fight, but a demonstration of just how strong Kain actually is. Bringing justice to Kain's long established unique ability, in light of Putnam's recently revealed character with a speed based counterpart. While the fight was largely skipped over, and ended in Sam more or less dominating, Sam was effectively at his peak of raw physical might. Not only was Kain able to still take hits, he was also still able to dish them out and hurt Sam, evident by the damage on both sides. Assuming he had enough energy stored he would have been able to defeat and kill even Sam, but he underestimated Sam and let the fight drag on too long, thus burning up too much of his stored reserves.

To make it very clear, Sam was in Divine Release 3(?) With a very rare Enhanced Blood Rage from him, so a 150x to his strength and speed, compared to Kain's only using Enhanced Blood Rage.

Metabolic abilities like Kain and the Boss' run on calories that are stored in the body. Vampires are incredibly efficient at calory Breakdown and storage, so either of them could eat at an all you can eat buffet for a whole week straight and only end up pudgy afterwards to use for combat.

As I now know from a trip to Google, the average human contains 81,500 calories (compared to 200k in a horse and 600k in a bear). Kain probably only ate a single human in anticipation of physical exertion, and took two bites out of Sam during the fight to restore his reserves, which he said equaled a whole human.

Due to a lack of a need or constant exertion Kain isn't all that efficient in calories, nor did he have a large store going into this, as he looked about the same as the average vampire. If he did, or was serious enough, he could have burned more calories and faster to turn into even more strength than he exhibited in this fight. If Kain ever waddled up to Sam weighing 300 pounds and demanded a rematch Sam would run in the other direction.

EDIT: After yet another weird Google search regarding human blood nutritional values, roughly 16 ounces of human blood is only worth about 425-460 calories. A vampire is able to survive on a thimble's worth of blood per day. A Trimble's measure ranges from 1 to 1.5 ounces. So unless I did my math wrong a Vampire can live and operate on just 29~ calories per day.

With how the Boss sits around eating pizza and drinking beer and Kain's every so often human consumption, they store a lot of calories for combat.

Even if Kain is super bad at using his own power as Wabs is putting it, Kain is quite the stacked character with alot of strength going for him. If he had his way in a perfect world he may be a superpower that barely anyone could deal with, besides a few select people with super specific powers that directly counter him/his stored power.

Aeritai wrote:"Agreed." Future Sabi said.

"It would seem those Demon Witches are getting smarter... In my timeline they never sent a hitman after us before."

"Never?" Flaz says as he looks up to her for a moment before he gets back to his feet "How do events here compare to that or your timeline? Are we better off or worse off?"

ZOCOM wrote:"Never?" Flaz says as he looks up to her for a moment before he gets back to his feet "How do events here compare to that or your timeline? Are we better off or worse off?"

"I'm confuse as well." Future Sabi said as she sighed.

"But I know one thing I am going to make sure this Timeline is way better than mine. As long as we keep fighting hard we can prevent Demigra and his Realm from being free."

"How do we know when those Demon Witches are going to be back?" Aylote asked.

"I mean Jane's scanner can pick up demon magic as soon one appears on Earth. But we need a faster response."

"Don't worry you can use this." Future Sabi said as she tossed a comm link towards Flaz.

"I will contact you as soon as I feel a high power level until then you must go and train."

ZOCOM wrote:Flaz lands before Hito, the golden rush of energy starting to take its toll but he keeps his composure despite the immediate drawbacks of trying to push this untested form for so long. Raising his hand for a final punch golden ki gathers as his entire arm buffs and turns golden. "You're really weird for a demon... Maybe you should have been born on this side instead." He says holding nothing back as he punches straight through Hito with killing intent.

To Kalla, the world was falling away. All he could see was Black taunting him by staying within that arms length but never more or less than that, as if to suggest the impossible that he would always be out of his reach. But that was utter madness, how could a fake Saiyan, a Kai who stole the body of a normal saiyan surpass a legend such as he?! Even if he did master the saiyan body there was no way that he could do such a thing. This maddening dace, this charade designed to break his spirit! It will fail, he will see anguish on Black's face!

Across Kalla's body, veins bulge and muscles tighten, rage roars through every muscle fibre, every blood vessel, every cell in his body as it all demanded a single thing: 'Destroy Black!'. His green Ki cloak brightened as his feet dug into the ground, crunching the earth beneath his feet and cracking the land around him. "BLAAAAAACK!" He would not allow this man to taunt him any longer, he wanted blood, he wanted to smell the feel and see the twisted anguish on Black's bloodied face. He would not tolerate the fact that he was not even in his Rose form as he dodged and weaved around him like some coward. Kalla charged at Black with all he had, ki building in his mouth and hands as his green eyes shined with primal desires of combat, to see his foe beaten before him and for him to be the victor. That is what he wanted, and he would do everything to make sure that he would be the victor.

As Kalla kept fighting Goku Black, Winter, May, and Pepper now focused on the newly formed Buu.

"Lets finish this!" Winter said as he flew towards the Super Buu punching him at full force and sending him flying towards May who did a downward punch on the Buu sending him down towards the ground, but before he hit the ground Pepper kicked up into the air again shooting a few ki blast at him. The three of them stopped attacking the Super Buu and decided to let Gokhan finish off the Buu.

It's not that he is bad at it, so much as he isn't terribly practiced with it because he never needed to be. He doesn't train or practice because he has been royalty for the last 7000+ years, and because of who he is it's not like he gets in fights all the time. With a power like that the best way to improve is to use, but if you never need to use it because there is no need for you to do so, well you never really get better.

But you're right, few people would be able to deal with him simply because of how effectively limitless his power allows him to temporarily grow, which is ironic seeing as how Kain himself would in reality not be an S3 level threat AT ALL. It's just his unique ability is actually pretty broken.

Kain also actually eats quite a lot of people, probably at least one every week. Not cause he needs to, or even with the intention of storing calories for use in future fights (that's just a byproduct), he just simply hates humans and legitimately views it as more efficient to eat a human rather than just drink their blood XD unique ability or not, he'd do it anyways

Humanity would never forget that day, the day an asteroid entered Earth's atmosphere and exploded sending out dark purple crystals every where on seven continents. The world's greatest minds didn't know what these crystals were they were beyond normal than any other crystal found on Earth. Eights days after the "Crystal Impact" scientist began to notice that half of the population of Earth had superhuman powers. This was a big discovery for every scientist in the world and they have found something they could not understand. It wasn't long before the world governments took interest in these super humans even going as far to kidnap children with these powers to test them.

While these super humans used their powers for good, there were others who used it for evil. And with it the Earth faced its biggest threat yet by the villian known as Phantom would create destruction across the globe. The international governments decided it was time to combat Phantom and his minions. So they unleashed their own super humans to many they were known as the 'The Heroes of Earth' this team of highly trained super humans was made of ten members, who would be known as the 'Original Ten.' After months of intense fighting the heroes would defeat Phantom and sealing him away in a dark crystal where he could never escape his eternal prison.

After the defeat of Phantom, the world now realizes that there are more superhumans around the world that would cause chaos, so after a historical meeting the United Nations declared that the Heroes Of Earth (HOE) shall be humanity's defense force against the forces of evil and that it is the Original Ten's job to recruit and train the next generation of heroes.

Vince Pierce stood at the front of the HOE Training Center this was where every young superhuman was invited to get the training needed to become the next protector of Earth. And Vince was one of those superhumans to be chosen the young boy brushed his brown hair away from his pale blue eyes as he put the invitation card in his jean's pockets. It would be ten years after the incident the day he got his powers when he was seven years old he walked into his father's lab, who working on dark crystal and quantum fusion believeing that if those two were combined he could create clean energy that could power cars, cities, rockets, and other things that could help humanity. However, the expreiment went wrong and the entire lab exploded leaving his dad injuried and leaving Vince with new powers though the only problem was that Vince would keep on disappearing between Earth and the Quantumverse. His father fearing that his son would completely disappear from existence created a machine implant and placed the device on his son's chest. Now Vince can go between Earth and the Quantumverse at will and due to his connections with the Quantumverse he can summon anything out of thin air or change something. So pretty much he was a teleporter summoner superhuman which he got the attention of the HOE and invited him to come train.

While most young superhumans get excited about getting a invitation, Vince didn't really care about being a hero he wanted to live a normal seventeen year old life. But at the request of his parents he took a plane to Geneva and now he was here about to start a new life.

I don't get why being a hero is so important... There haven't been any major villian threats to the world and most of the villians that do exist are just minor annoyances. Vince thought as he sighed walking towards the center.

((If anyone is interested in joining this start at the front of the training center like you just arrived two players would be nice to have for this RP ^^))

Synnadine wrote:"How burdened indeed, allow me to help lighten this weight from your shoulders, Gentlesmoke~!" Calling out as if she legitimately enjoys hurting Jacob in this way he is promptly given mental warning of an impending Iris underneath him, placing one hand on the ground and pushing up for a strong kick to his chin, which would be followed up promptly by her launching herself into the air during the follow through and doing a backspin to plant her heel into cheekbone, sending him right back down into the sands below face first. If Jacob fails to keep up these dodges he might actually end up disfigured with all this focused face shots XD

ZOCOM wrote:The way she spoke certainly did make him worry that she was actually enjoying herself in beating him up as she was. If anything else it was the perfect incentive to absolutely give it his all to not get hit in the face, and give it his all he did. Her first move was to get in low to kick high into his face, first of all he leaned back so the kick couldn't get his chin "I appreciate the kind gesture!". And with her backspin downwards to get his face again he rushed forwards "But I'm afraid this burden is mine to bare alone." Jacob spun around to defend on the chance she springs for him once her heel planted into the ground, preemptively putting up a full body armament as he did so. "That and I think you're enjoying this too much for me to trust you with my face."

As Jacob finishes vocalizing his distrust Iris's heel plants into the ground. Rather immediately she spins around to face back towards him and kicks off the ground with a flying knee aimed at his face, of course. For this attack he gets no warning. "You can trust me!~" Due to not getting a haki warning, mixed with her speed, he doesn't have time to dodge. Thankfully for himself he preemptively put up defenses just in case so there's that. Jacob does start to feel signs of fatigue now, which is strange. He's had tried and true endurance during battle in the past, and he should be no where near tired just from this simple little thing. It's not Iris's power though, he's felt that enough times to know this ain't it....no, it has to be---

And that's when it hits him, literally. The flying knee hits whatever block he has up.

The sheer speed behind her, Iris was something else when using this kind of speed against him. Again he could barely muster he use of his arms as quickly as she advanced, so he was unlucky enough to take the attack face first. Though the realisation started to hit him as he placed his foot back to try and cushion the recoil, his muscles burned with fatigue. W-What?! I can't be this tired already! No way... I have way more stamina than this! How is she- No wait it isn't her. The Captain suddenly realised that he had not yet felt the toll of this underdeveloped skill of his.

The blow landed true, her knee impacted with his face and within the split second of impact his full body armament art crumbled as he flew back up the beach that he was sent down moments before, landing near the docks as his world was starting to turn black. "Kenbunshoku Haki... I didn't think it would tire me out this quickly... My vision is starting to recede back to just the dock" He says standing back up shakily.

Huh, some of those memes are pretty good. I still cringe from my older RPs, and posts, though...

So do I sometimes granted I'm not saying I'm the best roleplayer though I have improved on my storytelling a small bit and there are a few mistakes here and there like incorrect spellings and weird grammar issues that I don't see when I submit XD

Iris continues to stand while Jacob recovers, politely giving him the chance, as he then speaks up. A sort of lights sparks in her eye as she looks to her elder sister who simply nods and gets up, walking over to them. "It's good that you noticed on your own...." She reaches Iris and places a hand on her shoulder as Iris relaxes. It's pretty clear this spar is over, since Jacob's haki is now running low.

"You only got so tired out because you aren't used to using it yet, applying more effort than what you actually need to, which is normal for someone starting out. That and you had to exert yourself quite a bit to feel out such a large area through Iris's devil fruit right before that fight. For now, give your haki time to recover, so stop using it. We can work on your technique in the mean time. Iris?" The two sisters look to each other for a moment as Iris nods to walk away, falling flat on her back to lay passively in the sand back near where Pearle was before. Pearle then moves a bit to the side and looks to Jacob. "I've seen you in a fight, and on the defensive. Now I want to see you on the offensive. It's your spirit that's tired, but your body should be fine, so push through it and come at me."

No post from John all day, someone call the Eastham police.

Now that I think about it seems Summer is the slowest season for RPing in this region. Though I'm sure everyone is busy during the Summer season, so its understanable.
