How do you like my website template, guys? I have improved greatly over since I first came there - my factbooks were so barebone then! >_< Some host factbooks in other websites, but I don't feel confident enough for that, so website template is ok enough. :p
Thanks! I like to utilize as much free space as possible from existing factbooks, before making new ones, as adding a new factbook in the top bar can be a pretty large hassle sometimes.
*reflects on my literal 70 factbooks. Poker face* uh, yeah...i dont make new ones much either
Khm, I see. Most of them are in your other accounts, I think? Anyways, some of my factbooks are actually multiple shorter preivous factbooks merged together - I use anchors, to navigate through the wall of text nowadays.
Also, am I the only Hearts of Iron IV fan there?
I have roughly equal amounts on each of them. One nation can only have 25 factbooks, the dominant reason I have puppets in the first place XD
Anyone interested in doing a clone wars rp about a Clone Commander and his Jedi General?
Deep inside the bowels of the Senate Metropoli, two witches of great power wrap up the finishing touches to their unholy ritual. The likes of which has never been performed. A protective barrier of great magic lines each wall in their cell like room, preventing the events that are about to unfold within from getting out and wiping out all lesser life on the surface of the Sector. The Knight of Hell now destined to be a victim of this accursed ceremony sits silently, accepting their fate, as the two witches get in position. Both stand on either side of the Knight of Hell and raise their hands, perfectly in line with each other at an outward angle, palms outstretched. Celecia looks to Maria who returns an empty, dead expression as her mistress simply smiles at the corner of her mouth.
Everything has worked out perfectly to plan- A willing sacrifice of great power who couldn't care less about their current situation, by ruining her life and stripping her of any personality. Capturing a perfect Knight of Hell candidate who can't escape. Procuring a magic artifact of great power to help channel the necessary wells of power to properly perform this unnatural bonding of mismatched souls. Obtaining the slew of various other items and herbs needed to efficiently harness and focus this power. Now it is all in place and ready to set in motion. With that in mind, Celecia begins her chant loud and clear....as Maria mutters the exact same chant, in unison, under her softened breath.
"Ut animam meam
Ad eos qui faciunt
Per animam meam
Ne forte vincere mea"
A soft wind begins to swirl around the room, picking up dust and rustling their clothing
"Auferes malum istud sacrificium offero
Data potestas ut metatur relicto
Non est, non duo, sed hoc unio trium
Ludens sua quisque parte ad novam immortalem"
The winds pick up, now beginning to buffet their bodies with increasing intensity.
"Iuvenis corpus sempiternum
A animae vita perpetua est
A crimen in perpetua potestate
A quiddam sese donandi in perpetua"
An ominous tone now fills the air and the Knight of Hell begins to be surrounded in a purplish black haze of magical energy, lifting it off its feet. While before it showed fear in the face of this event, to nothing, now...now it's smiling, eyes closed as it looks up.
"Universo ritu meo pati
Miscere inter nos fac mecum
Dona mihi animam, dona mihi vires"
Now swirling around the entire room the purple haze is feeding directly to both Maria and Celecia in equal volumes as well as between them, forming a link between all three participants willing and otherwise. With a final push of power Celecia shouts in confidence the final line of her chant, the line that is supposed to complete the ritual. A sudden ominous sensation could be felt by all throughout the Sector in this very moment, for some it is fleeting...for others it is lingering. Like the darkest of evils is being realized somewhere in the world but they can't tell where. Those who are more attuned to magic would all turn their heads, able to pinpoint at least the general area that this is happening, all through the cold sweat that begins to drip from them.
Only, Celecia's voice wasn't the only one that yelled out this final line....
"ET HOC EST SUPREMUM SACRIFICUM!"
"ET HOC EST SUPREMUM SACRIFICUM!"
In a look of absolute horror Celecia's eyes snap over to her servant, face filled with furious determination, as the mistress calls out in confusion. The power of the ritual now erupts as the Knight of Hell begins to laugh maniacally, both Maria and Celecia now being forcing to try and overpower the other to make the opposite the sacrifice for the ritual. The haze of magic power whips around the room virtually uncontrolled, slashing at each of the witches like weaponized tendrils bent on murdering them, as each of them uses sheer magical force to push the tendrils away from them. Simultaneously these tendrils hack away at the un-resisting Knight of Hell, who continues to laugh the whole way through, as its very existence is torn asunder, being reduced to little more than a sphere of raw demonic energy in the process. Caught off guard, Celecia can't help but remain silent as she is now thrusted into a situation she had not expected, before finally gathering the cognitive barrings to yell over the hurricane of power.
"Maria, what are you doing?! What is the meaning of this?!"
Maria looks back to Celecia, shouting between fighting back the magical haze attempting to reduce her to a disembodied soul as she tries to direct haze of her own to do the same to Celecia "You took EVERYTHING from me, how weak of a person did you think I am?! You thought I'd just become an empty shell ripe for your grooming just like that?! Just lie back and let the person I knew to be responsible be my uncontested 'mistress'?! No, I have been WAITING for my opportunity, my chance for you to slip up! Being exactly what you wanted me to be until then! You thought you'd have an easy sacrifice in this ritual, you thought you'd been manipulating me all this time, but you were wrong! I've been manipulating you you STUPID bítch! And now you're going to be my sacrifice so I can rid this world of you forever!"
Responding her to inner rage a brief flurry of tendrils assault Celecia, causing her to get struck and receive a few small gashes, but she manages to deflect them well enough. "This isn't how this was supposed to happen! You were supposed to become part of me, your soul was supposed to protect me against the demons corrupting influence!"
"And for the first time in a long time, someone isn't letting you have your way!" Through her words Maria now gets slashed by a tendril she failed to deflect, causing a deep gash in her left shoulder blade, but she does not wince or show pain. Only more determination.
"After all this time, you choose now to betray me?!"
"You can't betray someone you were never loyal to in the first place, Celecia!"
With those words something triggers in the ancient witches mind....Celecia. This servant, no, slave that she created has denounced her loyalty. Has blatantly betrayed her. Is actively trying to see to it that she is reduced to little more than a soul meant to absorb a demons corruption. Now, on top of all that, her underling would so callously and casually refer to her by direct name. Her efforts of controlling and deflecting tendrils momentarily falter as a wrathful flurry of Maria’s will unleashes upon her, prompting her to quickly snap back to her senses as she deflects it all to avoid an assimilated death.
Shouting out over the howling winds and clashing power, Celecia calls out again to Maria, who is matching her in power and skill...though to Celecia’s knowledge, she should be far more powerful than her former slave. ”You shouldn’t be this strong?!”
”Why wouldn’t I be?! YOU MADE ME!”
In another burst of defiance Maria lashes out, taking fine control over the haze around her in a direct attempt to make it consume Celecia and end this. In a split second decision Celecia reigns in her own mass of the haze but instead of targeting Maria, she goes after this other power in the room- The remains of the Knight of Hell, wrapping around the sphere of power that remains from it. Pulling upon this power and blasting away Maria's attempts to kill her, all she has to do is absorb it and she will win in an instant. Only just as quickly as she had begun to pull on it something else pulls back, it is Maria who immediately realized her former mistress's attention. Maria was so caught up in kill Celecia during this, who in turn was caught up trying to not let that happen, that both had forgotten entirely about the Knight of Hell.
As the moments pass focus shifts from killing each other to pulling on the Knight of Hell's soul, until eventually neither are directing any of the haze in a way that makes it attack the other. All the control they have is focused on pulling in the Knight of Hell to their side and with it, the other witch, in a high stakes tug of war. Haze still whips around the room now even more violently than before, and it only worsens with every moment that passes. Here and there some of the haze manages to cause wounds on both witches, but neither one gives enough of a break in their defense to be assimilated. Doing so would cause the same thing that happened to the Knight of Hell to happen to them, giving the other witch the victory. Naturally neither one can afford to let that happen, as it means their death.
Both now in fits of determined rage for their own reasons, each begin to scream as they exert themselves farther to try and win the power teetering between them. More and more the haze picks up until eventually the room is blindingly filled with the hurricane of power, buffeting both witches in the storm as they can now hardly see their own nose before them. Wounds appearing on them left and right their battle cries grow in intensity before finally reaching the pinnacle- Neither one can give anymore, they are operating on overdoses of adrenaline now. And that's when it happens.
Celecia stands with her feet firmly planted, pulling at the Knight of Hell with all the power she can possibly muster and more, when she notices herself get pulled ever so slightly. Her eyes widen in disbelief as she is pulled a second time, in a slightly larger amount than the previous. "No, no no no no no! This can't be happening!" Again Celecia is pulled towards Maria as she now begins to gain the advantage. Celecia tries with all her force to pull harder but is unable to do so.
"DAMMIIIIIIIT!" Her back leg lifts just barely off the ground as the hazy hurricane all around them seems to explode, calming down immediately after to a harmless and settling fog.
Nothing could be seen through the all encompassing fog, that just moments prior had been trying to assimilate anything and everything that couldn't push it away. An eerie silence is all that could be sensed as the barrier around them, that had been containing this whole mess to their room, collapses. It's then that a lone cough can be heard, someone trying to catch their breath after overexerting themselves. Their silhouette begins to come barely visible through the fog, laying face down in the concrete as they manage to prop themselves up on their hands and knees. "It's no good...I'm out." The form looks up through the fog, seeing a malformed silhouette of some creature through it, before form changes size and shape into a more humanoid form.
"You won, Maria..." Celecia speaks out in a low, solemn tone. She accepts her fate.
As the fog clears the figure opposite to the defeated Celecia straightens it's back, coming more into view, speaking in a calm tone. It sounds similar to Maria, though a fair bit deeper. "I am not Maria..."
Celecia's eyes again fill with shock as she looks to the figure, which is now in full view. "This, this isn't...." Her head falls limp, curling her fingers against the cement as she feels the magic power coming from the creature. It's twisted, warped. Beyond unnatural...not to mention powerful.
"What the hell are you...."
"The beginning of a new era." The being exhales calmly as a cold blue air comes from it's mouth.
"What happened to Maria?!" Celecia lashes out, trying to dive off the ground but she lacks any strength, so instead she simply falls forward.
"She is part of me. A part of who----" The creature looks up, seemingly contemplating its new existence. "No, what I am. It is wrong to say I am not Maria, but it is wrong to say I am. It is equally right and wrong to say I'm the Knight of Hell you destroyed to help birth me into existence. The fact is I am both of them and neither of them." She looks over slowly to Celecia, keeps it's head tilted upwards as it now stares to the defeated witch with cold, dead eyes. "I am the first true fusion between a mortal and an enochian in body and soul."
Celecia looks back to, well whatever this thing before her is. She stops trying to get up and instead lays there, face down, waiting for death...which the creature notices. "You wish for me to kill you...how pathetic. Your time will come. But first, I will crush the world you know. The world you depend on. Once you've lost everything, that is when you will die. You are owed at least that much for all you've done."
Celecia nearly gets up but a hand is quickly and forcefully placed on the back of her head, pinning her to the ground as the creature leans in and smiles maliciously directly in her face. "As it stands, you'll simply know me as creature or thing, wouldn't you? That simply won't do. I need a name. A name you can identify me by, a name this dimension can recognize. A name to keep you awake at night as your world gets broken down."
"JUST, KILL ME!"
Celecia provides a moment of resistance but the hand upon the back of her head pushes down harder, causing her to cry out in pain for a moment while the creature inches in closer, whispering in her ear directly. "When the source of your power is cut off, you will remember my name. When you realize your weakness, you will remember my name. When you try to sleep at night you will remember my name. When you close your eyes you will see me and when you try to engage in the pleasures of the flesh like the filthy whore of a mortal you are, all you will be able to think of is me." The creature pushes away to lift itself back up, using Celecia's head for leverage as it stands up straight. "My name will be Hell Knight Maria, a call back to the origins that I have you to thank for....I'll be in touch."
With that the Hell Knight disappears in an instant, without a trace, as Celecia lays there. A few stray tears shed down her face as her world goes black, and she loses consciousness. The last thing she sees are the Bands of Rynos rolling along the floor to her, jarred free during the hurricane winds...
OOC: I feel the second part isn't as good as the first, but it should still be a good, strong post. There was just a two week disconnect somewhere in there on account of me getting sick. Apologies. But it's done!
Well looks like Celecia is getting hers but at the expense of the entire sector. I can't say I approve of the method, or that name, but I do approve of the execution.
\\D*3c$n'5 mental scape//
Within the conquered psyche of the defeated mortal, within the body of a false deity made from the mortals own consciousness, there sat a rearranged scape. No longer flooded... No cross, no toretured mindscape, no husk laid upon a crucifix. All their was was a small scape, one with a bright mist laid floor with a table and chairs in the centre of this smaller scape. Two beings sat at it, on the left, sat a tall and foreboding figure. Hardened chiseled features, a tanned complexion with black hair and green eyes. The other was a meek and vacant, their complexion pale and sickly with golden locks and eyes of hazel. All look of rebellion or survival gone as they stared blankly into the groves and detail in the wood table before them, no chains, no cross, nothing as they slump in that chair. The other, the conqueror, smiled as he sat back. "You know... Being a part of you was fun. Aaand I just don't mean that to sound cocky or disrespectful I truly mean it. You seemed larger than life to me! Always so proud and noble, though... I wonder if that was just all because I made you that way. No... You were pretty proud to begin with. But. You were more like that girl. Strong willed, brash and fiery. You had your stoic moments, but that was in a fight. Outside you were more... Aimless, you had no rhyme or reason to do things, battle was your life. That I couldn't change about you. Even when you were small and weak you were a thick headed and stubborn fool... I wonder if that was why she drew your attention... Because despite all that she made her life work. Despite being hurtled 4000 or whatever many years into the future she still made her life work. Well, if you can call what's happening right now 'life'. I'm sure she must be tearing up something bad right now after I absorbed you." The conqueror says as he starts to drip down a mug that appeared in his hands.
The conquered stay vacantly staring at the table, not even breathing as their lifeless eyes just stare. Silent in this exchange. The smile withered on the face of the conqueror as he looked troubled "... I already miss your constant backchat. Now that I have what I want I... I kinda hate it." He says grunting as he looks to the ceiling "You're a part of me now instead of the other way around. And you're silent. Yielding... Is this how all the other Lost feel? Huh... Maybe I should at least tell everyone what your final thoughts were." At first he meant that to sound spiteful but there was a drip of empathy that shined through in tone that surprised the Lost for a moment before he shook his head. "Hmm... Now that I have your body maybe I should actually have a name? I can't continue calling myself Duncan. That's... Kinda morbid. What's your full name? Duncan Cross... No.... No you had a middle name, what was it... Colère? Hmm... His mother was french. Translation... Anger, Wrath, Passion... Displeasure, tantrum... Heh. How ironic. Hahaha... It fits perfectly." With a twisted sense of irony the warped personality stood up from his chair to smile down at the husk that he had left "Colère. It'll do for now I think. With that all settled and squared away I think I'll enjoy living this new life of mine... Even if I wish this did end differently." He says pushing off the table and walking over, ruffling his hand through the golden locks of the husk as he went back to the outside world, to take life by the horns.
The name is just what Celecia will know her by, and what the creature expects Celecia to know her by. A direct jab to the fact that Maria only exists in this manner as a direct result of Celecia's actions and choices.
That choice in name is in and of itself a humiliating insult to Celecia.
Beyond that....this creature could care less about names. More than likely character factbook will probably just be The Hell Knight.
Nano, Kali, and Aylokin soon fired a powerful ki blast destroying the body that Victor was in once the dust settled Aylokin defused and Kali went back to her base form.
"That was amazing! You two being fused together really works out." Kali said patting Aylote's back.
"Yeah we make a great team." Erkin said.
"What took you two so long anyway?" Kali asked crossing her arms.
"We kinda had a few mishaps when we tried to fuse." Aylote said chuckling nervously as he rubbed the back of his head.
"And then after that we spent five minutes trying to figure out a name for our fusion." Erkin said.
While the three Saiyans talked Nano looked over and saw future Sabi looking down at her.
"Right lets return to our HQ and tell the good news." Aylote said.
"You coming with us Nano?"
"You three go on ahead I'm going to stay here and make sure those Demon Witches didn't leave any nasty surprises." Nano said.
Aylote nodded and the three of them flew back to base.
After everyone left future Sabi floated down and met with Nano.
"Well this is a surprise I always wondered what you would like once you grew up." Nano said smiling a bit.
"Its good to meet you in this timeline mother." Future Sabi said.
Whoa where did this drop in activity come from?
Don't know about everyone else, but for me...life got rough.
Sorry to hear that dude hope everything will be okay soon.
So, Republic Commando is free on Xbox right now....
This does beg the question though, what happened to everyone? I know why I haven't been around. Putnam gets busy a lot. But John? He's always here. Hope he's okay.
I hope so too he usually replies to all of my RPs when I post.
A portal would open under the pile of ashes that were left behind, taking Victor as they would see him starting to reform again with a smile on his face. "Thanks for the fight!" The portal closed soon after. Though now with everyone enjoying themselves with their new realisation of how strong fusion can be. All the commotion with future Sabi would be unhindered seeing as the danger had finally passed.
I'm okay, there are just afew issues at home that I'm getting... Swept up in
Sounds like we are both going through personal life issues then.
Sorry to hear that friend.
It's not so bad now, but yeah it sounds like we are about in the same boat current
