I liked John's post that made me laugh out loud, literally, five times.... :P
Wab's second like was obligatory, because edit. First like was for the first part of the post, second like was for the edit that was made AFTER the initial like :P
WTF they made me go through my filling raw!
The feeling of overwhelming doom slowly crushes the landscape, the land and rubble contrasting with sharpening golden light and darkening shadows from the west. The holy light, independent of Enochian chains, grew closer and closer like the sun rising. "I can't believe it, seeing a Holy Inquisitor with my own eyes." She can see the little imp, only seeing his back as he walks towards the distant light. "Can't say that I expected this so soon, I'm going to have to force my evolution." Yolg looks back at Celecia, catching her gaze away from the nearing Inquisitor as his eyes begin to glow. "You're about to see a god be reborn sweety, let's hope that I'm enough."
The little imp looks forward once again as he stretches his hands out and towards the earth, calling something towards him as green liquid begins to ooze out from under his glowing white eyes. Red and black cracks in the ground begin to spread out from under his feet and eat their way through the earth and rubble.
Deep in the demon realm of Yolg, the Demon King sits upon his throne. The leathery skull shines restless as his flesh begins to turn into green liquid and soak into his throne. "For this woman, against a High Inquisitor... I am truly part of a foolish god." The creature lets out a creaking laugh as it melts fully into the throne, his guardian Knights of Hell whirling around to watch their master disappear in shock, only for them to feel every piece of the god disappear, the countless in the plane, in Perdition, in the Material world, even those who had infiltrated other realms. Each answered the call of the Imp, lord of Yolg and the darkest tricks in the realms of evil.
The Imp's flesh rips apart with bursts of glowing green liquid, contrasting the rustic red of his flesh, spreading apart to make room for a larger frame. His brown tunic rips with his expanding chest, laying it bare as its bottom tattered edges barely reach his ribcage. He reaches up with growing hands to opposite shoulders to rip away sleeves far too small to contain his larger arms, tossing them aside as he snaps his now extremely small shoes and tights, more of shorts now, into a more comfortable fit. The cheeky face stretches and grows grim, slight shadow coating a stronger jawline under the glowing eyes, his horns extending straight forward before sharply bending up to the sky before curling slightly towards the back of his head into sharp tips. His tail remains, whipping through the air with a crack as the reborn lord emerges, the true form of the demon that slayed the last master of the plane of Yolg. Standing over six foot, easily doubling his impish height, an aura of seriousness, a need for bloodshed echoes through reborn Yolg's being. The power that Celecia can feel emanating from the anti-deity makes what snipped the Imp had a dust in front of a hurricane. But what was coming towards them made the Imp look like dust as well.
Yolg finally turns his head back to Celecia as the last droplets of his fusing liquid roll down his aesthetically muscled body, the glow of his eye cracking like an eggshell and fall away in pieces, revealing that the last remnant of the Imp was gone. Red pupils and irises burn on seas of silver that dig deep into her soul, the Imp's high pitched sneers transformed into a smooth, dark purr, the voice of a tempter of sin. "I will buy you some time to escape, my little witch. I cannot promise success, as we are already within his anchoring spells. Ah," The demon lord turns, "Here he is now."
Never before has a human held this kind of intensity. Rouq literally burns with golden fire, his entire being and the air around him sizzles with righteous fury as he plants his staff into the dirt. "Celecia Sterling, you have been found guilty for the acts of murder, assault, and illegal use of life extention. And," His green eyes burn. "With the creation of a human-Enochian hybrid. Your life is for-"
Light erupts from between Rouq and Yolg, a blinding storm that forces Celecia to shield her eyes until it fades a few seconds later. Smoke emanates from in between the two combatants, the Inquisitor's attention now on the newly aloof demon lord. "My business is not with you, Demon King."
"The Demon King is but a part of the whole." Yolg's head slightly tilts, the end of his tail twitching. "And you made it my business when you got involved in it. Now you will pay the price of my displeasure."
"I do not have the time or patience for a newly risen Chthonian." Light now bursts between Rouq and Celecia and between the Inquisitor and Yolg. Even if she had her full breadth of magical power, she may not have been able to count how many spells, counter spells, and counter counters chained together in that instant, the instant battle of two monsters of magic from a world that Hell Knight Maria opened the door to. What was worse, was the fact that she would have to escape on foot, at least until she found a car or atmos that still worked after the botched ritual and the battle that is about to begin between a man of the light and creature of the dark.
Celecia slowly rises to her feet in silent awe, taken completely aback by Yolg's transformation...and then the physical sight of Rouq. She knew someone dangerous had been on her tail for a long time by now, or rather she had assumed...but she did not expect this.
Not by a long shot.
For possibly the first time in Celecia's life she has faced utter defeat and, now, absolute fear. She isn't sure how to handle herself as the first flash of light fills the air, Yolg's words not quite settling in her mind yet as she wraps her head around everything. But by the time Yolg mentions his displeasure Celecia is on her feet and running as fast as she can, leaving the second flurry of magical bursts behind her. She needs space, she needs time. No, she needs somewhere to hide. Even if she were at her peak, she can feel there would still be a gross disparity between herself and this man. Something that makes her feel a whole mix of emotions at her very core.
She has always been afraid of death, afraid of being weak. Not being the strongest. And now she has to face all these fears in the worst situation imaginable. Running from an enemy who could kill her in a snap, just like she's done to so many others. Too afraid to really think or do anything else she just runs...as fast as she can.
My my, such horrors unwrapping on the material plane
This hybrid is the kind of shifty stuff that Salem loves messing with
Chaos and Insanity Realm
Both Ryker and Lucas appeared in the Realm as weird looking creatures and soldiers danced to a neverending circus tune the Realm could drive any mortal into insanity if they stayed a hour in it. Luckily for the both them they won't stay here this long and get the person they need to recruit.
"Are you sure you want to recruit Jestress of all people?" Ryker asked as he plugged his ears as the annoying circus like music kept playing through out the Realm.
"I mean wasn't she the one that gave Ray's soul way in the first place?"
"While that may be the case she did make me her Champion after I fought her, so she owes me a favor." Lucas said.
Just then a pile of cards started to form in front them as Jestress popped out of the stack of cards.
"Well welly well! My Grand Champion survived the destruction of his multiverse! Boy its wonderful to see you here in my Realm!" Jestress exclaimed as she summoned an apple only to eat it in one bite.
"So what brings you and Mr. Knight guy over there to my Realm?"
"We need your help fighting against Soul King and his armies. He plans on unleashing Onka, the Omniverse Destroyer, so that the Aeritian Omniverse may restart." Lucas explained.
"Soul King plans to unleash a Omniverse Destroyer Titan? Man that sounds like a really foolish plan and I'm usually the one with foolish plans!" Jestress said.
"He does know that Titan's are waaaaaaaay stronger than Divine Beings right? Right?"
"He believes that with Ray's Soul he can control Onka." Ryker said joining the conversation.
"Well now that's just foolish thinking! Sounds like Soul King has completely lost his mind!" Jestress said as she floated upside down.
"Which is why we need your help and your minions to help us fight back so we can prevent Soul King from unleashing Onka onto the Aeritian Omniverse. So will you help us?" Lucas asked.
"Of course I will!" Jestress said without hesitation.
"Wait... Just like that your going to offer help?" Ryker asked.
"Well of course! Onka is a threat to me and my Realm as well and besides if I get eaten by Onka then there would be no chaos and insanity in the Omniverse! Which would be a boring Omniverse if I might add." Jestress said.
"That and because Lucas is my favorite Champion!"
"Thank you Jestress now all that's left to do is find Soul King and stop his plans from coming full circle." Lucas said.
I've been doing some work for my Universe 9 peeps. I've only really added Felix and abunch of new placeholder stands for later assignment. Or if anyone else wants them really
I can't....theres 2 more of them...imma die
OOC: In other news, I felt suddenly nostalgic and decided to look in to something. Good ol' Hawaii. Turns out the region officially died out completely 49 days ago and was refounded by someone, who is now the sole resident acknowledging "It used to be an RP region but was wiped out by the black hawks, and now it is mine". Beyond that Derpy Derpers (Nathan) officially died out 6 days ago, Chrissy's Sweat and Tears nation died out 13 days ago so she's probably done with NS for good, I can't remember the name of Floyd's nation but if Chrissy is done he likely is too, and Jon? Well if any of you can even remember him, his nation died out a little over a year ago now. Not gonna lie, on one hand I feel a little mournful over that, remembering the good times we all once had. But on the other hand I can be surprisingly vindictive and remember that they pretty much threw the friendship out themselves soooo XD Come to think of it Floyd and Chrissy would be...oh...18/19 now? Hm. And Jan would be 19/20 if I remember her age right. Wonder how the lot of them have matured, or if they to this day still only cared about baby making factory and furry rp's :P
Sounds like you had some interesting folks back then XD
'Interesting' is certainly....a word for it :P
Huh, one day I noticed, that the embassy with Hawaii was not up anymore, and then I decided to check, what happened. And yeah, someone had taken that region, and refounded it... For a while, I wondered, if someone else from our region has noticed that as well. (I don't know much, what happened in the past, as I didn't even knew about this region back then, as I mostly wandered in the depths of F7, but still...)
Well, talking about Hawaii means we're talking about 4 years in the past, so there's that :P
Ah, I see... 4 years ago, huh? I didn't even knew about NationStates existence back then. :p (I first found out about it about 3 years ago, from a Youtuber, named Voidviper. My first nation was factbookless, of which I forgot password rather quickly. I have gone a looong road since then in terms of RP quality.)
Yep. Our WFE says it all, those of us who have been here since the original TGC have been using NS for pushing 7 years now :P Might I say our own RP quality has improved a LOT in the time.
Huh, I see. Damn, how fast the time sometimes runs... At one point, it's still 2013, and you are still young, but fast-forward, and it's 2019 already. :p Wabacha is one of the oldest, I assume? And yeah, I can see, that your RP quality has improved. Hell, I still cringe from my first RPs in there... I wonder, if I could crank out way longer responses, if I tried to RP there once again, as I have no idea, what RP to join.
Sangheili was the first, then Wabacha and an old friend Senoheir, then me. Within the span of about 2 months our Junior/11th year of high school. There were others after that as well, plenty of others. There was a whole gaggle of classmates and, through Wabs younger sibling, middle schoolers as well who we RPed with every day while in school. Unfortunately our school system blocked NS and just about everyone stopped logging in. There was something like 20 of us at our peak, spread across 60 primary nations and puppets.
Alas, that's in the past :P
Ahh, I see... So, you were a small, but active community back then. :p And, that sucks. :( But I can understand, why school would do that - NS is a time vacuum, which distracts you from learning. :p As of now, I feel, that only visitors we have these days are those, who arrive, when our region gets featured. I mean, I perhaps might be the most recognizable guy from there in Forum 7, but I am not sure, if anyone gives a damn, from which region I am anymore. xD
Also, what songs you have been listening to lately? I am currently a big fan of Northern Haze - an Inuit rock/metal group from Canada, formed in the good ol' 1978. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAflHne54fA
