Bucuresti, Rumania - The unemployment rate has continued to steadily climb to 17% after the initial wave of layoffs two months ago, making this recession the worst in Rumanian history. The overall reduction in both public and government spending has damaged the economy, which has been suffering from worsening inflation and lack of demand. Several Rumanian banks including the Constanta-Iasi National Bank, the largest bank in Rumania, has requested Federal backing in the event that they run out of physical money, a request which has been reluctantly accepted by the Federal Reserve under the pressure of the President; however, the backing wasn't secured without a fight, the Minister of Finance -- the head of the Federal Reserve -- fought the President on the matter, arguing that backing the banks would only lead to worse inflation if a run on the banks were to occur, but the Minister of Finance finally acquiesced after being pressured by several other member of the government. As a result of the recession, several large Rumanian retail corporations and auto manufacturers , already teetering on the brink of ruin, have declared bankruptcy; leaving millions more unemployed. The collapse and dissolution of these large companies have caused additional problems for the government, as the former employees of these companies are not only left unemployed, but they are also lacking the benefits provided by their employers such as severance pay and for those who have retired, pension, which is not being given to those who were employees for companies which have gone under and subsequently dissolved. As a result, the government welfare system has become significantly overburdened, unable to file all the unemployment requests and lacking the money necessary to provide for the large numbers of unemployed, due to recent budget reductions. Additionally, the Public Healthcare system has also had budgetary issues, while Rumania has an extensive univeral healthcare system companies must provide partial coverage of the healthcare costs depending on the number of employees they have, and with a reduction of income from the private sector, public health officials have sounded the alarm on the security and stability of the healthcare system. The recession has also forced many businesses, under pressure from the government to remain open in Rumania, to close their overseas branches, including auto manufacturer MALAXA and the major news company Libertatea.

RP: A New Movement
It was bound to happen. Whenever war is prevalent among the innumerable masses of ordinary citizens, when families are torn apart, when sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters are slain on the frontlines, unrest slowly begins to spread. Orators clothed in black cloaks have begun to pop up in certain nations, preaching on street corners, in comedy clubs, and in fancy restaurants. They preach of everlasting life, of the death of pain and suffering, and of a life where all of the cares of the world cease to matter. They speak fluently in the languages of the nations they preach in, and they ask for nothing, nothing at all, save that those they preach to listen for but a moment. For those that choose to stay and listen, these preachers offer pristine violet crystals that are pleasing to the eye. They say that these crystals will allow you to achieve this perfect form of life. Embedded in each of the preachers' foreheads is a single violet crystal, like the others, though unlike those they hand out, theirs appear to glow faintly in the sunlight, as well as in the darkness of the night.

The members of the Incheon city Congress calls for an emergency assembly in response to the Artaecusian government sending military aid to Incheon. The main reason that Incheon having no established military, but instead relying on various militias of the Incheon populace to defend the nation. Why Incheon doesn't standing a standing army, was simply put no need for it since there was no hostilities towards it, with Whicistaion and now North kowen potentially threatening it's existence. With some citizens seeing Archron empire giving control back to North Kowen as a negative thing, with many spectulating that North Kowen will begin to aggressively harass the state via military force.
The Incheon parliament along with President P'il Nam-Seon, while allowing other Artaecusian efforts such as reform of the education system under Artaecusian guidance and for the start hydroponic farming (VAt meat production facilities while still allowed, most Incheon citizens look upon the system with disgust.) Military equipment and the construction of permanment military bases (along with forifications), and the installation of an Iron Dome have so far failed to pass the parliament in order to accept the necessary aid and pressuring President P'il Nam-Seon to refuse the aid, which he did. Although later the Incheonian diplomat to Artaecus defended the move in a private telephone call to the Artaecusian delegate to Incheon: "We're really only wanting to take the necessary steps in ensuring our national security, we don't want to escalate the situation any further then we have to."
Nam-Seon, who is running for re-election (which Incheon's next election cycle happening soon), is unlikely to accept the military aid unless he has to, The Kowenian Star reports, due to militarization being a hot topic currently in Incheon.
RP: Unforseen Visitors
Given the isolated and peaceful nature of the Kingdom, it wasn't the Armada that caught sight of the vessel, but rather the civilian fishing fleets that frequented the waters around the archipelago. RP: A Chance Encounter
One its way to make another round of patrols, the relatively lax crew of the battlecruiser ADV Luxuriant spotted a vessel approaching from outside the Kingdom's outer border. With a few blasts of its horn the warship would come closer to see who the newcomers were.

Naturally her mind, and that of everyone else in attendence was filled with innumerable questions about their counterparts.
