RP: Reconstruction Completed
After years of work in the western provinces of Texar the last portions of Blayre von Krieg City and Port Justice have been completed in the rebuilding effort. Although most of the major cities, towns, and military bases have been reconstructed many families are left to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives ruined by the War. Although the economy there is inferior compared to other portions of eastern Texar and the eastern provinces of Blayredeshia in Dixia; it seems for now that the west has returned to a semblance of normalcy. As a result of the reconstruction efforts the Blayredeshian Security Forces now stand vastly demilitarized due to Emperor Blayre III's focus on allocating more funds and focus to rebuilding efforts, but now he has shown no sign of wishing to remilitarize for aggressive manners and Blayredeshia has even gone as far to reach out to Accord nations such as Rekken, Schwypia, and the Rumanian States to offer them free trade agreements. The mother of the Blayredeshian heir to the throne; Duchess Anne, who would act as Princess Victoria's regent should the Emperor pass away before she is old enough to govern on her own has also stated that Blayredeshian foreign policy would continue to grow increasingly pacifist once her daughter takes the throne. Statements like these to the public have angered a large corps of the Blayredeshian officer corps and the public who remain conservative and in some cases rather chauvinist especially members of the High Command such as General in Chief Bell, Grand Admiral de la Croix, and Air Marshall Klan who many suspect have formed an unofficial triumvirate behind closed doors.

RP: New thing!

After a wild party in a remote village in the north of Dushkaria, what was thought to be a party drug turns out to be a highly dangerous viscous substance with odd properties. These effects where found when one unlucky soul attempted to boil the so called "Gnorf" substance which in turn caused an electrical fire as the liquid discharged electricity and shortly thereafter solidified to a porous concrete like structure, some other more lucky soul apparently put it in their fridge which caused the liquid to corrode the container it was in and of course the fridge until it evaporated quite quickly. The scientific community dubs this substance Elerium while the populace have given it the name of "Gnorf"

Kavastor, teleportation, warping, portal jumping, displacement.Whatever you want to call it or claim will not work here. What Rumanian States has said still applies. Just because something has basis in reality doesn’t mean it is allowed here, for example, space weapons and nuclear weapons are two big examples of things we have or can develop in reality but do not allow in RP. This is because their usage is problematic for fair RP. The same applies for any attempt at having tech that allows matter to travel faster than conventional speeds. The Voidnukes will stand.

OORP:
A. Displacement is a term in used in physics to describe the movement of an object from the origin, it as a scalar quantity, has a vector quantity equivalent -distance

B. Warping speed is a convention speed (technically velocity) as it moves using enough energy to pace around light speed, this, near a gravitational well (such as a planet, singularity or black hole) moves at super sonic speeds because of the effects generated by another object producing force that acts as en external source of interference, this means that warping at unconventional speeds that you are referring to (Faster than the speed. of light which is around 3x10 to the power of 8 meters per second) is only possible in space where the effects of gravity are minimized).

C. The creation of super dense substances has no effects to rp that things like Archinite does not. As I understand, is not void nuked, which means that it is cannon, so what is there to de- canonize about a the pushing of electron and neutron degeneracy pressure. Also, if Archinite is a chemical/substance/material that possesses an almost fusion level of potential energy, then that means that it can move at a beyond supersonic speed and have an energy yield that is beyond that of a conventional energy source or weapon.

D. The physics behind what I am describing are all not only common, but all proved in theory and reality- and yes, high-school level

Kowenian states wrote:RP: Group of con artists posing to be private construction company, scams money out of international investors.
The search is on for a group of con men who posed as a private construction company that claimed to have been approved to begin the process of constructing a canal to go through Rekken. The group had proposed a plan to various foreign investors around Kalrania stating they needed the funding to begin preparations for construction.

To sweeten the deal, the group had proposed papers that stated they were given permission to build on the land by the Rekkenian government and even had detailed blueprints down to the kilometers in how long and wide the canal would be. They also stated that early supporters would not only have their name on a plaque to acknowledge their financial part, but also even be paid dividends from people paying to use the canal. Not to mention that the canal would be very popular due to it being able to save so much time compared to going around the entire continent.

The "company" - while not targeting any specific nation - heavily focused on proposing the idea of the canal to private investors in Schwypia, Artaecus, and even Kemonomica. The scam had gone on for about two months with the "company" stating it had begun construction on the project, although investors stopped hearing from the company about twenty days before news broke out. A private investor contacted a small branch of the Rekkenian government about the progress of construction on the canal. After the Rekken officials said there was no canal being worked on, word had gotten out that the company was serving as a scheme to commit fraud. Rekkenian authorities had also discovered a lot of money had been wired from the "company" through their bank system, to multiple international banks such as Kavastor, Doge Land, and other nations. The money from those banks in other nations led back to bank accounts in the Kowenian states, leading authorities to believe the scam had been orchestrated by Kowenian nationals.

The fraud scheme had gone way in depth though, with the con men providing fake credentials and faking the papers to give them permission to build in Rekken. Rumors circulate that the con men had an insider within the Rekkenian government on providing advice on how to fake (or even providing templates of) Rekkenian government documents.

The scheme is suspected to have stolen a collective of over 500 billion Rekkenian munnies worth of currency of the foreign investors who were scammed by the fraud. It stands as one of the largest, with some Kowenian news agencies claiming it is the largest, acts of fraud on an international scale on Kalrania.

31 August 2110 | The invitation to the Liranaholm was received three days later due to complications with the long-range communication network and several incompatibilities with the satellite communications network. A response confirming the Xin-Fael Federation's wishes to attend the meeting would not come for another week as Xin-Fael scientists tried to figure out a way to beam back a message. Then lay the main issue: the fact that Liranaholm was out of the range of most of Xin-Fael aircraft. Although a select few heavy lifters could reach the destination, they were kept in reserve for special military tasks and the military wasn't too willing to give them up. If the sea route is taken, they would be required to utilize military ships (mainly fast combat support ships) which wouldn't look good for a diplomatic mission. Fiercewood wrote:RP: New Visitors

Sea of Trendaline | 28 Jan 2109 | The foreigners were not exactly the spitting image of what the members of Second Lieutenant Yoon's squad. Sure, they had seen pictures of the otherworldy pure-blood elves and the grandeur of high noble society within the Han nations, but at least their technology and magics were familiar. These foreign beings, while resembling humans, seemed to be the outworlders and, in a sense, they were. And yet for all the oddities of the lesser soldiers, staff, and officers, the one that stuck out like a sore thumb was the massive winged being that stood above all the others. It was as though a god had descended from the heavens and stepped onto their shores. For such a being, the current setting was simply too dull in comparison. The second lieutenant wasn't sure whether he should kowtow or run away in fear. Ultimately, however, he was just frozen in place, in awe of what was before him.

It was all the more surprising when the massive being began speaking in Hanese. Sergeant Kang, snapping out of the trance first, would quietly dispel her primal star incantation that enabled the second lieutenant to speak in English. The voice was commanding yet calming, and strange wave washed over the simple soldiers of the Xin-Fael Army. The remaining eight troops of the squad would instinctively clasp their hands together and bow deeply in response to the curtsy. Taking a deep breath, Second Lieutenant Yoon would respond shakily at first.

Second Lieutenant Yoon: (in Hanese) "Y... yes your grace. I am Second Lieutenant Yoon Si-woo of the Xin-Fael Ground Force, 14th Battalion of the Namdong. This is Sergeant Kang Jung-Sook, my second-in-command, and these are my men. I humbly welcome you, Sword Saint, to the Xin-Fael Federation. We are graced by your visit. I would like to invite you and your... men... to a cup of tea as we discuss your arrival. It... it's a tradition to invite guests to tea here in our homeland."

Nodding to Private Park and Kim as well as four other soldiers, Yoon's subordinates would salute and run off to begin boiling the tea using tea sets that the squad had scrounged up shortly prior to the meeting, leaving Lieutenant Yoon and Sergeant Kang to continue the dialogue.

Yoon: "I... I mean no disrespect when I say this, but we were not expecting someone so grand when we were preparing for this meeting. I am deeply sorry for the less-than-adequate meeting location."

RP: Of One's Standing

Piety would smile and takes a more relaxed stance, her wings folding back in. The other Athejian officers would try and appear confident and knowledgeable as best they could, seeing as since the Sword Saint was the only Archangel on the ship and thus being the only one who understood the Hanese that was being spoken.

Piety: (In Hanese) "Please, such things like your grace is typically reserved for members of civilian nobility, at least in our nation. I am merely another officer in service of my country, in most circumstances I am referred to as Sword Saint or simply by Piety when conversing with my soldiers. I know you are filled with an innumerable amount of questions about us, because after all, so are we about your nation and people. Do not fret about any inadequacies you may find in our meeting, it would be uncouth for one to judge another and hold them in contempt without knowing of their circumstances. In fact, we are the ones who should apologize for encroaching on your hospitality by arriving without warning, and with a fleet of warships nonetheless."

The last of the accompanying cadre of officers would finally make it off the ramp, they carried several large containers behind them. Gifts and various cultural and historical articles from our nation to the Xin-Fael. Piety would nod in their direction and they scurried up further on the beach to avoid getting them wet.

Piety: (In Hanese) "Shall we continue discussing things over this "tea" you speak of?"

RP: The Summer of Lead

The assasination of Cazal could not have come at a worse time for the Socialist Federation, the strain on the government caused by the debts of a war proved fruitless and the shocks caused by the Rumanian Recession had already frayed the ropes holding the nation together. 5 shots were enough to shake the government’s control as the chaos and infighting resulting from his death spiraled out of control. As the congress attempted to mitigate the chaos resulted in an ever loosening grip on the southern provinces. It was all to plan.

The Nationalists had lied in wait, taking advantage of the naivety of the southern governors who thought their morale had been broken, and it had come time to punish them for their errors and bring down a government that they despised. On a breezy morning they made their move. Groups across the spectrum of anti-government nationalism emerged from their caves and mountain top bases and began seizing the infrastructure of southern Gatisia. Post offices, light rail stations, Radio Broadcasters and Airstrips were all seized by men wearing blue armbands and fatigues carrying ageing YPK7 rifles and declaring them “Liberated” from the government's control.

Through this insurrection the nationalists have established dominion over large swathes of the mountain valleys they had been forced out of years ago. In the southeast, the exiled President Mesny returned from his government in exile in Blayredeshia to a large rally outside of a recently seized trade union office where he proclaimed a new Republic of The Gatisland, and in the southwest, militias following the popular militia leader Armel Marrast declared their authority over several provinces to hopefully build a state that followed his bizarre syncretic ideology. The government for it’s part has promised to put down this revolt claiming that the groups represent the interests of foreign powers and that they will be met with a swift response.

The nationalist’s success in the south however, have not been repeated in other areas of the country as their meager support in the centre valley, far south and agrarian north resulted in uprisings there being easily quashed. Serving as a reminder that, though weakened, the government was still a threat to be reckoned with. In the capital however, pro nationalist and federationist groups clashed in the street, prompting a police intervention. The south and the capital brace for a new wave of violence as the land roils with calls for blood and every hamlet, and now every city and town will now have to decide it’s allegiance.

Gatisian Civil War Factions (So Far):

The Republic of The Gatisland
Leader: President Mesny
The king across the pond has come home. Exiled following his disgrace and ejection from power, President Mesny has used his position as head of the government in exile in Salis and his continued harsh critiques of the socialist government to gain both support and financial backing for the insurgent militias on the exiled government’s payroll from the wealthy community of Gatisian exiles. Now that he has returned he faces the task of a bloody campaign north and a need to regain the popular support of the people as well as the younger guard of the movement to further his aims.

National Republican Militia
Leader: Armel Marrast
“L’armee d’Armel” as it is often jokingly referred to, represents the young guard of the nationalist movement. Arising years after the revolution as a radical student group in the Southern Agricultural University, the group separated itself from the mainstream Mesnyist groups for it’s syncretic ideology that attempts to meld moderate left wing economics with traditionalist social views. Driven underground, the group found new life as their charismatic leader Armel Marrast molded it into a powerful group of militias which aims to achieve Marrast’s “Nouvel État”. Though they have cooperated with Mesny so far, the two groups often view each other with suspicion and are only united by their hatred of the central government, though even this alliance may have it’s limits.

The Socialist Federation of The Gatisland
Leader: President Pro-Tempore Charles Barthet
Shaken by a multitude of crises, the socialist central government is in dire straits, with a financial and domestic crises creating the biggest threat to the post-revolution politics and the Cazalite policies that have been implemented in its wake. Governing from Therveux, the government has attempted to further industrialise the country while pursuing a more internationalist foreign policy, though the nationalist threat has only since escalated. Barthet has managed to evade the total collapse of the federation, but the loss of southern control has already shaken confidence in his administration, and it seems unlikely he will remain as president. The units of the remainder of the federal army have professional training and equipment stockpiles, but their tactics must be chosen carefully to best the tenacity of the rebels. The government must choose a new leader and will try to manage both domestic and international relations to ensure that the federation shall not die how it was born.

In the ruins of Peninsulatown, the first semblance of order has formed. The town's remaining populace, some 200 individuals, have been organized into a small tribe by a number of escaped convicts, freed from Prison Islands years prior thanks to an Icewindian raid. Using ships stolen from the Prison, the reformed prisoners have offered to take the Peninsula Tribe west to the Federation of Fiercewood in hopes finding asylum.

Meanwhile, more groups have been slowly forming around the Northern Schism. The survivors of Eftmind traveled upriver, attempting to flee into the Schismian mountains, careful to avoid the Holy Republic's defenses patrolling their. On Hymn island, the remaining Pontifey revolters have also been approached by escaped convicts and, led by the self-proclaimed pirate empress, Chuscho Ueaernei, have taken to the sea in hopes of finding land to raid or claim for their own. Finally, near what used to be the isolated town of Aquilville, a large number of survivors have joined together to travel north to the coast in hopes of finding more survivors and better shelter. . .

Antekuna wrote:RP: A Risky Endeavor (Secret)

Over the past century, the Kuni have developed a large appetite for global media, an appetite largely fed by the interception of public satellite and radio broadcasts. This has allowed them to develop a rudimentary understanding of the outside world, with the nation even managing to translate foreign languages and develop a sizeable number of dedicated, albeit sometimes flawed, foreign language speakers. Among the nations of particular interest has been The Atomic Schism, in no small part thanks to their language being cracked early on.

Thus, when word reached Antekuna regarding the annihilation of the people and settlements of the Northern Schism, it promoted an unexpectedly large torrent of horror and outrage. With the Kuni themselves immersed in a world of unending conflict and constant tragedy, the plight of the victims of the Schismian Genocide has brought to the halls of power an idea forever thought unthinkable; intervening in an outside nation.

With a conference between ambassadors of the remaining powers already underway, the states were gifted with the rare treat of proper dialogue on the national level, and they siezed upon it, with a surprisingly large portion of the conference dedicated to ironing out a relief plan. After some carrot and stick diplomacy, many impassioned dialogues, a few well placed words of persuasion, and likely more than one bribe, the powers came to an agreement.

A small number of ships, provided by numerous states and largely piloted by the veteran Antenesian sailors, would embark on a grueling ocean voyage towards The Atomic Schism. Through this journey, while hopefully evading detection from foreign navies, predominantly Qalti rescue crews, with the guide of fluent Kalran (Kuni name for the international language) and Schismian speakers, would be tutored on Schismian geography, customs, and languages.

Upon arriving, the small force would dispatch several search and rescue crews, primarily in Eastern Atoma and Theda, but also wherever else there are sightings of survivors, to scour the countryside and ruins of former settlements for any surviving bands of Schismians, and, if they're lucky, valuable Schismian technology. The groups would then return to the vessels with as many Schismians as possible, while supplying those who couldn't with means to contact other foreign rescue parties, should they come. After a few weeks or months (depending on the success) of searching, the Kuni and rescued Schismians would return to Antekuna, whereupon the Schismians would be granted asylum and housing, and hopefully impart their skills and knowledge on the Kuni.

While there is undeniable sympathy for the Schismians, there are other motives, as well; a desire for public approval at home, the chance of a heightened future diplomatic reputation in the event of deisolation, and the acquisition of knowledge, technology, and expertise from the technologically superior Schismians.

With the mission beginning and Kuni isolationism at stake, the nation holds its breath. Both for the Schismians...

and themselves.

And thus, the local inhabitants of the neighboring Xin-Fael provinces were left to fend for themselves when refugees and pirates began to appear in the Sea of Trendaline. On the open waters, the Xin-Fael coast guard cutter XFCGS Ai Grest sailed in the calm of the night, only to be interrupted by numerous radar signatures.

Lieutenant Commander Esgalnoron: "Captain Narthadis, we have multiple signatures, at least a dozen on radar. Range of 3 nautical miles."

Captain Narthadis: "What do you think XO, hm, more pirates?"

Esgalnoron: "If they are, there are a whole lot of them. I don't know if we'll be able to take them all with the current numbers we have."

Narthadis: "Hm, XO, do you think this is related to the fiasco in that Atomic Schism place across the pond?"

Esgalnoron: "It's certainly a possibility captain, but regardless we have the issue at hand. How should we proceed?"

Narthadis: "Hm, my curiosity is getting the better of me. We have never seen so many vessels, even for pirate fleets. Radio in our current location to HQ and notify them that we are going to investigate our findings. My intuition tells me there is more to this hm."

The XFCGS Ai Grest would make haste towards the clump of signatures. Within 0.4 nautical miles, armed coast guards would clamber to the railings and prepare for anti-piracy operations as a precaution. Two powerful searchlights would be activated and begin combing the waters for the unidentified vessels. A crewman would man a megaphone, calling out in Common, Elvish, and Xinese for any vessel to identify themselves.

Following the destruction of Theda during the Great Reformation War, a small number of surviving Schismians found shelter near the ruins of Fish City's reactor. Naturally however, their precarious situation led to multiple casualties a week until they decided to create a camp around the coast. Though they had managed to survive on fish and reportedly small incidents of cannibalism, their numbers dwindled to about 15 individuals, 2 of them being under the age of ten. Desperate to survive, the small tribe was beyond relieved when one them spotted a Kuni vessel traveling in the straight between Hymn Island and the Northern Schism. In attempt to signal the ship, the tribe attempted a large bonfire, which though well constructed, did not burn as bright as they had hoped. . . Antekuna

Meanwhile, the tribe traveling north from what was Aquilville has begun losing members rapidly. With only half of their original 500 remaining, the oncoming spring months have become a blessing, as slightly warmer temperatures have allowed more flora and fauna to arrive in the Northern Schism. However, the still relative scarce nature of these resources has begun creating divides in the tribe, with infighting becoming more and more present. Fortunately, and perhaps unfortunately, the Aquilvillians have managed to find more survivors around the ruins of Zachsville, tripling their number. . .

In the west, the Peninsula Tribe initially made great progress in their travel to Fiercewood, thanks to the help of the former prisoners of Prison Island. However, as their boats set sail, one of the ship's engines failed, then exploded violently, causing the boat to capsize. Though several other ships halted to rescue those stranded in the icy waters, hypothermia managed to set in before they could be dragged aboard. Shortly afterwards, one of the boats suddenly separated from the 'fleet' and took off north, its passengers calling for help but quickly racing out of reach of the other ships already low on fuel. However, the fears anxiety of the remaining passengers momentarily was relieved as a power spotlight suddenly lit up their vessals. Cheering loudly for what they believed to be a Fiercewood ship, their hopes were quickly dashed as a familar voice boomed over the destroyer's loudspeakers.

"Evtenseeion ouvtseasvts! Vterepeasseinsch ueiolol vtolereavted'novt! Perepeare vto vease vte uereavtach ov Schereankoloer's. . . o Schod's vuerei!"

In moments, the Schismian destroyer, 'the Shield' aimed it cannons towards the Peninsula Tribe's ships, warning the approaching XFCGS Ai Grest not to interfere with "the Judgement of Shangralore. . . and God."

RP: A Changed Nation

In the Borderlands, the followers of the Dual Church and new Holy Republic have continued to celebrate the creation of their government and destruction of the heathens in the North. Amidst the jubilation, High Priestess Svteaer has overseen massive reforms to the Atomic Schism's educational programs, government structure, and most notably, has removed the entirety of the nation's constitution. In wake of these changes, schools have been placed under the jurisdiction of Dual Church temples and monasteries. While the central government has been completely merged with the Dual Church's existing hierarchy, the previous governors of the Atomic Schism's provinces have been replaced with the faith's Cardinals, counties now being run Archpriests and Bishops. All under the supreme authority of High Priestess Svteaer, the Atomic Schism has become unrecognizable politically and culturally from it's previous incarnation.

Hidden away from the Dual Church's sight, in the alleys and shadows of the Borderland's cities however, the persecution of Acheinseolvists in the north has led to to silent movements growing within the more apathetic communities of Schismians. Already though, Her Holiness Svteaer has organized an inquisition to find the murmurings of any potential heretical or blasphemy before it can grow. As a result, neighborhoods in the northern Borderland cities have been subjected to raids by the 'Warriors of Shangralore' as they search for any signs of betrayal or deceit. Furthermore, as High Priestess Flair's project to expand the Borderland's agricultural infrastructure begins to take root, Her Holiness has begun to send Extermination Parties into the Northern Schism to seek out the survivors of the its scouring. One such party was tasked with patrolling the Schismian coast aboard the destroyer, 'the Shield. . .'

Viktor by far is the only thing that stands out in the port, the port is gray and standard with scientists moving about acting as dock hands, he stands out in a white and red suit, small glasses dark as pitch just covering his eyes, scruffy chin and tall muscular physique make him an interesting sight compared to the drab gray and lab coats of the docks. When Natalie steps down the ramp Viktor approaches her quietly and gently takes her hand, politely kissing the top of her hand. After releasing her hand just as gently as he took it, he introduces himself with a thick Ukrainian accent.

Viktor: "I Am Viktor Turov, Head of the Branch of Social Sciences. I am pleased to make your acquaintance, and am honored that Etrius would send their top Admiral to protect lowly men of science such as myself. Please won't you join me for dinner? Business with good drink and good food are so often a better time than business without."
