Its nothing to me.
I'm a observer, what's it to you?

Novi vrakanda wrote:There is still no noticeable mobilization, aside from what appear to be some minor militia police forces. The PLAAF would also see some stones at one of the major dig sites, Tamasagbulag Pit, spelling out "Нуруугаа унтраах" (for context, this means F*ck Off in Mongolian).

Once they gain Air Superiority, a force of 2000 Xian H-6s (in flights of 10 amounting to 200 flights) will begin to strike strategic targets, including police stations, any SAM and AA sites, military bases, any reported militia bases, and once all other targets are exhausted they will begin to carpet bomb cities and towns. |

Massive amounts of civilian casualties begin to pile up, only fueling the militia's desire to fight. But most of them remember their training and remain hidden. Some, however, break off and begin to pursue their own route; directly attacking the Chinese before the explosives detonated.

(OOC: Pls RP the effectiveness of the bombing in terms of what has been damaged not just the casualties)

(Oh, sorry.)
The effectiveness of the bombings proved to be far more effective than shelling. In major cities, such as Ulaanbaatar, over 80% of the cities infrastructure was damaged by bombings alone. Large and small mines were destroyed in the bombings, rendering the detonations ineffective but also destroying major deposits of natural resources. However, the strikes also sent a nuclear power plant near Erdenet into a meltdown. Without engineers to maintain the plant, the resulting detonation of the reactor not only started a massive, radioactive fire, but also sent massive amounts of nuclear fallout westward, and with the cold conditions, may send some further south. The death toll is expected to rise from the detonation alone. A refinery outside the Tamsagbulag Pit was also destroyed in the bombings, sending some nuclear fallout southward, towards the Chinese army.

(And yes, this weather data is true. I checked it.)

| The Chemical and Radioactive Squads of the Divisions are notified by the National Energy Commission's Nuclear Branch of the incoming fallout and radioactive winds. These begin a mass deployment of gas masks, lead-lined body armor (to be worn whilst not in combat), and guides on how to identify radiation sickness. However, with the effectiveness in the bombing campaign, all the Divisions are ordered to advance into Mongolia, with a goal of advancing at least 50km into the country, stopping every 20km for two hours to continue artillery bombardments. To facilitate the supply of these units, one of the Infantry Divisions is ordered to act as a rear guard and protect the singular supply route. Engineering Companies are ordered to begin the construction of gravel roads in order to break up the supply line into several in order to stop possible sabotage. |

Imagine being a Chinese Soldier in the heat of a desert, just to find out you need to wear heavy as f*ck improvised lead body armor cause the fly boys wern't being careful enough.

Along the route, militiamen with radiation poisoning or severe sickness from gas attacks attempted attacks on the advancing soldiers, all of which failed. Civilian casualties continued to pile up with additional artillery strikes and chemical attacks. Within a few days of the initial strike, almost 2/3rds of the population died from some combination of radiation sickness and constant artillery strikes and air raids. Final detonations were carried out on uranium stockpiles by any remaining soldiers, further throwing more fallout into the atmosphere and surrounding zones. Growing more desperate, some militiamen even lead suicide bombings on convoys using supplied Semtex. Some attacks would succeed, but many more failed.
