"Our armies march east and west, we have forged an iron alliance, and our wunderwaffe is making good progress. Soon we will cleanse this earth, only then will we be truly unstoppable." A high-ranking party member sitting next to him remarked- "they say evil prevails when good men fail to act." He took a long drag from his cigarette before continuing, "what they should say is, Evil Prevails."

Outside, black-uniformed guards line the streets, each saluting to the passing-by car. Behind these wall of SS guards are thousands of cheering Germans, ecstatically waving German flags as the black car went by. On all buildings the black car passed, all were draped in swastika banners, all the way to the steps of the Volkshalle.|

Air Operations

| Following the outbreak of world war 3, the Reichsluftfahrtministerium has issued orders to the Luftwaffe to conduct reconnaissance missions via planes as well as satellites. Any information from round the clock photo-reconnaissance, thermal imaging, synthetic aperture radar, and SIGINT/ELINT coverage of Eastern Poland/Lithuania is immediately passed on to Luftwaffe attachés attached to army command staffs. Each aerial reconnaissance mission usually includes 9 UAVs at a height of 18,000 feet pertaining to a 160-kilometer range.

Meanwhile, alarms sound within airbases in western Poland, where pilots scramble into their aircraft- taking roughly half an hour to forty-five minutes to organize all the aircraft into Geschwaders. Of the assembled aircraft, several Kampfgeschwaders, twelve Jagdgeschwaders, and eight Schlachtgeschwaders were formed. The Kampfgeschwaders, abbreviated KG, were composed of 336 aircraft- 48 aircraft per KG (40 Ar 412s, 7 He 487s, and 1 E-2C Adler). The twelve Jagdgeschwaders, 576 total aircraft- 48 aircraft per JG (30 Me 1110s, 17 He 487s, and 1 E-2C Adler). The Schlachtgeschwaders, abbreviated SG, contain 384 total aircraft- 48 aircraft per SG (30 Ho 429s, 10 Me 1110s, 7 FW 477s, and 1 E-2C). |

Below is a list of where each formation will be assigned to:

Ground Operations

| Army group "Red" was issued orders from the OKW to mobilize and assemble into strongpoints along the Eastern Polish border days prior to the obviously inevitable war. At 4:00 AM, the invasion was launched. Three formations of 20,000 Nebelwerfer 44s, each possessing 644 M85 DPICM submunitions per rocket and each Nebelwerfer holding six rockets, would be continuously fired across the front, directed at any towns, suspected military installations, etc. within a 45-kilometer range. Since it takes approximately 180 seconds to reload, every three minutes roughly 120,000 rockets are fired off. Each Nebelwerfer crew would be supplied with information from Luftwaffe reconnaissance reports via datalink.

Several armored divisions of the Panzer Army 'Großdeutschland' set off on highway S7 on the Northern general flank, making good use of the surrounding environment and covering all vehicles with intricate foliage as effective camouflage. Unfortunately, the dust kicked up by the columns of vehicles is a dead give away- hence the divisions have only advanced at night, remaining static during daylight hours as well as during nights with significant moonlight. The 4th infantry Korps accompanies the armored divisions, with some infantry riding on the tanks or inside IFVs/APCs, while others march through the grassy plains. A detachment of the infantry Korps, roughly 2 divisions strong, march to the Martwa Wisla, crossing the river in rubber boats. Simple fortifications are erected along the river, albeit the detachment marches on to secure a defensive position along the mouth/northern portion of the Vistula River- this endeavor is supported by a Kampfschwimmer company from the Kriegsmarine, deployed 2 kilometers off the coast of the mouth of the Vistula River.

Between the S7 and 22nd highways, 6 motorized infantry divisions of the First German Army march through the farmlands to secure the Vistula River. A local supply dump is established in Pszczółki, supplying not just these 6 divisions but also many of the forces on the Northern general flank- in conjunction with other nearby supply dumps along the 91st highway. As a result of the prioritization of said highway, traffic has become a problem as supply lorries constantly use the under-developed road, albeit MPs work tirelessly directing traffic behind the front.

In the central general flank, a force of half a million troops of the Second German Army launch a spearhead out of Kielce, using the northern S7 Highway out of Kielce, towards Radom. Another force of half a million troops from the same army set out south along the S7 highway towards Krakow. Panzer Army 'Gerhard Kruger', meanwhile, divides into three armored Korps, each heading one of three directions. The first and most strong of the three Korps travels along the 73rd highway to capture Tarnow, an ambitious outflanking move that would do tremendous damage to the supply situation of any Polish formations west of this area- especially Krakow.
The other two armored Korps head towards Sandomierz and Ostrowiec. |

Naval Operations

| Under the orders of the OKM, no Polish ships, or any ships not affiliated with the Kriegsmarine for that matter, will be permitted to cross the Great Danish Belt, any ships will be fired upon by coastal artillery. This order effectively cuts off any supplies going to Poland/Lithuania via the Baltic Sea.

Reichsflotte I, consisting of 30 Type-212 attack submarines, are deployed from Rostock- heading past the Great Danish Belt and into the Baltic Sea at 9 knots with 40km dispersion in a loose line formation heading towards the coast of Northern Poland/Western Lithuania. |

The SAE Navy has deployed multiple Corvettes to patrol the waters near Malaysia and Manila to intimidate the Japanese. Another intimidation tactic would be howitzers firing into Indonesia from Singapore into slums and hospitals to reduce the casualty rate of a more urban area.
The Royal Thai SEAL Team 5 along with a small battalion have been deployed to take the Brunei town of Sandakan. The Australian The grand technate is asked to assist in Indonesia in anyway possible.
However, the Emperor is willing to negotiate an end to this uncalled for aggression should the Empress desire the same.

Upon hearing the news that the forces of Arden have decided to fight back, the Empress states her terms very clearly.

"The only way that this bloodshed may be prevented is if they are willing to accept the following: Arden will cede all territory to the Empire, and immediately put down its arms. It will be henceforth recognised as a colony of Horizon, but will retain its name and may occupy a seat. on the High Council."

Meanwhile the attack continues. On the waters off the Phillipine coast, Admiral Okazaki recieves his first orders.

Given the signal, the 12 Maya-class destroyers move into a combat formation, joined by the Oyashio-class submarines. At 16:18 PST, the lead destroyer 'Chidori' fires a volley of warning shots.
On board the submarines, final checks are made on the Type 89 torpedoes loaded.

The 4th Special Forces task force has since secured the crossing into Malaysia, and the main army divisions begin moving into enemy territory. Once preparations are complete, they will march on Singapore, a key tactical location and one that will be essential in linking the two main ground assaults, the second being in Borneo.

Dusk in the city enemy occupied city of Kuching sees the first tanks rolling through its outskirts. Blockades are erected at key points into and out of the city, thus ensuring that supplies going in and out are cut off. Any resistance is immediately countered with brutal force, whether it be civilian or military.

Behind the front line, the artillery installations near the border continue to fire a combination of rockets and shells at all major establishments within a forty mile radius.

| Following the military alliance between the Kingdom of Italy, the Japanese Empire and the German Reich, Italy has prepared to mobilize into full military operation, following footsteps of its two allies. The Ministry of Defense, located in Rome, had issued a statement regarding Italy's goal to control the whole Western Meditteranean coast, in support to the German mission to dominate Europe. Now, as the Third World War looms over Europe, Italy made its first move by stepping into France. A statement is issued to the Government of Huevean in support of the Italian Government's order. |

"France will cede its entire Western Mediterranean coastline, including all the French mainland territory except Normandy and Britanny to the Italian Kingdom. Failure to comply will result in full subjugation of the French state, and the liberation of France from its current corrupt government into a new era, guided by the path of enlightement and justice in the European Co-Prosperity Sphere, under a new government freed from all the backwards corruption of France's current regime."

| From the Italian Air Force regional headquarters in Turin, alarms sounded and the reconnaisance and patrol operations began throughout the mountainous Italian-French border. The Italian Space Agency is contacted immidiately, and reconnaisance operations are conducted through satellite imaging and synthetic aperture radar. SIGINT/ELINT stations across the Italian-French border began to use their electronic and signal intelligence measures to start capturing enemy military positions and mobilizations. 12 squadrons of 10 AAI RQ-7 Shadow UAVs are deployed to begin reconnaisance missions, with flights back and forth through the French border to gain crucible information that may provide useful in further Italian advances into France.

Meanwhile, at airbases throughout north-western Italy, namely Turin, Genoa, Cuneo, Savona, and Aosta, the Italian Air Force units departed in several flight squadrons, ready to begin the pre-emptive strike throughout France, with mainly bombing and fighting operations while maintaining air superiority throughout the southern regions of France. |

| Each of the Air Regions in north-western Italy are given one specific target of operation, either it to simply attack, scourge, conduct reconnaisance, or a support operation for the other Air Regions. After the first pre-emptive attack from the Italian Air Force is conducted, the other branches is signaled to take action; the Italian Army by land and Italian Navy by sea. |

The terms would be as the Empress has dictated earlier: Arden was to cede all territories to the Horizonian Empire, and its troops would be drafted into the Horizonian Army. Civilians currently living in territories belonging to the former would be free to remain there, provided they pledge not to take up arms against the Horizonian occupants. Arden would retain its name as a nation, but would be henceforth recognised as a colony of the Empire.

(So basically I’m Australia or Canada and you’re the UK?) The Emperor grabs the pen hesitantly.....
