All the other ratings are going to seem low now.

Senate Leader Bill Nerades: Thank you everyone for coming to our president's speech here today. It's quite wonderful to see the turnout of citizens excited in acting out their civil duties. As you all know, we have developed many relationships with nation's abroad and even here in Fusea. However, we now have a chance to win safe borders and easily travel to friendly foreign lands without oceans or wilderness. Here comes the man that has given us a brighter hope for the future than many of those before him. Give a round of applause for President Jacob John Henry Lamais!

President: Ah,thank you very much. Ever since my, err, rather unusual election as president, I have been tried in many domestic situations. And while we sit comfortably as members in two international unions, we haven't really gotten to know many nations on a more personal level. I stand here today, not leaving to be entangled in messy international politics often found in unions, but rather to give the citizens of Pinguioris and Yemet a chance to know each other, not just as nation's and people's that border each other, but as great friends with a deep understanding of each other, and who can protect each other, not just far abroad as we have searched for in the past, but also close to home, since that is the most important part of us. I will be getting on a plane shortly for Yemet, and their we shall discuss, in detail, our relationship between our nations.

The president leaves the stand, waving at the wildly cheering crowd. In the distance, Appaloosa City's skyline has several new skyscrapers in the process of construction. The tallest, at three quarters of a kilometer, is a new international stock exchange, one that promises to launch economic growth to new heights. The plane leaves shortly after three o'clock, riding into the air with an escort of four military jets.

Here come the Taxmen. Those were the words that would flow across an area in whispers any time an Agent approached a Citizen's District. It's one of the duties of an agent, to remind those approaching debt to pay their taxes. And, to repo those too deep in debt. Repossession. It was scarily accurate of a term. Nox cleared his head and closed his umbrella, nearing the doors of Coromina Industries Headquarters. He looked up, to the highest point he could see. The towering glass facade of the intimidating building was interrupted by holographic advertisements of CI Products and the omni-present image of the Coromina Industries logo itself. He went in, and saw himself directly to the CI Collections Agents HQ. Floor twelve, it has a nice view. He approached the man at the front desk. Ak was working today. He had to be careful with his every word, this man wasn't so intimidating for nothing.

"Agent Alkonost, reporting for duty, sir."

Duty, Honor, Sacrifice. Not at all the words of Coromina Industries but they just as well encompassed our core tenets. Agent Alkonost, given name Nox Alkonost, was a star individual who took work wherever it was found. That was Duty.

"You have come well-dressed, comrade! Come, please, sit."

Nox never missed a beat when called upon to work under the hand of Coromina. He'd delivered so many repossessions that he'd lost count. Somehow, that was Honor.

"Of course, sir. I want to make a good impression with the Necerierrans-can't afford any corporate losses in the face of the Corominas!"

The giant of a man grinned, his voice lowering to an almost sinister tone.

"No, no you cannot...Here is your papers, have a safe journey, comrade."

And finally, Nox was the ex-leader of the largest rebel group in Corominan history, of which nearly toppled the Coromina Family.
Sacrifice.

An automated taxi awaited him out front. He didn't care to take out his umbrella for the few steps, and boarded the Taxi. Thankfully, it was prepaid, an uncommon luxury. This was an important job, no doubt. No point in sabotaging it.
-
The taxi arrived at the airport, which was nearly empty. The people of Coromina don't have much time for vacation, and we don't receive many tourists. Our environment isn't what one would call 'idyllic,' and we're not much for tourism-at least yet. A colony on the east end of the Capital is dedicated solely to creating a tourism district. He exited the vehicle, which thanked him in the standard, overly-passionate tone, and once he and his things were out of the car, he and the car parted ways. He walked quickly to the front desk, where a robotic staff member awaited him. It was an archaic model, and he prepared for the metallic, echoey voice of the older versions that hurt his ears. To Nox's surprise, its voice was soft and gender-neutral, unlike the older feminine voices or the newer, strangely English masculine voices. It must be a unique voice code to the airport staff, since he'd never heard anything quite like it before.

"Good evening sir, how can I help you?"

"I'm here on official business for Coromina Industries. My name is Nox Alkonost."

Though lacking the means for facial expression, he could feel the overly-enthusiastic grin come from it's face.

"Agent Alkonost, welcome! Here's your passport, mission statement, and proper paperwork for customs in Necerierra. Your flight for Nordlando boards in Three minutes, Twenty-eight seconds. Enjoy your flight!"

"Thank you, prosperous day."

Prosperous day. It was starting to grow on him. Talk like that was considered overly polite to most people, machines especially, but he liked the smiles it put on people's faces, so it became a habit, machines and humans alike.
Since he had time to kill, he began to read a book. Coromina Industrial may be a borderline-dystopia, but they could care less about what you say and read so long as it doesn't interrupt your work. He was a few pages deep in The Illiad, which he found a copy of during a repossession and claimed for his own; the uniform long coats have their perks.

Weather delayed the flight an extra hour, since thunder rolled in, but the night winds blew away the storm and his journey was back on. Nox was off, Necerierra-ward.
-
The flight was long, the Corporate Lands and Nordlando being on adverse sides of Osea. He arrived at sunset the next day, jetlagged and uncomfortable, and checked in halfheartedly to the hotel nearest the mayorial office. Tomorrow, he was to meet with the Necerierrans.
-
Nox rose with the sun that day, the day he'd been preparing for, and after spending hours getting ready, emerged to paparazzi and a fair share of activists protesting CI's involvement in Necerierra.
He walked to the mayor's office, ignoring the paparazzi semi-successfully and finding his way to enter.

City of Nordlando. A place where business thrives. A place where anything goes. A Place where...
You lose your humanity for the flesh of gold. At Day, Nordlando is bustling with merchant activity, selling their wares. The Police don't care whether the means to acquire those is shady or not, they pay bucks, they can go whatever they want. At night, Neon Colours shines brightly in the sky, as the Red Light and Adult Entertainment Industry shows its fangs. Human, Nekos, Kitsunes, and other beasts show their assets across the glass, baiting the depraved customer into their enterprise. Everyday, every degeneracy increased tenfold in Nordlando.

No Wonder it is called The Goldmine of Necerierra

Between those highrise building located near the centre. A Pearly White building stands out, not because it is tall, but because it has a reminiscent of colonial-era building, between the modern skyscraper. The Building is the Mayor House of Nordlando, where its Lady-Mayor, Lailessherz Liftoke Hoffmahn, resides.

"Damn, demonstrator..." said Laila as she looks below her, where activists protest about Nordlando deal with Coromina Industrial..."I really...really want to remove them right now..." For her, this is all just about the money. For all her life as a ruler, she learns that being compassionate will only earn you the sack here. She has to be a sociopath...a humanless human, to keep giving Necerierra their money. She has screwing their people for how longs now...and the upper-class thank her for it...

She sats down at the mayor office, Antique Things everywhere. A Skin of Hippos are scattered all over the floor, forming some sort of abstract art, Pictures Portrait of previous Lord-Mayor also exist here. Most of the instrument and things in that room is covered in gold...that's how rich they are..."1 minute more...If he is late I would reject him immediately..."

Exactly 1 minute later, A man in the suit, seemingly like a drone robot, enters the mayor room. "Good Morning, I presume you are Agent Alkonost? Please...have a sit. I am apologizing for the inconvenience caused by the protestor outside, I have ordered my task force to...remove them at a certain time." Laila giggles a bit, "Now, what business are you here to offer Agent Alkonost?"
