Hey I was being a jerk and you’ve already heard that Penult was talking of Aerilia. You’ve been a great ally, sticking up for your brothers in arms, that’s awesome. That said, let’s not try and advertise for a world war next time, ok? It’d be awesome if you chose to stay on SR! So please do🙏
As if we have learned nothing from history classes, militarism, and alliances have escalated a conflict into a global military issue.

Well I’m gonna go take care of this massive headache I’ve developed. See y’all in a bit, I’m gonna be rather inactive for the next two weeks-ish. But after that is Undivided NS Time err I mean, school.
If war breaks out message me please
It was an important day in one of Scientificus Advancium’s labs. They were going to test their recently built Tokamak reactor with some changes to see if it truly works.
“Let’s hope this machine works. You have to think about the money we spent on this machine!” said Paulian, one of the scientists.
“Blah blah blah, money. We don’t care about money! We’re here to see if this works, and if it doesn’t, let’s build a better one, which will cost MORE money! You know, we have basically unlimited money at this point. Our consumers really like our electronics!” responded Paulina, another scientist and her sister.
“Oh, come on, Paulina. You know money doesn’t grow out of trees.”
“I know. Leaving this conversation aside, guys, are we ready to turn this machine on? We shall move on to the watching room. It’s going to get a little hot in here.”
“Is it? Damn. We gotta fix that. The more heat we keep inside the reactor, the better. You know, we have to get to a temperature near 9 million Kelvin. And that’s not easy.[i]” said Blars, another scientist.
“[i]Well, I shouldn’t have made that hypothesis too soon. We’ll see, we haven’t tested this machine.
Have we got a thermometer in this room? Let me see…. Oh! Here it is. Perfect! Right now it is…
it’s 291ºK. So we would be somewhere near 17ºC.” (62’6ºF for the imperials)
Another scientist, Lutian, comes in the room and contacts the scientists that they can start the test at any moment.
“The direct electric line between us and the two nuclear reactors are ready to be turned on! Let’s hope that’s enough.
Then all the scientists would proceed to check that nothing is in the room and since everything’s good to go, they’d go inside the watching room and start a countdown.
“Alright! When I switch on this… switch.. The machine will start heating up thanks to the magnetic field! We have got all the required materials in the machine… everything looks good to go! Now,
3… 2… 1… Switch!”
Paulina would switch on the machine and there would be nothing noticeable at first. Then, all the electric cables in the machine room would start making an electric current sound, since the machine requires A LOT of electricity.
“Oh, look, it’s Thor! I’m joking. He doesn’t exist.”
“Look at the thermometer! The room is at 604ºK! Don’t go in there.”
“Have you checked the temperature inside the machine? I’m sure it’s pretty hot! And also, we have also proven that the insulation used in the machine isn’t good.”
“Let me check…. Look! We’ve achieved 1 million Kelvin. But yeah, we have to wait, this has been the starting.”
30 minutes pass, and after some conversations, they go check the temperature.
“What did you eat? You smell gross!”
“I ate a sandwich! Don’t hate me for that!”
“Guys, stop arguing and let’s check the temperature and other stats. We’ve got everything measured after all! The thermometers says…. It seems that we have reached perfectly the 9 million Kelvin needed! We have to check how much energy we have wasted and we have created to see if this is efficient.
The room is at 1049ºK, so don’t go in there and stay away from it….”
“First of all, you’re blind, and second of all, we have wasted approximately 100 MW of energy heating up this machine, and we have ended up with 173 MW in 40 minutes, meaning that it has an efficiency of 1.73, which is not bad.”
“Did you just create a magnitude for that?”
“Yes. Well, it works!”
Then the lab’s lights and the machine would turn off.
“Oh no. I think we just overloaded the batteries we made to store the energy. Well, that’s not a bad thing from the machine, so.. I think we should contact the government!”
“Where are you? Oh, yes. We should also focus on making this more efficient. The insulating material didn’t work too well, we could have wasted less energy.”
Then Paulina would switch off the machine even tho it’s already off.
“Tell those workers on the nuclear reactor that they’re fired.”
“Oh, don’t go so fast. Well, I’m sure someone will turn the light on in any moment!
And also, this experiment, which hasn’t been our first one, as one of my friends has contacted me has been successful!”
“Oh? What did we do good that the other didn’t do?”
“It seems like our machine was the last one manufactured. The other ones are quite old, really. When we were trying to achieve this but couldn’t. We didn’t equip them with our latest technological advances.”
Then, after the successful experiment, they would go off to eat some sandwiches. Some that don’t make you smell bad, hopefully.
Very funny. No offense, but that is definitely NOT what happened... You were sending troops even when nobody threatened to invade...

Idk a historical war could be fine.
