Ikumi sat back in her seat as the pendulum swung in her head like the one on her desk. She kept looking at a small scrapbook her mother had made years ago. It was mostly just Ikumi and her Mother and Father, but one picture stood out. It was a picture of the 3 of them, but her Grandfather stood side by side with her father, smiling in Uniform, looking seemingly right through the picture, into her eyes. A recurring thought lured the back of her mind, trying to push its way out, forcing her to remember. Alas, she couldn’t. She continued to stare into the picture when Mika creaked open the doors, holding stacks of papers in her hand. Unusual, she thought, usually she came in with only news, no papers. When Mika finally entered and set the papers in quietly, she got to glance at the first sentence of the papers. “Lotion Empire,...”

Ikumi stifled a scream, before looking back at Mika, hoping for some advice. She examined the paper, hoping that there was a possibility of a typo. No such luck. She took a deep breath and began to write a letter.
