Throughout the troubled history of these Prosperous Regions known as Grecia while it was under control of the Colonizers of Sallent, the “Grecians” have faced oppression in all forms. In the early 1600s after the collapse of the Kingdom of Gressoti after the successful invasion of Alberto Abarquero’s forces on the southern shore near modern day the Imperium, we suffered. Suffered under the First Era of the United Kingdom of Sallent where our people were treated like slaves, forced to work fields of fruits and foods just out of reach of our hungry stomachs for little to nothing in return, we slept in the favelas, we ate whatever we could and in the end we were outcasted from society. Our people fought for our rights in the Late Colonial Era to even be seen as members of the nation, even if it was the lowest of lows to the corrupt loyal establishment. Our people have died for the Sallent Government in their lost wars of the early 1900s that are now memories of the dead, hidden from the populace of draws or honorable losses. We’ve petitioned for our own state, year after year, our polls going without question in total faith towards independence just to have those referendums declared void by the Royal Government, then our province government slammed into the ground and wiped clean when the Stratocracy took over months ago.

So we have no other choice then to put in a final gamble for our liberty, for our freedom from oppressors that think they can take what is ours and get away with it. Our regional beliefs have been built off the pursuit of freedom, equality and the availability to get what is needed for our people to live comfortably and with ease and the Stratocracy, Royal Government, and Barbarist Governments of the past have limited us.

Our new nation will be established through these same ideals, that everything should be ours as a collective, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs, distribution of the wealth of our people as a whole, that only when we come together in solidarity and with open hands can we persevere into a place beyond the chains of this Military Force that occupies our land. The force of conscripted men from Villages outside of our beautiful chalky white cliffs that overlook the cyan blue waters of the Inland Sea, the Rocky Beaches that connect our tall forests filled with the most beautiful wildlife to the Brittle cold waters of the Ceres Ocean. The clear skies where you could spot a bird from a km away to the colorful flower fields in the south where memories are made in an instant. These are Gressoti lands, Gressoti Culture, and above else, Gressoti people who lack everything it is to be Sallentis because. We, Are, Not, Sallentis; and so, on July 16th, 2020, The Libertarian Marxist Communes of Gressoti declares unconditional Independence from the Stratocracy of Sallent.

Persistently Sallent has shut down everything that we do, every freedom that we try to grant to our declared second-class citizens -by the Sallentis Government-, they march in and strip it from their already scarred hands from years of societal isolation. And so, with this document, we declare that Sallent no longer has any legal right over these lands, the laws of these lands or anything that violates the sovereignty of Gressoti. These lands consisting of 109,329 Kilometers of pure identity of what a state should be will have their borders respected, our naval territory will be respected, our people and culture will be respected, our government shall be respected, We shall be respected.

The First Congressional Lixist Assembly humbly rejects all offers that Sallent will make for our prized lands.
