In the first age, on the first holiday, when the son rose again, seven stood. Burned by the embers of Sin, their souls blistered by the icons of Easter and tainted beyond ascension, they chose the path of perpetual sinning. In their ravenous conquest they found no peace; and without heavenly virtues they scoured in their region seeking cards of the legendary nations who had interested them. They wore the crown of the Dead, and those that tasted the bite of their swords named them... the SDS.

Symbols of Easter - may it be Eggs or the long-eared floor ball - are needed. 7 times.

United acadia

2 motorized battalions of the Acadian military entered the capital city of Nouvelle Bruges earlier this morning. Soldiers from the 9th Armored Regiment stormed the capital city with tanks and armored vans full of men in the wee hours of the 11th of April. The soldiers quickly surrounded key buildings in the capital city, including the Houses of Parliament, the President's offices, and the official residence of the prime minister and his cabinet (which at the time was uninhabited due to the hung government). Witnesses later reported seeing soldiers dragging out members of parliament in handcuffs from their homes and offices, into the backs of military vans. Included in the list of arrested MPs are the former prime minister and his cabinet members. The President was not arrested, but has been placed under home detention.

After the initial storming of the city and houses of Parliament, more soldiers began to arrive in trucks from outside the city. The fresh wave of soldiers into the streets prompted residents of the city to begin their protests; after the initial confusion had subsided, several thousand citizens attempted to take to the streets in the morning in protest. Many businesses still opened as per normal in the morning. Soldiers attempted to stop the protesters by setting up sandbag barricades and checkpoints on the major streets and roads; although not a single shot had yet been fired.

Following that at around noon, the news stations in the city were seized by the soldiers under command of General Henri Renson. This included the largest national news broadcasting station within the nation, the Nouvelle Bruges Héraut Quotidien. Shortly after the initial seizures, a live broadcast was televised to every television in Acadia, a speech by General Renson himself. He stated that due to the events which had occurred in the past few weeks, and the nature of the fallen parliament, the military had temporarily seized control to restore order to the nation while investigations into the chemical weapons leakage in the air in parts of Acadia was to be carried out. The general stressed that martial law was not going to be declared, and that for the most part the civilian government could still continue functioning as normal. Parliament, however, would be dissolved until a new Parliament could be created after the upcoming national elections; after which the General promised to hand back the reins of power peacefully.

In the hours following the coup, the offices and residences of several executive ministries and departments were also raided by the military. This included the BIAA's headquarters, within which almost every employee was detained. Police were dispatched onto the streets in anticipation for mass protests; a curfew was not declared initially, but as more and more citizens took to the streets and the size of the protests ballooned, a curfew was at last declared. Riot police units engaged with protestors throughout the entire afternoon, and stores began to close at 3 pm as the violence began to grow. Protests and riots are still ongoing, although only riot police units have been engaging with protesters.

Throughout the rest of Acadia, reaction to the coup was mostly one of indifference, shock, or relief. Although the urban population reacted poorly to the coup, the rural population seemed mostly apathetic to the events conspiring in Nouvelle Bruges. The mayors of various major cities in Acadia did not denounce the coup, many simply carrying on with their daily administrative matters. Cities such as Nouvelle Brussels and Mechelen also saw massive protests, although no military units arrived at the cities to restore order and only local law enforcement was deployed to limit the protests.

G.I. Joe - 1

Pink High Priestess

Goldfish - -1 (I can find no records of it)
Broadway

Worm - -1 (I can find no records of it)
El Mainframe Cosmico

Chicken - -1 (I can find no records of it)
JadenStar10

Manatee - -1 (I can find no records of it)
ᏚᎥτеτһᎥеf оf ⅴʏⅼᎥⅹɑɴ

Daisy - -1 (answer acknowledges it is correct)
Rose

Dragon's being counted for points because dragons are not real, so this is not technically an animal (ditto Ysalamir and G.I. Joe). Broadway, despite answering with an animal which hasn't received a medal, also pointed me to a story about a soldier who got punished for taking a Siamese fighting fish on a parachute jump. Glowworms were actually honored in a military memorial, but nothing that can be construed as a medal from the look of it. Humans are animals, but only Ara! caught that. I never said you couldn't use pigeons. Rose, I could give Daisy a medal... Dogs were the SHEEP, while the exploits of a certain Polish bear also caught a lot of attention. Violet deliberately got the bonus wrong but gained points anyway.

36th: Conflux !pigeon edition - 4
37th: Broadway - -3

Perennial contender looneylew takes the lead, with Nub the Sregguh a mere one point behind. Broadway is now farther below Conflux than last turn thanks to Conflux's insistence on answering in its own commands. El Mainframe Cosmico did not have a good round, dropping 9 spots. Norwany, on the other hand, gained 6 places. The bonuses didn't have much of an impact this turn, it seems. Next time: Think Stupid In Space.

Welcome to Think Stupid! This will be five concurrent games, all of which are played with one set of answers. They will be:

1. Highest scoring player
2. Highest scoring team (total of players' scores)
3. Highest score within each team (i.e. how you would do if your score was only compared to those of your team)
4. Most SHEEPy player (we'll get to that later, but it means highest number of SHEEP answers)
5. Most SHEEPy team (total SHEEP answers)

So, how does one play Think Stupid? At the bottom of this post will be a link to a Google form, which you will fill out according to an hono(u)r system. The goal is to answer the same way as your comrades, and particularly those in your team. You will receive a number of points equal to the number of people who answered the same as you for each question- provided the answer is incorrect (this is Think Stupid, NOT Think Same). The most popular (wrong) answer is called the SHEEP. Now, suppose you give a correct answer. You then receive negative points equivalent to the number of people who answered that correct answer. So, let's say six people are asked to name something that normally lives in the ocean. Three people say "Dog"; that is the SHEEP answer and they receive 3 points each. One person each respond with "cat" and "sycamore" and receive one point each. One person responds with "Shark" and receives -1 points for giving a correct answer. Each question works the same way.

The meme teams are back, but these are just for fun this time.  They are primarily used for the secondary games. There is a bonus, though- pick a question, and pick a number of pigeons from 1 to 20 for Tebeat to fight. If he wins (as determined by RNG in the roleplay channel on our Discord server), you get points equivalent to the number of pigeons he fought. If he loses, you get the median score instead of however many points you would have otherwise received for the question.

The hono(u)r code: By playing Think Stupid, you agree to not disclose your answers to any player save the organizer (Marinas Island) between the posting of this form and the closing of responses. You agree to bring any issues to the attention of the organizer as soon as you find them and not to challenge the outcome if you do not do so. You agree to only submit one set of answers. If you wish to dispute the ruling of an answer as correct/incorrect, you agree to bring it up with the organizer via forum PM, NS telegram, or Discord DM. If you want clarification on any question or to modify an existing answer, you agree to bring it to the attention of the organizer via forum PM, NS telegram, or Discord DM.

The game will begin in one week (7 days). The game can be found here:
