The president says, "While that will prove to be mutually beneficial for both our nations, right after unification we will still need to develop our nation economically and rebuild infrastructure within our nation first. Such a project will certainly be considered and put to the planning board once all this conflict is over and the government has fully re-asserted its authority over all of Acadia, and basic survival is not a primary issue anymore."
Truketian Bara:"Good, I also would welcome you if your Nation would be interested in joining the Honor Pact after unification. The Turkey Bird Empire would also like to influence it's Soldiers orders in Acadia, we would like to now what they are doing so in case of Emergency we can send re-enforcements."
So your leader has a 9 level palace with an ice palace and a swimming pool, a library and a gaming hall and hundreds of others rooms filled with valuable stuff?
Do we truly need something to stand against? It would be a better idea to just stand for each other instead of focusing on finding new enemies, we believe.
So your leader is a corrupt figurehead puppet of a organized crime syndicate supporting, international democracy subverting oligarchy?
Nein
Ja, we would be satisfied with that (i will edit the factbook later)
Doesnt America sort of do that too
Ballistikov and North caesian territory
Well you're not Russia then.
The president swipes his fingers on the screen and a new map appears, one filled with arrows and NATO symbols representing military units plus strategic locations.
"We're currently approaching the issue in a very systematic and methodical manner. Our primary goal is to defeat the rebellious and disloyal factions that are in the greater Charleroi region, and we plan to do so by capturing the main bases through which these rebels operate and hence decapitate them. We will then apply this general strategy of seizing bases and resource storage points of the rebel factions to other regions as well, and gradually over time we will have brought back all of Acadia under our control. Apart from that we will be engaging in a 'hearts-and-minds' campaign where we will consolidate our legitimacy and support amongst the populace by ensuring some semblance of order is maintained in territories under our control, as well as by providing aid to survivors and generally giving them good living conditions. That way, more people will wish to rally around our government and we may not even have to use that much force at all."
The president smiles. "That is a brilliant strategy. We have considered it, but our lack of intelligence about these groups made us consider other possibilities. Perhaps if your military provided intelligence sharing services to us, we will be able to authorize such missions as well. Our strategy is: divide and conquer, if not by force then by winning hearts and minds.
The president replies, "Of greater use will be satellite imagery showing the exact locations of these rebel camps first and foremost. After that will of course be knowledge on how these rebels are organized, who their leaders are, what their current materiel situations are, etc., so that we can better devise strategies for incentivizing defections and submissions to our government."
The president replies, "We'd like to listen to your proposal. We're still conducting a propaganda campaign in order to increase support for our government, hence our cautious military strategy --- we won't strike accept to defend ourselves for the time being."
We'd like to establish diplomatic relations with your nation, whatever it is.
