Official Message from the Ministry of Jurisprudence
The Ministry of Jurisprudence hereby calls on the Honourable Founder Nassau-windsor, LSM to announce Parliamentary Elections. Pursuant to SO#2016-18, Article III, Section 1, the Founder must announce elections one week before they are to be held.

I will go along and revive this region. I unfortunately had to create a new forum site, because none of us do have the full founder abilities and powers over the old. The new forum site is the following:
http://parliamentaryunion.forumotion.com/
Although it is still under construction, I do not think it will take us that long any more.
The question now really is if we wish to continue from where we were, or if we want to start anew, with a fresh constitution and the like. Personally, I would be more in favour of the latter, but I will have a regional poll on this because your opinions do matter as much as everyone else's. Please vote in the poll and from there we will see what should happen.
Two things: first, I think that it is perfectly feasible to rebuild where we left off, so we have the advantage of our history going with us. I think at least using our institutions to make any changes is necessary, because of how our government is always been the ultimate authority on how we run own region. The decision of how to proceed, I believe should at least be worked out within the current system, which allows for us to make constitutional changes if we so desire.
Second, to my understanding, Aralunya, you, LibDem and I all have full administrative staff authority over the current forum-- we used the forum for years without needing the actual "founder" and I have never noticed any administrative duty that I don't have access to... and continuing with the current site has the advantage of keeping our still active laws and history easily accessible for reference.
Is there a particular reason for creating a new site?
I agree with Abdoa on this one -- I would like to keep the years of work we already put into this region, the extensive government we've build, and our body of literally hundreds of laws. Furthermore, I would ask the Hon. Founder to explain why a new forum is necessary when we already have admin privileges on the former. Plus Aralunya has returned several times after CTE, and I don't think we have sufficient reason to believe that he would not once we reboot.
I believe the best course of action would be to call by-elections for the Parliament, PM, and President as soon as legally possible so we can start rebuilding.

Appointments and Elections
President
Only Hashkin put himself forward to become President. As there are no opposing candidates, he is therefore duly elected to the said Office.
Prime Minister
Two candidates have put themselves forward to become Prime Minister, namely: Abdoa and Nassau-windsor. Therefore, an election shall be held. Members will be able to vote for 72-hours. The vote will be made available on the Region's page on NationStates.
Parliament
Only Nassau-windsor put himself forward to be a Member of Parliament. Therefore, he is duly elected as such.
Do we have members of parliament? I think technically elections need to be called.
Good luck!
So, I didn't realize until too late that Nassau-windsor had called parliamentary elections at the same time as the PM and Presidential ones. I have opened Parliament (the 15th), and hopefully we can have by-elections asap.
