My population is absurd, at 9 billion now... I remember counting it down to 1 billion and gawking at the big nations who'd racked up 4 or 5 billion people... it's crazy!

Truly that is the case. As I ponder my upcoming college years and beyond, I wonder how much longer I can stay on myself. My friend who introduced me to the game has long since left, and his nation is but a faint memory, its name forgotten to me and probably to him as well. Many friends have come and gone. Those that remain are scattered to the winds. It's been a long path, one that I suppose will eventually have to end, as all things must. Time has a way of doing that.
But I'm still here for now. You're still here. Cubey's still around. New Catza is still around. We've defied zombie apocalypses, nuclear wars, raiders, regions collapsing, WA amendments/resolutions, and the odds. If I was old enough, I'd drink a toast of beer to us all. I hope root beer will do. But we've made it this far. Who knows where the path leads, or what life will have in store for any of us. But if one thing is guaranteed, it will be one heckova run for all of us. And when it must end, maybe we'll have made enough of an impact on the community around us to be remembered.
OK, that's enough of that verklempt stuff. I hope everyone is doing well. You seem to be getting along well enough.
