It was announced today at 1700 hours that the Oberstgeneral der Stab Hektor Flyscher has requested he be allowed to retire at 76 after 10 years of loyal service to the Kaiser. The Imperator accepted the request and announced that his successor shall be General Der Stab Heinrich von Karlitz.

"My kind hearted volk of the Reich. As you know Zeikeutsyr has been suffering greatly from instability. We welcome those who can come to our home but there are those who can't or won't leave the land of their ancestors. We Tribals know that feeling well. So let us bring them our friendship. Before the iron curtain there was a great project that was completed but mothballed due to the Iron Curtain incident. Now it is time to unleash the ERMS Medstar and the Medstar fleet of the frigate sized vessels ERMS Gnade, Gesundheit, Apotheker, and Hoffung, on Zeikeutsyr. They will distribute food and provide medical care to all in need. This is a fleet of armed neutrality on an errand of mercy. None of the ERMS vessels are armed but they are being escorted by the Light Cruiser TSSS Manfred Von Richtofen and the Frigates Potsdam, Amsterdam, Florence, and Warsaw. I hope no war will come but if it does the the Medstar fleet will treat all wounded regardless of nationality.

"Your guest is here my lord." The Chamberlain said in a slightly above monotone. The 23 year old William Glies took over 5 years ago from the currently hospitalized William Cecil. Since that time he has learned well how to ensure he is always in Johann's favor through careful patience and humoring.
"Excellent. Bring him in." The Chamberlain motioned to the door guard who in turn motioned to a man outside. This man soon entered the throne room dressed in the Formal uniform of the Reichsarmee. His rnk markers showed those of and Oberst (colonel.) He stopped 10 feet from the steps to the throne and offered a formal Tribal salute. (Done with the right hand, the thumb is folded into the palm while the other four fingers remain fully extended and brought to the forehead) the Chamberlain proceeded with the courtly formalities.
"Mein Kaiser, I present your loyal servant from the Reichsarmee, Oberst Anton Krüger." The Kaiser smiled broadly.
"At ease Oberst." Krüger did so with perfect drill precision. "I have heard of your deeds in Zeppelin. The stories that have been told of you are... Intriguing. I wanted to meet such a talented officer for myself."
"Permission to speak sir?"
"Granted." Johann appreciated that the Oberst was clearly military stock.
"It wasn't a hard task in Zeppelin. I just started organizing units and using the pirates tactics against them. Jumped them, tricked them, trapped them, and killed them." Calm, cold, precise.
"I want you to look over something for me." The Kaiser pulled out a large binder. "I want you to read this draft of my reform plans for the Reichmiliz and tell me what you think." Anton looked at the binder then at the kaiser.
"With utmost respect sir, I don't think I am best equipped for that. The Generalstab seem more fit for that purpose."
"Its not ready for their review yet. Consider yourself my Jr. Review Officer." Anton nodded and snapped back to attention.
"Anything else sir?"
"No Oberst. Dismissed."
