That's still plenty of time before November, unless there's a grace period or something I'm not remembering.

I still remember when my mom and dad wanted to emigrate to the US and get a citizenship for all of us. Which then turned to getting a residence permit, which we never got as we just took an extended stay visa.

Funny that my dad, a man who speaks terrible English, wanted to do that

Even then not going to matter. I’ll most likely vote for Biden, not because I support or respect him, but because I am so done with Trump that I am willing to vote for the equivalent of unflavored ice cream. But I am not happy that my first vote may be spend on this.l

Yeah I don't think any of us are happy about it.

New aapelistan wrote:Wait, I didn't know that you are not a US citizen

I’ve lived here long enough that I am a basically a citizen.

Most Republicans are still waiting for the second coming of Reagan, which Trump most certainly was not.

Most Democrats are desperate for anyone who isn't a shrieking ecomentalist or an intellectually obsolescent pinko.

Shidei wrote:Mattis just blasted Trump in yet another well written statement. This time it's so direct there's no plugging ears and pretending you can't read between the lines.

It'll be interesting to see how Fox and Friends and the GOP handle this. Though most likely they're going to pretend it never happened, there's a non zero chance they'll make an even more outlandish claim Mattis was unfit for office and was always the bad guy, and should be ignored because he's not an elected official and God Emperor Trump can do no wrong

They don’t give a fûck. I thought this could be the thing that breaks my dad on it but he doesn’t care. He wants Trump to use lethal force on the protestors. In addition he does not care about all the settlements (in the millions) that trump has paid out to people who alleged he raped them when they were children

It is saddening that a good portion of the country is deranged. Not gonna lie, I almost want the boog to happen for a chance for the country to weed all that out. What was it? “That the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tryants?”

Bruh I just want Yang or Gabbard. Hell man, those were two candidates that would have been amazing for America. And of course America missed its chance because for some reason we want people in politics who are out of touch with reality. I want an electable age cap of 65. If you can receive social security you should not be running for president

Problem being is that these tyrants will simply point to the people living on the coasts and cities and use them as scapegoats, in the end it may be our blood that is spend to sate their hunger.

Miklania wrote:Yeah I don't think any of us are happy about it.

Despite our political differences, we still have that in common. We were dealt a pile of sh*t for this election. ;D
Oh how I missed y'all.

Yang seems like a genuinely nice person, but his policies are terrible. I can't endorse him for any political office. Gabbard is even more vanilla than Biden. At least the senility gives him some character. An age cap is a very silly idea.

It would have good company with all that is going on right now.

When the giant meteor wipes out all of civilization in September I volunteer to clean out y'all's browsing history

Segentova, Athara magarat, Wellsia, and Nhoor

The only way to stop the madness that has taken over American politics is to outlaw both major parties. They are more concerned with making the other side look bad instead of doing what is for the betterment of America.

Why do meteors always wipe out the small part of this world that is civilisation? Can't they just rid us from the large barbaric parts and be done with it?

Emperor Norton was already way ahead of you.

Yeah, I've always hated Australia anyways.

Australia? I'm talking about Aire de Capellen and Aire de Berchem...

You can say France. It's not blocked by the chat filter on this site

Nhoor wrote:Australia? I'm talking about Aire de Capellen and Aire de Berchem...

I don't know much about Luxembourg. I only passed through to get to Belgium from the Saar.

Then you must have passed both aforementioned Aires :)

Are we talking about the same Tulsi Gabbard who is a rabid supporter of Hinduvata?

The same Gabbard who supported the Hinduvata groups that lobbied against the replacement of "Indian" with "South Asian" in school textbooks cause "muh great Indian civilization will be erased if people keep using South Asian term".

Then again, I am sure she would have been quite a good candidate (combat veteran who opposes military intervention) but her links with Hinduvata groups and that dumb "India-South Asian" controversy was widely reported around here.

To each their own, I genuinely enjoy Yangs policies, especially as id like to get into automation engineering and putting people out of the job. At least I’d have a cleaner conscious
