If you want some things that happened in South America come to me! Looking at your posts I can see your focusing at the moment on the year 1970, so here you are:

In 1970 socialist Salvador Allende gained power in Chile despite the CIA'S best efforts. As a leader he was popular and democratic. Then in 1973 he was killed in a coup organised by the American government and replaced by far right facist dictator Pinochet.

No, there aren't that many where I live but I know they get a lot of unfair abuse and are targets of discrimination in other less developed countries in Europe.

ONLY SEEN BY USSR
The PRC is waiting to pile another 500,000 troops from the west regions to fight in case the battle for Taiwan gets prolonged. Another 1,500,000 will be station along the borders of NK in case they need assistance again. Another 300,000 near Vietnam, if the Americans try a full scale to push north.

It will be a bit more, but the operations are underway for certain.

Attention: Even though troops pulled out early, the mission in The Red Guards was voluntary and a success. The region has repelled a couter-attack from invading forces and secured the region for the founder to return. Other operations for training will be scheduled shortly, but we've be offered a few military pacts since our participation. Though our numbers in the regional military will need to be up just a bit if we are to be effective in larger co-ops with allies who want our help later on. o7
