Stahl Industries North R&D, Solitas.

Roxas and his personal bodyguard Errol Reinhart enter the high security R&D department of Stahl Industries to witness the results of several months by of research into a new weapons prototype. While they didn’t know what the end result was, they knew exactly what was about to happen when they saw the CEO of the company, a woman in her mid 50’s with bright red hair just starting to go grey. Lillian Stahl almost never missed a chance to come up to Solitas. The three children of House Amory were her grandchildren after all.

“Lilly. Always a welcome surprise when you come to visit.” Roxas greeted as his mother in law as she pulled both him and Errol into a hug. They made small talk for a bit until Errol made a comment about a bear cub living in the citadel.

“Bear cub? I hope you’re not being literal.” Lillian asked, squinting at Errol.

“He isn’t.” Roxas clarified “The head of the Ursian council sent his son to us while he fights his civil war.”

“Hopefully they’re getting along. I know Cíelle can struggle with adjusting to change.”

Roxas smirked “She’s actually surprisingly ok. She seems to be getting along with him even better than Cypress is.”

“Warning. Weapons testing in progress. Please put on eye protection and move at least 2m away from the viewing window.” An automated voice rang throughout the room. The three got ready and Roxas inspected the weapon. The device was about 3m long and must have weighed at least half a ton. The electrocyte in the canister was a bright neon green instead of light blue. It must have been the irradiated electrocyte WARPP took from the blast crater after the Nugget War.

An engineer in s radiation suit walked over to the weapon and powered it on. Once the weapon started to crackle with green energy he aimed the barrel at the target, a boar carcass. He held the trigger and the green energy swirled around the barrel for a moment before a nearly blinding green flash blasted across the room and blasted the target, reducing to a disintegrated burning crisp covered in green fire.

“Did...did you’re people just invent an actual plasma weapon?” Roxas asked.

Sovark Island, The Ursian Empire.

Since the coup the Violetists wasted no time in fortifying military bases and establishing control over the nation. Sovark island was key to controlling the waters and coastline of the western Side of the Ursian peninsula. With the east covered in steep mountains the island is the most likely target for a counterstrike if any of Ursia’s allies try anything. Unfortunately for them it wasn’t exactly an ally that the loyalists had supporting them.

The incoming storm of freezing rain rolling up from the south was already impairing vision and messing with comms signals. With their eyes on the storm they never saw a small zodiac boat with 8 occupants get off on the opposite side of the island facing the mainland.

Roxas sat in his office going over the reports from the other WARPP nations. Uniopolis, Epiree, and W amadeus mozart had all managed to confirm that there were no Violetist infiltration despite their lack of international activity lately. Sakiria was still investigating. However American desseret, Trashkanistan73, and The Greenlandic North had yet to confirm safety or infiltration. Most importantly the Triumvirate had yet to suffer any infiltration or attack. he pressed a button on his desk computer and an image of Mace battalion Col. Markham Byrd aboard the Meriwell appeared on his holo-screen.

“Colonel. How are things going in Ursia?” Roxas asked.

“Progressing Your Grace. We’re gathering legion forces and Ursian loyalists to try and retake Sovark Island, a large island naval base off their western coast. If we can retake it WARPP forces can use it as a staging area to lunch an invasion force to retake the rest of the country. The Violetist insurgents and Ursian traitors have already fortified the base with numbers and anti-vehicle weaponry. However there’s going to be a storm in 2 days. We’re planning on striking then when they’re most vulnerable. On the search front bear team 5 and Crimson are spearheading the search for Alex and Natalie Windwalker. If they’re still alive we’ll find them.”

Roxas sighed and leaned in. “And in a worst case scenario the boy is safe and secure here. I trust in Crimson, and you as well. Retake the base and try to minimize damage to it’s infrastructure. as for the enemy, you know what to do. Show no mercy and expect none in return.”

“Understood Your Grace.”

The Amory twins were in the one of the many halls of the citadel discussing the depressed bear cub. They haven’t seen him since yesterday morning at breakfast and were pretty sure he’s just shut himself in his room, not coming out for anyone.

“There has to be something we can do.” Cíelle urged her twin, her mood seemingly less reserved than usual.

“Ok…we have al kinds of games here. Or we could play something like hide and explode in the courtyard?” Cypress suggested.

“maybe one he knows…what games do Ursians play?” She asked. Cypress just shrugged before Cíelle looked out a window and said with the same smile her father has when coming up with a plan. “Actually…he probably misses his home. What if we show him that here isn’t so bad either?”

“Oh no, what are you thinking?”

TST Meriwell, Over the Ursian coast.

Col. Byrd looked out at the small fleet of Ursians gathering to retake Sovark Island. It wasn’t the largest force, but with the Stigyan backup it should be doable. He just hoped some help from WARPP allies would arrive in time.

Citadel of Solitas

"So, FA3, where do you think Roxas went?" asked FA2.

The 5 Falcons were still in the Citadel. Due to the worrisome state of Barnos, Roxas advised them to protect him instead, he'll use the Praetorian Guard.

"He met up with Lillian in Stahl Industries," replied FA3.

"Wait. That's gotta be classified information, how the hell---" said FA1.

"You used your awareness, didn’t you?” asked FA4.

“Maybeee,” FA3 replied again.

“Goddammit FA3,” the whole group said.

“Whaaat, I totally did not peak at Roxas’ to do list”

They all look at him with doubt.

“Sheesh, if we don’t know where he goes, how shall we protect him?”

“He has the Praetorian Guard, he’ll be fine. Besides they are our equals in the first place. Only team I know who outclasses them are our friends at Imperial Russia or Bear Team,” mentioned FA1.

“Still, we’re not gonna be good protectors if we don’t know where our targets are,” whined FA3.

“Fine then, but, out of curiosity, tell us what do you think Lillian Stahl is proposing to the Stigyan Emperor?” asked FA2.

“Plasma electrolyte cannons. Idk how it looks like though,” said FA3.

“Interesting. The only weapon we have that is similar to that are our chrono sonic boom weaponry. Stigyans really are advancing far ahead.”

“Makes sense, we’re dragged into a civil war, we can’t innovate in a situation like this.”

Cíelle and Cypress approach the group.

“Hello little ones, what do you require of us?” asked FA5.

“Greetings. I have a question, is there any activity in Ursia that is similar here in the Triumvirate?” asked Cíelle.

The group looked up in wonder and faced the young heir.

“I have a question in response. This is to cheer up Barnos isn’t it?”

“Yeah, he’s been in his room for hours now after breakfast. He hasn’t even eaten lunch. We’re worried about him and, we think showing that our country is pretty nice itself. But we want to introduce him slowly, so we want to show something more familiar for him,” they both explained.

“Give him a bouquet of flowers,” they all said.

Cíelle blushed frantically.

“WAIT, HOLD ON. THAT’S A COMMON THING IN URSIA?”

“Oh no no no no, we mean you should throw a bunch of flower petals into a windy climate, recommended somewhere high like one of these mountains.”

“Is there an event in Ursia like that?”
“I’ll explain. Ursus Majoro is the heart of our empire. Situated between Mount Sturm and the Polaris River, it has had many names since its founding 12000 years ago. Holy Bear’s Heart, the Cave of Dreams, the Indomitable Moutain. However, its most famous name is, City of Stormflowers.”

“And I’m assuming these Stormflowers fall down from Mt.Sturm on Ursus Majoro?” asked Cypress

“Correctly that. Stormflowers are the only flowers that grow on Mt.Sturm due to their evolution in thriving in the cold. In fact, getting a medicine with a base of stormflower has reportedly given a person more resistance to the cold. Every year, during autumn, these lotus petals flow down to Ursus Majoro due to the wind of Mt.Sturm. It’s a beautiful event. No child of Holy Bear has never seen it. In fact, Alexander IV contracted some companies to transport people across the land to see the spectacle.”

“Barnos likes those?” asked Cíelle.

“Yes. In fact, our Falcon predecessors had to be sent on a search and rescue mission when he was 3 because he was too busy playing in the snow with the flowers. Alex and Natalie were very worried.”

“Well then, we got a job to do. I think there’s a flower shop nearby which we can ask one of the Guards to buy from, let’s go,” they both said.

They both left the corridor.

“Hmmph, they are really nice children,” said FA2.

“Falcons, you need to report to the communications office right now,” a Praetorian Guard said.

“If this means all of us, something very bad is going to happen.”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sakiria Radar Tower

“So, the Crimsons and Bear Team are wreaking havoc on Sovark Island yes?” asked the operator.

“Yup, according to the Falcons, they pretty much assassinated key insurgents there. However…” said the officer in charge.

He looks at the radar report. A F/A Dragonstorm, an air superiority and attack aircraft. The surviving Councilors has said that the Dragonstorm was never built for stealth, only extreme speed, firepower and endurance. The Ursian Airforce is still currently rebuilding itself as it was the one most hit among the 3 branches of the Ursian military. The Army and Navy have been busy blockading the shore and keeping peace among the populace. So, this Dragonstorm, or maybe even a squad of them, is definitely an insurgent.

“Officer, I have the plane in my radar,” the Sakirian pilot leader intercepting the Dragonstorm said.

He, along with 9 others are flying at their fastest speed to interlock with the flightpath of the insurgent plane.

“Sir, my radar is having a hard time trying to track it. SIR, IT JUST SPED BY US-----------------,”

“Leader? Radar Operator, contact the rest.”

“I just did sir, they’re not responding at all sir. However, their black box recorded this.”

A sound graph was shown. At first, it looked like a regular sonic boom, but the graph soon had its lines go above the graph itself. The sound, by the looks of it, could shatter buildings. An airplane would stand no chance.

“Sir, the only way someone could make such a huge sound is by going Mach 10 and…”

“Using a UCVP. The damn thing used a chrono sonic boom.”

“Officer, urgent messages from, oh god. Multiple messages from various radar operators of WARPP. Trashkanistan, Imperial Russia, our own nation, the Triumvirate, Greenlandic North, Uueeidhhd, Urbania, Uniopolis, The First Mexican Republic. ALL OF WARPP. They are reporting, chrono sonic booms.”

“Hello? Hello? Officer, what’s going on. I have a bunch of children to protect and this needs to be quick,” said FA2.

“Falcon, Ursian insurgent aerial squadrons are coming for all of WARPP. We don’t know their intentions, but they are hostile.”

“Squadrons? You mean, Dragonstorms, Cyclones and even various siege ships?”

“Yes, all of them are coming out of teleport over various airspaces.”

“Frick. Get any anti-air battery, do not use missiles or planes to close in, those will be useless. Shoot the sky, and do not stop until that sound graph has a lower frequency. I’m making some calls to the Airforce.”

“God help us all,” said the operator.

“May Holy Bear shield WARPP,” replied the Falcon.
