We're lawful evil? Our civil rights our decent, that should get us at least neutral evil.

Our standards our not humanitarian because we go beyond humanity!!! Mwahahahahahha!

We've got trouble lowering our corruption rate. It just skyrocketed when I wasn't looking.

I talk to myself all the time.. it's not weird.. it's just thinking out loud.

Also Yutah forgot to endorse me.. *cries*

It's been really stressful at work. I'm starting to hate my job.

I've been asked to babysit a very complex project which had a dedicated officer before he resigned. But I still have my own projects to take care and they expect me to know the ins and outs of the new project and answer questions at a moment's notice. Its impossible due to its complexity. They need to take this off me, or the other ones which I also have to do. Frustrating.

Well, don't mind me, just used that term 'cause it was the one that fit most when I fished around in my mind. I don't even know much about D&D.

Yup! It really isn't weird to me as well. So long as you don't suddenly shout to yourself or laugh like a maniac...

Oh wait...

I swear! It only happens when those god-awful cringey memories assault me!

Just looked at your graphs. I had no idea until now that political freedom could literally be non-existent.

Celestia's sake! Lower you say? It's already greyed out!

It's been a while since I've played d&d and I'm itching to play.

In a hypothetical world, a hypothetical me sometimes talks to himself when he's alone, and when certain memories assault him as he watches TV in the middle of the night – you know, the type of cringey, akward memories from your past that nobody probably remembers but you do – he sometimes gets a bit hyper (he doesn't deal with cringe well). Oh, and he talks to what sane people would see as toys for girls because he likes to think that they're alive in a way since they're his favorite character.

Feeling so called out right now.

What's your ideal monarchy in a real life example?

I like the dynasties in China before the Qing, but after the Han. The emperors rule nominally but are supported by a hugeeeeeeeeee bureaucracy that's generally based on meritocracy. A political system where there are very few "elites" in the form of nobles, and where anyone passing imperial exams can ascend the social ladder all the way to become the prime minister/grand chancellor.

Well, I'm not aware of any real life examples of the monarchy in my imagination, so I'll just describe it. Your example is pretty near, though.

There are two distinct governments, the normal Yutanian Government and the Yutanian Crown. The Crown usually leaves the day-to-day bureaucracy to the government, but it can exercise absolute power if it wants to. Usually it only involves itself in areas the monarch – that would be King Yutah – holds a personal interest in or major decisions. Otherwise the government is mostly self-sufficient.

As trivia, the military of the Kingdom nominally are divided into the Yutanian Armed Forces and the Royal Armed Forces. The former swears an oath to the citizens and the government, while the latter swears their oaths to the Crown. The Royal Guards in particular, however, swear their oaths to the Crown and the monarch they serve – this small distinction will only be important if the Declaration of Government Termination of Royal Authority is passed, however.

Oh, and the Crown is smaller than the Government, both in bureaucratic size and militarily, but the Crown has more unrestricted power. And the only dedicated intelligence agency in the Kingdom answers to the Crown. ;)

Still not up to date, but is it somewhat based of mlp. Forgot what the name of the country was. Canterlot is the capital right?

When you said monarchy but not autocracy I thought that everyone is automatically a part of the royal family, which basically everyone is ruling class, so basically a democracy with some fancy stuff.

Oh dear. There was a Coronovirus person in my city....

Don't pay attention to the sudden appearance of soldiers and Berserkers in hazmat suits screening and picking people up. It's all apart of our nation wide zombie apocalypse Z-day exercise! Should you be picked up don't worry, it's all apart of this fun exercise and those who are chosen are totally random!

Can’t name an ideal monarchy since I refuse to recognise figurehead monarchs as actual monarchs, so I’ll just describe a fictional system that belongs to a pet project.

The Celestial Kingdom of Sankarai has two governments, the Imperial Court, and the National Government. This distinction used to matter when multiple nations were actually under the control of the Dragon Emperor, now its just a single government pretending to be two.

As per tradition, the Imperial Court maintains control over the Ministries of Rites, War, and Communication, while the National Diet has full control of the Ministries of Justice, Education, Trade and Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Infrastructure.

In the armed forces, the Navy, Air Force and Imperial Guard and Grenadier units in the Army swear loyalty to the Imperial Court, while the other three-quarters of the army swear loyalty to the national government.

Canterlot's the capital of Equestria, yes.

As for my Kingdom, it mostly isn't based off of Equestria, though particular details have taken inspiration from it.

GawHool wrote:Sounds pretty complicated but intriguing! Who is in charge of Police and stuff?

As everyday stuff, that would be the normal government, though the Crown has the authority to act in all matters should they chose to do so.

P.S. Happy Birthday!!!

Sounds pretty similar to mine!

Except it isn't a single government pretending to be two.

The normal government is made up of the parliament/congress/whatever, the various Ministries, and an elected leader (title not yet decided). The Crown, on the other hand, revolves around the King, with much smaller versions of the Ministries, the Royal Bureaus, working under the Crown's instructions by siphoning off the base of their work from the Ministries and doing what they need to do with it. There's also the Royal Council, which is an advisory council to the King, with most members being directly appointed, the exceptions being three seats reserved as the sole place the normal government represents itself in the Crown.

Oh yeah, I wondered about that as well.

Why would you need an alarm for bath time?
