ZOCOM wrote:Albus sighed heavily after Heimrich came down to the matter at hand "I'm not going to ask what you intend to do with that information... I have a decent idea. I can understand your reason for doing so... I did all I could to try and stop his execution. But it was out of my power... The one who handled the sentence was an Elder back in lands end, in the Elder compound. I thought you would have been after the one who originally got Gregor arrested all things considered... But the Elders name is Typhus Elhasna... And if you want it... The one who got his arrested in the first place was knight Olyses. He say Gregor making that cross of yours before his brother was felled by it in their pursuit of you with that girl you are now with..."

He watches Heimrich close his eyes for a moment. "It looks like I won't have to get further involved then. I ended it with the Lich." Eyes open and look back to Albus. "Their hearts are clean, Olyses lied to not earn the Lich's anger, everyone knew Gregor and I were close and he would be the lead culprit. This Elder Typhus did his job in quelling a threat in the ranks. I can argue that, but it's not worth killing over." Noticing the question on Albus' face he explains Olyses' lie. "I was the one who forged Wooden Memory, Gregor used the aura gift from the vampire to supply me the metal I needed. If Olyses was there to see it, I likely would have slain him. I don't care whether the truth comes out.

"No one else dies today, but know this. If anyone else, whether search parties or the entire army, comes after Gregor or searching for me, I will not be so kind." Heimrich nods slightly to his elder. "I'm sure you'll be able to convince them after today, when the others come back with Duncan's body. If anything will be left."

ZOCOM wrote:It was no secret that Duncan was only slipping further and further with each surge forth that Vengeance made in his mission to further his masters goals. Along with trying his best to get Duncan to fight back and bargain with him into joining with him... But the Zoconian was too stubborn, wanting to either utilise Vengeance or be rid of him altogether. But such a thing was impossible now, their bodies too intertwined. There was no way to brute force them apart because of how identical their souls were now, there was no way to force Duncan from Vengeance without severely damaging them both...

The spear that Hiemrich dodged lodges into the ground before turning to pure mist, expanding his domain behind Heimrich. With the fist fe drops of fresh crimson that become exposed to the air, Vengeance's eyes fixate of the droplets of fresh blood before it all snapped in the back of his head More... MOOOOORE!! HE'S STILL BREATHING!! mentally screamed the beast dug deeply into the divine wellspring that he had yet to really tap into. A cry of insanity and victory as he finally spilt some of Heimrich's blood, not to bleed him dry.

Though not even he who felt both of Heimrich's knuckles strike into his side, throwing him off of as Heimrich weaved around his mindless charge. The beast came skidding to a halt before he vanishes, reappearing in the closest pocket of his 'domain' to Heimrich so that he could run him through with his spear.

While the focus was on his body, Heimrich was not truly anchored to it. His mind is spread throughout the battle zone, analyzing, predicting and counter-predicting every instant of the battlefield. The Enochian method of teleportation is instant, but with Heimrich's elevated state of being, reading the magical currents, watching each spell take hold, watching the teleport anchor draw a line to connect to an anchor forming behind him, all in the same instant as the instant teleport gives his consciousness time to direct his mortal form to move accordingly. With a mix of sideways dodge and forward somersault Heimrich avoids a spear materializing where his chest was a moment before, refacing Vengeance as the creature evolves further into the true ivory monstrosity it is, steadily losing its human features as they are consumed by the Forgotten's uncontrollable rage. He needed to drive himself further into the corner he created for himself by allowing Vengeance to fully transform, he knows his understanding of the Mentat mind is not strong enough for what he plans to use it for later. Vengeance can give him the push he needs.

With disdainful eyes he looks up at Vengeance, showing again his own instant teleport as he Trance Steps back on his feet, out of the reach of Vengeance's next attack as he backhands the air, creating lines of green light that slice into the creature's bone hide before he once again fires neon arrows of light, joining the other arrows that have finally caught up to Vengeance's incredible speed.
