Declaration of Emperor Alexander

The nation of Hellenaica had been broken at the hands of the nation of Western Vapia, the spirit of the people had been broken. But as the post war years came, the people, and the government, would recover. The economy could never truley recover in the short period, but the resolve of the King could not allow the nation to slip further into obscurity. With a long term military build up program, the army would recover its lost numbers, and after extensive training, the military was prepared for expansion. A 10 year long campaign would follow with the Kingdom eventually annexing all of its neighbors to its NorthEast. With the dust settling on the far flung nation, the Kingdom controlled a large amount of territory. Far more than it had. They no longer were a Kingdom. They were an Empire. Armed with this knowledge, the government officially declared the King, Alexander Constantine I, as the new Emperor of Hellenaica.
